Legends of Kanto - A Kanto Region Adventure

Elysia had been up bright and early that morning and was well on her way to Pallet Town. She was an organized person(usually) and was about to begin her pokemon journey. Of course, she was as excited as anyone could be, though she didn't outright show it so as not to embarrass herself.
On her shoulder she carried a bag which contained almost everything she would need on her time on the road.
Elysia lived in Viridian City with her parents and though her mother still lived there, her father had taken off a few months back without telling anyone. To this day, her and her mother wondered where he had gone.

Despite the mystery behind it, Elysia never let it bother her. Instead she was now taking a leisurely stroll down Route 1, avoiding the patches of grass where wild pokemon could jump out from. Her unusual white hair was blowing in the soft breeze as she glanced up at the sky with her brown eyes.

Elysia watched as a few Pidgey flew past, a feather or two floating down to the ground. As she turned her attention back to her destination and entered the small town, Elysia couldn't help but wonder which pokemon she would pick.
There were three starters, Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur. If she was honest, she didn't really take to Bulbasaur, maybe it was because she didn't like its evolutions very much.
Squirtle and Charmander, now they were both cute, but she wasn't sure which one would suit her most.

Putting her thoughts aside for now, she focused on getting to Professor Oak's lab. Shading her eyes with one hand, she realized that the lab was on top of a small hill and that she could see it from where she was stood. Grinning she made her way past multiple houses, her white scarf blowing in the wind.

Elysia looks like this:

Elysia watched the Pidgey as Draco attacked it. She blinked before looking at Evelyn.
"C'mon Evelyn, whilst they do that, I wanna catch myself a Pidgey of my own."

Not far away, Elysia managed to find a Pidgey. It was pecking at the ground, minding its own business. With a quick glance at Kari to check how she and Draco were doing, Elysia told Evelyn to use Synchronoise.

The Pidgey nearly jumped out of its skin as the odd shock wave targeted any pokemon that was the same type as the Eevee. The Pidgey, being half normal type was damaged by the attack and then while it was distracted, Elysia told Evelyn to go in for a Tackle.

The Pidgey shook its head and ruffled its feathers before retaliating with its own Tackle move. Both connected head on.

Draco was pushed back by the Takle and growled. "Draco use Scratch!" Kari commanded. Draco used Scratch on the Pidgey causing it to fall to the ground, Kari thought for a moment and decided not to catch it. "Draco use Scratch again!" she shouted again the Charmander used Growl instead of Scratch.

Being the weaker of the two pokemon, the Pidgey was the one pushed backwards and it soon gave up the Tackle vs Tackle fight, fluttering back up into the air. It hovered for a second before using Air Cutter.
Elysia blinked. Pidgey didn't learn Air Cutter by leveling up..and even if it did it certainly wouldn't at this low of a level.
"Evelyn dodge and use Synchronoise again!"

Swiftly dodging the razor sharp blades of air that were being propelled towards her, the Eevee proceeded to use Synchronoise, once again targeting the Normal types in the area.

The Pidgey swiftly stopped its attack and fell to the ground, defeated. Before she any celebrations though, Elysia threw a pokeball and waited with bated breath to see if she would catch the pokemon.

This time Growl was louder then the first time and woke up an entie flock of Pidgey. "Uh oh. Draco come on!" Kari shouted as the Pidgey started to dive bomb at the Charmander. But draco stood his ground trying to take all of the Pidgey on. By jumping in the air he used Scratch attack.

The pokeball clicked and Elysia nearly jumped for joy, having caught her second pokemon. It was then though that she realized there were now an entire flock of Pidgey attacking Kari and Draco.
Quickly grabbing her new Pidgey's pokeball she dashed over to Kari, "What happened?"

Evelyn quickly followed her trainer over to the crowd of pokemon. Without thinking, Elysia told her Eevee to use Synchronoise.
With a quick nod, Evelyn sent the shock wave towards both Draco and the Pidgey, however it wouldn't effect the Charmander. However, Elysia didn't know whether Kari and Draco knew this yet.

The pidgey started pecking at Kari while she raised her arms to protect her face, "I don't know Draco used Growl and I think we woke a flock of Pidgey!" she tried to explain. The Pidgey were blown back by Evelyn's attack making them even more upset, "Pidgey!" they all cried out. Draco watched the Pidgey with cold eyes as they flew higher into the sky.

Elysia wasn't sure whether or not the Pidgey planned to stay away for good so, keeping Evelyn on standby in case things went pear shaped, she sent her newly caught Pidgey out.
"I know I haven't named you yet, but I need your help Pidgey. I want you to speak to the flock and explain that this was just an accident."

Nodding, the weakened Pidgey fluttered up into the air towards his former flock. He hovered among them, cries of "Pidge, Pidgey" coming from both him and the other bird pokemon as he tried to explain.

The Pidey that Draco was battleing was still on the ground looking confused. Kari ran over to it to see if it was ok, "Is this your Flock?" she asked it.The pidgey shookit's head no. "Char!!" Draco cried out falling to the ground. Kari looked up and now was a flock of Spearow.

Both Elysia's Pidgey and the Pidgey flock turned their attention to the Spearow flock as they heard the other birds' cries. This didn't look good. Evelyn glanced back at her trainer wondering what she'd do next.
Elysia knew that she could use Synchronoise again and attack all the normal/flying type pokemon at once, but her own Pidgey would be caught in the crossfire. Elysia glanced over to Kari, wondering what she would do about the new development.

"Draco! You ok?" Kari asked her weakened Pokemon as she picked him up. The Spearow let out shrill cries and started pecking at Kari and her injered Charmander. Kari sheilded her new friend and the small Pidgey that she fought before mustered up enough strength to use Sand attack at the flock of birds. "Pidgey pidgey!" she cried trying to make them to go away.

Trying to protect his former flock mates, Elysia's Pidgey used its inherited Air Cutter move in an attempt to drive the Spearow away. Admittedly he wasn't the strongest Pidgey in the flock but he had to try didn't he?

The razor blades of wind shot towards the flock of Spearow. Elysia watched in wonder as her Pidgey took control of the situation. She smiled and walked over to pick up Evelyn before yelling up to her male Pidgey.
"Pidgey! Tell all of the other Pidgey to move out of Evelyn's radius!"

Elysia wasn't about to let this fight get out of hand. She didn't want there to be an all out aerial battle between the two species. She would just teach the Spearow a lesson and make sure they didn't come back.

"Draco can you use Scratch?" Kari asked her Pokemon. The charmander looked at her for a moment and nodded. "Ok then let's help Pidgey out!" she said. Draco leapt in the air and used Scratch on a near by Spearow. It drew back so Kari figured it might be a good Pokemon to catch. She took out a Pokeball and threw it at the Flying Pokemon. The Pidgey got Pecked by another spearow and got knocked into the one that Kari was about to catch. The Pokeball tapped the pidgey on the haed and fell to the ground and wiggled a few times.

Elysia's Pidgey ceased its Air Cutter and fluttered around, calling at the top of its voice for the Pidgey flock to move away from the Spearow before they were caught by Evelyn's Sychronoise move.

Once the flock and Elysia's Pidgey had quickly fluttered out of the way, Evelyn used the chance to finally use Sychronoise on the Spearow in the area. The Eevee then curled up in Elysia's arms, the Spearow knowing that they were outmatched by the Evolution pokemon.

The pokeball that kari threw stopped wiggleing with a "Ting". Kari picked up the Pokeball and looked at it in confusion she then turned to Elysia, "Guess we both have a Pidgey. Come on out!" she said releasing the Tiny bird Pokemon from it's Pokeball. "Pidgey!" she cried and flew onto Kari's arm, "I think i'll call you "Haruka". What do you think?" she asked. The Pidgey let out a joyfull cry at it's new name, "Pidgey!(It sounds beautiful!)" she said.

As the Spearow flew off into the distance, she recalled her own Pidgey. He swiftly landed on her right shoulder, the opposite of the one Evelyn would normally sit on.
Elysia sighed in relief as the commotion all grew to a halt and the forest returned to its normal peaceful state.
She turned to the Tiny Bird pokemon on her shoulder, "Male right? I think I'll name you Castiel. Cas for short."

She then walked over to Kari and her newly caught pokemon.
"Is Draco okay?"

Meanwhile, Castiel was flapping his wings in approval. He obviously liked his new name.

(Castiel is pronounced cas-tee-el)

Draco was sitting down panting heavily. "I think we should get him to a Pokemon Center. He suffered alot from that Peck attack." Kari said picking up her Pokemon. The Charmander looked at his trainer and put his paw on her cheek of showing her that he was sorry for the mess that he had caused. "It's ok. The main thing is that we get you and haruka healed." she said with kind eyes already taking off to Varidian City.

"Hey Kari!" yelled Elysia, quickly returning both Evelyn and Castiel to their pokeballs so they could get some rest. She then ran after the other trainer.
"You can't just go running through an area like this. You'll just end up attracting more wild pokemon than you already have done!!"

Kari skidded to a hault, "Right sorry. I alwaysdo that." she appoligized returning her two Pokemon into their Pokeballs. She waited for the other trainer to catch up to her. "I've always done things first without planning ahead." she said with a giggle while she straigtened her Kimono shirt.

"Its alright." she replied, "I'm used to planning ahead."
Elysia caught up to Kari and then began a slow walk towards Viridian City. "It shouldn't take long to get there now anyhow. Draco and Haruka will be fine until then," she smiled warmly.

It didn't take long to traverse the remainder of Route One and finally enter the city. Elysia lead the way, knowing the place well since she lived there. She immediately headed for the Pokemon Center, knowing that her mother would understand them healing their Pokemon before she visited.

Kari followed Elysia to the pokemon center to heall her Pokemon. "Hello welcome to the Pokemon center. Shall i heal our Pokemon?" the nurse asked. "Yes please." Kari said handing the nurse her two Pokeballs. She went over to a bench to wait, hopeing that her Pokemon will be ok; especially Draco.

Elysia also handed Nurse Joy her Pokemon. It didn't take her long to heal Evelyn and Castiel though as they were really only tired and hadn't taken any major damage.
Soon enough, Elysia got her Pokemon back and went to sit next to Kari.

"He'll be alright you know," said Elysia abruptly. "Both of them will."

"I know. It just scared me, and I'm not sure why it did." Kari explained while she waited. She looked up and saw the nurse bringing out her Pokeballs. "Theyy just need a good night's rest and they'll be fine." the nurse said. Kari bowed in gratittude and turned to Elysia to see what they should do next.

"Well I'm still planning on heading home today before I leave completely tomorrow." replied Elysia, who was looking forward to showing her mother Evelyn and Castiel.

She got to her feet, putting the poke balls in her pale blue shoulder bag. "I don't mind if you want to stay here. I'm not forcing you to come with me."

Kari put her Pokeballs in her shoulder bag when sher herd what Elysia said, "Oh no. Don't worry i wouldn't want to intrude and I don't mind staying here." she said half-heartedly while waving her hands in the air. Turth was she wanted to meet Elysia's family but she really didn't want to invade on their privicy. "Beside's I promised my Mom that i'd call her." she added.

"You sure?" she replied, standing by the door of the Pokemon center. "I'm sure my mom would like to meet you, since I'll probably be telling her all about you anyway." she chuckled.
Elysia tilted her head to the side, the door half open as she waited for Kari's final answer.
