Legends of Kanto - A Kanto Region Adventure

Elysia had been up bright and early that morning and was well on her way to Pallet Town. She was an organized person(usually) and was about to begin her pokemon journey. Of course, she was as excited as anyone could be, though she didn't outright show it so as not to embarrass herself.
On her shoulder she carried a bag which contained almost everything she would need on her time on the road.
Elysia lived in Viridian City with her parents and though her mother still lived there, her father had taken off a few months back without telling anyone. To this day, her and her mother wondered where he had gone.

Despite the mystery behind it, Elysia never let it bother her. Instead she was now taking a leisurely stroll down Route 1, avoiding the patches of grass where wild pokemon could jump out from. Her unusual white hair was blowing in the soft breeze as she glanced up at the sky with her brown eyes.

Elysia watched as a few Pidgey flew past, a feather or two floating down to the ground. As she turned her attention back to her destination and entered the small town, Elysia couldn't help but wonder which pokemon she would pick.
There were three starters, Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur. If she was honest, she didn't really take to Bulbasaur, maybe it was because she didn't like its evolutions very much.
Squirtle and Charmander, now they were both cute, but she wasn't sure which one would suit her most.

Putting her thoughts aside for now, she focused on getting to Professor Oak's lab. Shading her eyes with one hand, she realized that the lab was on top of a small hill and that she could see it from where she was stood. Grinning she made her way past multiple houses, her white scarf blowing in the wind.

Elysia looks like this:

Castiel flapped his wings, creating strong Gusts of wind, more and more to defeat the Beedrill. However, it wasn't long before Elysia realized that the winds seemed to be once again getting stronger. Instead of plainly damaging the Beedrill, they were physically blowing them away.
"Whirlwind..." she whispered to herself as the least of the Beedrill were driven from the clearing.

Sighing in relief as Castiel neatly landed back on her shoulder, she ruffled the feathers on the Pidgey's head, congratulating him for his new move.

Eyal had stopped his own attacks when he had realized that Castiel's Gust had become a Whirlwind. A useful move no doubt in situations such as this.

Elysia then hopped over to where Kaname was.
"Are you alright?" she asked, running her hands through her rather ragged white hair. She pulled a stray leaf off of her head, chuckling to herself at how stupid she must have looked whilst she was battling the Beedrill.

Senna stopped her attacks as she saw the Beedrill where being blown away. She ran over to Bruteroot and Kaname, "Pikachu?(Is Bruteroot ok?)" she asked. Kaname got up holding his injered Pokemon, "I'm fine we need to get Bruteroot to a Pokemon Center." he said in a worried tone.

"I hope Senna and the others are ok." Kari said running beside Rick. She was worried for her friends as well as the injered Pikachu that Rick was carying.

Elysia nodded, "If we hurry, we can catch up to Kari and Rick in no time."
The trainer smiled and stroked Castiel's head again before she smiled at Eyal.
"Would you like to lead the way?"

The Farfetch'd nodded, getting read to lead them out of the forest.

Meanwhile, Rick looked at the Pikachu in his arms with a troubled frown. They were about to enter the city. Kari's comment had shaken him from his thoughts.
"I'm sure they'll be fine." he smiled.

Runa took the chance to glance back, despite the fact that she knew both Elysia and Kaname were too far away for her to see.

Senna followed the farfetch'd. Kaname held on to Bruteroot like his life depended on it.

"Are we getting closer?"kari asked as it was starting to get darker.

Rick nodded, slowing down as the dusty path turned to pavement and they finally reached the town.

Eyal lead them out of the forest quickly and efficiently. Soon they were all on their way to rejoining Kari and Rick in the Pokemon Center.

Senna looked up at the sky and noticed that it was starting to get dark. She wasn't sure if they should be traveling when the forest was compleatly black. "Pi pkka!(Elysia it's getting dark!) she called to the other Trainer.

Elysia turned to the Pikachu, listening to her urgent cries. She realized that Senna must be talking about how dark it was getting. Unless they could find a way to light the path, they may as well stay in the forest for the night.
"Senna? Do you think you could light the path with your electric type moves?" she asked.

Elysia didn't want to spend another night in the forest when Bruteroot needed the care from a Pokemon Centre.
