Legends of Kanto - A Kanto Region Adventure

Elysia had been up bright and early that morning and was well on her way to Pallet Town. She was an organized person(usually) and was about to begin her pokemon journey. Of course, she was as excited as anyone could be, though she didn't outright show it so as not to embarrass herself.
On her shoulder she carried a bag which contained almost everything she would need on her time on the road.
Elysia lived in Viridian City with her parents and though her mother still lived there, her father had taken off a few months back without telling anyone. To this day, her and her mother wondered where he had gone.

Despite the mystery behind it, Elysia never let it bother her. Instead she was now taking a leisurely stroll down Route 1, avoiding the patches of grass where wild pokemon could jump out from. Her unusual white hair was blowing in the soft breeze as she glanced up at the sky with her brown eyes.

Elysia watched as a few Pidgey flew past, a feather or two floating down to the ground. As she turned her attention back to her destination and entered the small town, Elysia couldn't help but wonder which pokemon she would pick.
There were three starters, Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur. If she was honest, she didn't really take to Bulbasaur, maybe it was because she didn't like its evolutions very much.
Squirtle and Charmander, now they were both cute, but she wasn't sure which one would suit her most.

Putting her thoughts aside for now, she focused on getting to Professor Oak's lab. Shading her eyes with one hand, she realized that the lab was on top of a small hill and that she could see it from where she was stood. Grinning she made her way past multiple houses, her white scarf blowing in the wind.

Elysia looks like this:

Draco let his gaurd down when Eevee had once again used Tail Whip and came charging in by useing Takle. "Dodge it and use Scratch!" Kari commanded. Draco did as he was told sort of he put his claws out in front of him to stop the Eevee and used Scratch on her.

"Evelyn leap over him and Tackle from behind!"

The Eevee did as she was told and just as she was about to run into the Charmander she leaped over the top. Landing on her front paws she nimbly span around on them before propelling herself into the Charmander's back using Tackle.

Elysia wondered how Kari and Draco would react to her spur of the moment strategy.

"Char?(Huh?)" Draco was confused at this action. This gave Kari an idea, "Draco use your tail!" she shouted. Draco swung his whole body around in order to use his tail as a weapon to knock the Eevee away from him. "Now use scratch!", the Charmander charged at the Eevee to use scratch yet again.

Neither Elysia or Evelyn had expected the Charmander to use his tail as a weapon and the Eevee was flung across the grass, landing on her side. She quickly got back up onto her paws though as the Charmander started charging towards her with another Scratch attack.
Elysia knew that she couldn't just charge head on and risk another hit, so she told Evelyn to stay where she was as Draco drew closer.

Just as the Charmander was about to reach her, Elysia shouted to use Tackle. The Eevee, using surprise as her weapon, then dived at Draco's belly, avoiding his claws because of her smaller size as she attempted to full body tackle him.

Draco was hit hard in his gut(if that's even possible) and was flung back and landed on his side. "Draco are you alright?!" Kari asked her Pokemon. "Char.(Yeah.)" Draco said as he tried to get up but fell to the ground unable to move. "Draco!" Kari cried out running over to her fainted Pokemon.

Evelyn wasn't much better than Draco. That hit he had given her with his tail really smarted.
The Eevee's one paw seemed to give out as she lost balance and toppled over. Seemingly happy with the win though she stopped trying to stay up and was soon lay exhausted on the ground, not defeated, but noticeably tired.
Elysia dashed over to her pokemon, quickly scooping her up into her arms, "You did well Evelyn." she smiled before turning to Kari, "Is Draco alright?"

Kari picked up her injured Pokemon, "He'll be ok. Some rest and he'll be fine. Thank you for the battle." Kari said as the orange pokemon started to wake up. "Oh draco you felling o-" "Char!!!" Draco growled spitting out small flames at his trainer. Kari fell sideway her face covered in soot. "OK?" she finnished with a cough.

Elysia smiled at Kari's reply before blinking at the small flames that the Charmander spat at his trainer. "We should probably ask the professor to heal them up." she replied, slightly concerned for both pokemon's welfare, "At least then we know we'll be safe outside of town."

"Eevee(I'm fine you know.)" protested Evelyn but Elysia asked the Professor to heal her anyway.

"Ok." Kari said as she got up. Draco was already with the Proffeser, "Charmander.(Just keep quiet and let him heal you.)" the Charmander said Evelyn. "at least we got some experiance from this, huh draco?" Kari asked hyer Pokemon. Draco just looked at her and turned away spitting out a small flame.(Like Charzard did in the first movie)

Evelyn just nodded at the Charmander's words before the Professor healed them both back up to perfect health.
"See? That wasn't so bad was it?" smiled Elysia as the Eevee climbed up her arm and onto her left shoulder. Evelyn's front legs clung onto the front whilst her back legs and tail dangled down behind. The Eevee seemed happy to be back with Elysia after their few moments of separation.

"So, Kari. Where are you headed next?" asked Elysia.

kari thought for a moment and couldn't think, "I'm not sure maybe Varidian City." she said as Draco was at her side once again. he just stared at her with a sirious look, "Charmander?(You have no idea of where you're going?)" he asked bluntly.

Reaching up to stroke Evelyn's head, Elysia smiled.
"I'm from Viridian City. I plan on going there first so that I can introduce Evelyn to my mom. She's such a worry wart you know?"
With a chuckle the young trainer headed for the laboratory door, "I'll show you the way if you like."

Kari laughed with excitment, "Come on Draco." she called to her Charmander. Draco sighed and walked towards the door. kari stopped when she passed her house, Elysia can we stop by my house so my mom won't worry?" she asked her new friend.

"Sure!" she smiled, going back a few steps to stop front of Kari's house. Evelyn glanced up at the building from her trainer's shoulder. The Eevee, being previously wild unlike Draco, had never actually been in a proper house before. In fact she was highly curious about the man-made buildings, hence the reason why she had sneaked into Professor Oak's laboratory in the first place.

Kari opened the door, "Mom, I'm home! And I got my first Pokemon." she said with excitment. her Mom peaked out from the kitchen and gave her daughter a hug, "What Pokemon did you get?" she asked. "I picked Charmander. Draco say hello."Kari said introducing her Pokemon to her Mom. Only Draco wasn't anywhere to be seen. "Where'd he go?" she asked looking around. "Oh, by the way this is Elysia." she said in a hurry trying to find her Pokemon.

"Pleased to meet you." smiled Elysia, "This is Evelyn."
The young trainer ruffled the fur on her Eevee's head before turning back to Kari, "Maybe he stayed outside when we walked in?" she suggested. Being unfamiliar with the pokemon meant that she didn't know the possible places that he would go.

Draco was in the kitchen, who know how no one spotted him. He was on the table sniffing at a stake that kari's Mom was about to cook. "Char!" he shouted sending out a small flame when he stopped the stake was well done. "Charmander.(Now i can eat it.)" Draco said with joy as he was about to take a large chomp.

"Eevee. Ee(Draco, you shouldn't really eat what isn't yours...)"
Evelyn had spotted the Charmander just before he cooked the steak. The Eevee hopped down off of Elysia's shoulder to try and stop Draco from doing something stupid.
Elysia soon realized the Charmander was there too. One Evelyn was gone from her shoulder she had immediately noticed what was going on.
"Kari...is he allowed to eat that?"

Kari looked in the kitchen, "I'm not so sure. Draco put that down!"she shouted running to grab the stake only to get a face full of flames. Kari fell back, "It doesn't listen to you well does he?" her Mom asked as Draco started eating the stake. "Draco spit that out you don't know what it'll do to your stomach!" kari said trying to get the cooked meat away from the Charmander. Drao smirked and opened his mouth to let go as Kari fell to the floor on her tush.

Elysia put her hands on her hips and Evelyn seemed to flash Draco a disapproving look.
"I don't understand why Draco would be disobedient like this. I mean, shouldn't he be glad that he was chosen by a trainer?" she sighed, speaking mostly to herself.

kari got up off hte floor, "Sorry about the stake Mom." she said looking down. "Oh don't worry about it i've got plenty more in the frige." she said with a smile. Draco just looked at Evelyn that said "Mind your own bussines." Kari was at the front door with Draco close behind her, I see you later Mom!" she said heading outside.

Elysia swiftly followed after Evelyn climbed back up onto her shoulder. The Eevee didn't look too happy about the look that the Charmander had given her, though she seemed to ignore it as they left the house.
"Bye"
Elysia waved to Kari's mother before politely shutting the front door behind her.

Kari sighed, "That was embbaressing. Draco what's the matter with you? You could of gotten hurt or who knows what else." she scolded her Pokemon. Usually Kari was laid back but the action that Draco showed that she needed to step up.

"Kari, maybe you should do some training with Draco?" suggested Elysia, Evelyn seemingly nodding in agreement.
"Maybe that way you could find out why he doesn't seem to want to listen to you."

The young trainer turned and began to lead the way down the street, heading for Route 1, since that was the nearest place that they would be able to train in without accidentally damaging someone's property.

"You right Elysia. Comeon draco lets go train." Kari said taking off. Draco sighed and slowly followed his trainer. After a while Kari spotted a Pidgey. "Draco go! Use Scratch!" she said. Draco just yawned and used growl instead, the Pidgey flinched at the growl and used Takle on Draco.
