The cat returns to the Night

Ren was already out of her release form. She had returned from the World of the Living after her battle with two Soul Reapers. The Arrancar was clutching her bleeding shoulder and her stomach which had started bleeding. "Darn it. I need to get this bleeding to stop." she fussed.

The chain went back to the point of oragin. Ren followed on where it was going and growled in realization of who it was. "What do you want, Nnoitora?" she asked in seething anger.

Noitora chucked at Ren, "Nothin' much. Just wanted to see how strong that attack of your's was. Honestly it was really weak, at this rate you both won't make it to the Espada's." he said with a smug grin as he caught his Zanpaku-to.

Shizu narrowed her eyes at the Espada. She didn't like it when people judged her without knowing anything about her or her abilities. And Nnoitra had done just that. Most other arrancar immediately thought her weak because she was smaller and younger than the others. This was probably the reason why she had gained such great control of her abilities, to prove them wrong.
But the fifth Espada had hit Ren's attack, not hers. Who was he to make judgement with no evidence?
Despite this, Shizu let it slide, deciding that there wouldn't be much point in getting into an argument about it.

Ren's hand shook in frustration and she stared hard at Nnoitora. She knew that Nnoitora was just trying to provok her and he would say that they diserved to be "Weak". Who was he to judge them?

Nnoitora smirked, "What's the matter girls? Too weak to fight back?" he asked mockingly as he tilted his head. Truthfully her didn't care what they did he just wanted to prove that he was stronger then them. Even if they are the fourth Espada's Fraccione.

"If you're so intent on fighting us, why don't you strike first," asked Shizu. Her question sounded sincere, but the words that followed were more of an imitation of Nnoitra's sneer.
"Or are you too weak?"

Shizu wasn't normally one to provoke a battle. Especially between supposed allies, but Nnoitra always seemed to be trying to prove he was better than everyone else. He was cocky and, despite being the fifth espada, the cockiness, Shizu knew, would be his eventual undoing.

This got on Nnoitora's nerves, "I'll show you weak, B****!"he roared as he launched his Zanpaku-to at Shizu.

Ren Sonidoed in front of Shizu blocking the double cresent shaped sword with her own Zanpaku-to. "Watch where you're aiming that thing!!" she shouted at the 5th Espada. Ren turned to Shizu, "If he's gonna fight us then we should probubly team up. What do you say?" she whispered.

The female Arrancar nearly smiled slightly as the fifth espada launched his blade. Nnoitra was so predictable.

Shizu just shrugged at Ren's suggestion, knowing that she could have easily blocked the blade, even if Ren hadn't been there. "Sure."

"S***!" Nnoitora shouted as he brought back his ZZanpaku-to. "It's not like if you attack together is going to help. Remember I have the strongest Hierro in Los Noches!"

"How many times does he have to say that? We get the point Bubblehead!!" Ren shouted as she sent a large Aura Shard at the 5th Espada. The Aura Shard looked like it was the size of a large dog. Ren figured that Nnoitora would be able to destroy it like the last time only now hopefuly shizu will attack Nnoitora somehow.

Shizu was once again silent, almost ignoring Nnoitra's boasting as she seemed to retreat back into an observing frame of mind.
However, she quickly snapped out of it once Ren sent another of her Aura Shards, this time a fairly large one, towards the fifth Espada. She created a few small feathers in her palm and flicked them in Nnoitra's direction. Each and every one missed, passing the Espada's left side and ending up behind him.

Nnoitora braced himself fo the attack of the feathers but they were now behind him. "Seem's like you missed." he said when he looked up he saw Ren's Aura Shard coming at him. "Tch." was all he said as he lifted his hand and swatted the large shard away.

Ren looked at Nnoitora in shock, "I guess I'll have to do bether then won't I?" she asked herself with a smirk on her face.

Shizu summoned a larger cluster of feathers. They swarmed together like bees, heading towards the fifth espada. Together, the hundreds of tiny feather blades looked like a black version of Byakuya Kuchiki's abilities
The female arrancar's blue eyes seemed to be reading Nnoitra's every move.

"You think a few feather's will stop me?!" Nnoitora shouted as he stuck out his tounge and prepared to use a Cero. I think I'll aim for Rock-girl he thought.

Ren stiared at the 5th Espada as he prepaired to use his Cero. "Now he's just being stupid." she muttered with a board look. She raised her hand high above her head her finger streatched out like claws and brrought it down quickly. At the tips of her fingers she released her own Cero at loked like light blue slash marks.

A Cero huh? she thought. Apparently we're not worth fighting properly.
Shizu directed the feathers so that they were close to the ground, almost skimming it with their sharp edges. The black cluster maneuvered across the Training Grounds, dodging the Cero's and still heading for the fifth Espada.

Nnoitora jumpped into the air and kicked off of the walls and pushed himself and dodged the black feathers. "You think that pathetic excuse for an attack is going top stop me?!" he shouted in question as he readied his hand for a punch.

"I didn't expect it to," she replied calmly, a hint in her voice seemed to indicate she couldn't care less whether it hit him or not.
Shizu wished she could somehow silently alert Ren so that she didn't accidentally find herself caught in her technique....

Not letting it bother her for now, she observed as the fifth Espada clenched his fists together, readying a punch. Surely he knew it would be useless to try and attack her with such physical techniques.

Ren moved higher into the sky so she wouldn't get caught up in Shizu's attack. Surely he knows that simply hitting her isn't going to help. What is he up to? she thought as she unsheathed her Zanpaku-to. Placing it in front of her like grimmjow's with a slight difference, placing her hand gently on the blade she made her body tense and go numb, "Harden, Tenshineko." she said in a calm voice.

Shizu waited for Nnoitra's move, glad that Ren had now moved away.
As the other Arrancar released her zanpakuto, Shizu shot her a look that she hoped would get her message across and tell her to stay there and don't interfere.
The fraccion then turned her attention back to the Espada, summoning a small amount of feathers that swirled gently around her like tiny black petals, ready for whatever move Nnoitra would pull next.

Nnoitora felt the SP rise higher coming from Ren. He smirked as he brought his foot out to stop himself and jumpped into the sky charging at Ren.

Ren caught the look that Shizu gave her and nodded then she saw Nnoitora coming at her. The winged Arrancar tuck the blue crystal-like wing in and started to fall to the ground.

Shizu sighed and turned around to face the two arrancar that were about to clash in mid-air. She sent the feathers that she had gathered around her flying towards the Espada. Unlike the rest of the feathers, these seemed to be in one long snaking line, with a gap of about thirty centimetres between each one. It zoomed up towards Nnoitra and snaked around his body, restricting his movement before Ren could get close.

At the moment when Shizu had summoned the feathers that now snaked around the espada, binding him (even if only temporarily), the other feathers that were scattered around the training ground had all dissipated like defeated Hollows.

Ren came close to the ground and opened her wings heading for Shizu. "What should we do? He's not going to stop untill we are severly beaten to a puld or we're dead." she said ending in a blunt tone.

Nnoitora felt himself stop, he looked down and saw the cluster of black feathers surrounding him. He growled as he struggled to get away from the feathers, "You think you can just keep me here!?" he shouted.

Shizu rolled her eyes at Nnoitra's shouts as she knew the ribbon would look invisible to him, bar the few feathers she used to control it.
She then turned to Ren, "That may be... but we cant let him get to us. Nnoitra is just cocky and rude, we can beat him if we just stay calm. It doesn't matter that he is an Espada and we are not because there are two of us to outsmart him."

Nnoitor had, had enough of the feathers and began to brake free from the black clister that was binding him. "Stupid feathers." he said while struggleing to get away.

Ren watched as Nnoitora was starting to break free. "We should come up with a plan to stop him." she said to the Arrancar beside her. True Nnoitora was strong but would he stand a chance against two Arrancars in their Released form?

Shizu sighed and crossed her arms as she realized what Ren probably wanted her to do. She was showing a trait that never usually surfaced: stubbornness.
"I refuse to release my zanpakuto because of a cocky Espada," she said, matter-of-factually, almost as if the mere thought of it disgusted her.

"I'm already in my releas form! We have to fight at full power or else we won't win. We need to prove to that arragent jerk that we are strong even if we are only Fracione."Ren argued. She didn't want to fight Nnoitora but if she didn't then Nnoitora would walk all over her.

"But what happens if we still cant defeat him at full power? Or if he releases his sword?" she replied, her voice apparently harboring no emotion.
"If we wish to prove we are strong we need to have confidence in our strength, even without a zanpakuto. I have no problem with you releasing Tenshineko, but in my personal opinion, it is foolish to use the strongest of your abilities without first exhausting the weakest to their full potential."

Shizu had only released Sairento Yozora once since becoming one of Ulquiorra's Fraccion, and that had been against a Shinigami with abilities that could rival a captains. She didn't wish to release it again for a reason so stupid as to prove something that didn't need to be proven.

Ren looked to the ground thinking about what Shizu had just said. She wanted to prove to everyone that she was strong and Shizu was right. She sighed and went back to her origanal form and closed her eyes, "You're right Shizu. I guess I'm kind of like Grimmjow and also not like him. But I want to be me not anyone else. I don't need Tenshineko to prove how strong I am, I'm strong enough to help you get Nnoitora's butt handed to him!" she said opening her eyes that had the burning disier to win.

Nnoitora had finnaly broken free from the feathers and felt the SP drop for a moment and then it went up again, possibly stronger then before. "What the H***?"
