IC: Wynter nervously walked up to the huge metal gate of the Almia Ranger Academy and waited in silence for it to slowely open. She stepped inside and the gate shut behind her with a loud, sharp "clang" that made her jump. She slowely walked up to the courtyard of the school, but she didn't approach the mod of new students like her scattered around. Instead, she plopped down on the sidelines and sighed. Wynter was very shy and almost afraid of other people, so it was no surprise she didnt want to get mixed ip in the crowd.

Taylor stepped in after Skylar and after shutting the door behind them got a good look around. There were computers everywhere as well as other electronic devices, some she had never even seen before. "Holy cow, Jess would have a feild day in here!" she exclaimed.

"You've got that right," laughed Skylar, imagining what Jessica's reaction would be if she were here right now. She wandered over to one of the computers and looked at it. It was stupidly high tech and she couldn't even find the button to turn it on. Skylar guessed that Jess would find it almost immediately and chuckled to herself.

"Hey, I think this is one of those 'styler chargers'!" Taylor exclaimed as the looked over the floating machine. "Theyre stationed around everywhere for Rangers who's stylers are about
to break!" she added with a smile.

Skylar grinned, "That'll come in handy then!"
She left the now dubbed 'ridiculously high-tech computer', making sure that her book was still in hand. She looked at the floating computer with interest. She had left her school styler on her desk but made a mental note to bring it with her next time she sneaked out.

"I've heard these things can do all kinds of crazy things. They can record the specific data of a ranger who uses one and then files it away in an archive where ranger information is stored. After that, operators can access it!" she stated.

"'Makes sense for you to know all about them then!" smiled Skylar.
All of a sudden there was a rustle in the corner of the room. Skylar looked up and realized there was a gap in the panels that made up the ceiling. She began to walk over to it, but froze as something came out of the gap.
Skylar yelped and shielded her head as whatever it was flew off out of a conveniently open window. Frowning, Skylar wandered over to the window.
"Who the heck leaves windows open at night?" she asked, half to Taylor and half to herself as she watched the bird Pokemon disappear into the darkness.

"Holy Miltank!" Taylor exclaimed as she stumbled backwards, surprised by all the noise. " Somebody probably came here before us and opened it." she grumbled.

Skylar frowned. "Do you reckon it was that kid who was caught?"

As she turned to say this to Taylor, something on the white windowsill caught her eye. Despite the darkness, it stood out against the paler colour. Skylar picked it up and looked at it. Another back feather, like the one she had found by the Pledge Stone.

"I bet you any a mount of my lunch money it was." Taylor nodded as she dusted herself off. "Hey, that's a pretty feather!" she exclaimed.

"Yea..." replied Skylar absent-mindedly as she glanced back out into the blackness of the night. She wondered if it could have been the same bird Pokemon from the stone... but what were the chances of that?
Skylar reached up and closed the window before turning back to Taylor, "So where to next?"
She wondered what the time was right now.

"Well, its almost midnight now. Actually no, it just turned one AM. What do you want to do?" Taylor asked.

"Perhaps we should go back," replied Skylar. "If we don't get any sleep then we're not gonna do very well in our classes."
She smiled before turning for the door.
"I just hope there aren't any more teachers lurking around."
