Hidden Myth and Cherry Blossom

A magpie hovered above her head. It seemed like it was frowning down at her.
Kakure just stared at her wrist. The pale green chain seemed to almost fade out of existence when she wasn't pulling at it, though it was always still there, just invisible to the naked eye.
"Urraca..." the blonde Arrancar looked up at the magpie flying above her, "Do you have any idea how to get it off....?"

Urraca sighed, "I still can't think of anything... It might just be a case of waiting for it to disappear completely."

Kakure glanced over at the Soul reaper on the other end of the chain. How the hell had she managed to get herself into such a mess yet again? Kakure always seemed to be in the wrong places at the wrong time, but this just took the biscuit.

Just then out of shear luck there was a bucket beside a house. Talk about lucky. Sakura thought as she went to grab the bucket. She didn't notice that there was someone in the home as she grabbed for the wooden pale.

Luckily for Sakura, Kakure was used to checking the finest details before executing a move... well, usually anyway. She quickly grabbed the Soul Reaper before the person inside the house saw her.
"Careful!" she hissed quietly, "There's someone in there, if they see or hear you they're not gonna be very happy."

Whilst holding Sakura back, the Arrancar nodded to Urraca who then flew over and gently lifted the pail. The magpie carried it upwards, out of sigh of anyone inside the home before she flew it over to the others.

Sakura felt herself being pulled back and looked at Karure and sighed at her word. She watch as her bird friend lifted the bucket without anyone seeing her and brought it back to them. "How about that outsmarted by a bird." she said stiffling a giggle.

Urraca could help but chuckle at the Soul Reaper's comment. She dropped the bucket into Kakure's arms.
"Right then Sakura. Back to the stream?" she asked with a smile as Urraca landed on her shoulder.

"Right let's get going."Sakura said not noticing that the chain was glowing fainter. She raced back to the stream and asked for the bucket. "This is going to be funny." she giggled.

Kakure realized that the chain was growing ever fainted as the last of the Hollow's power began to drain away. She hoped that Sakura wouldn't notice too soon and back out of the prank.
Once they were back at the stream Kakure handed Sakura the bucket and both her and Urraca watched as she filled it up.

*Time Skip to the Seretie*

"Now who to get?" Sakura asked herself trying to find a good target. She had somehow managed to get the arrancar inside the Seretei without anyone noticing. "Somke of these guys arn't that smart. Good thing the water's cold." she said with enthusiasm.

"Its a wonder why other Arrancar haven't attempted to get into the Seireitei if the security is this bad," mused Kakure out loud.

Not far away a male Soul Reaper was wandering around, his zanpakuto at his side and a bottle of sake in each hand. There were other Soul reaper's milling around the area, leaning up against walls with their own sake bottles. The first one took a swig from the bottle in his right hand, waving the one in his left around as he commented on how great the drink tasted. His words were slurred, easily showing that he was drunk already.

"Normally the securaty is tight. Is everyone having an off day?" she asked to herself. She watch the drunk with unblinking eyes like a cat. He had a Sake Bottle in each hand. "Boy this guy is drunk. It looks like he could throw up all over the place." she said moving her hands with what she was saying.

As Kakure watched the drunken Soul Reaper, he ended up swinging the bottle so much that he spilled half the drink everywhere.
"He must have either had a really bad day or a really good one," replied the Arrancar, Urraca just staring at him from her perch on Kakure's shoulder.

"Anyhow. Is he our target then?" asked the magpie suddenly.

Sakura slowly nodded keeping her eyes on the target. "We need a way to draw him in closer." she said trying to think of a way to get the Soul Reaper in closer. She couldn't think of much unless they could get a very pretty gir to draw him in.l

"Leave that to me," chuckled Kakure, selecting a new feather from Urraca.
"Kuroi fezā, Sakushi." she muttered before the feather dissipated into ash.

Kakure then set to silently weaving an illusion in front of the drunk Soul Reaper. She created a rather pretty looking female with blonde hair, much like her own actually. Kakure then nodded to Urraca, the magpie then flying down to where the female now was.
She began to flirt with the Soul Reaper before moving backwards, ever so slightly drawing the drunkard closer to Kakure and Sakura.

Sakura watch as the drunk was getting closer to them. With Urraca down there it look like he was flirting with the bird. The drunk kept stairing at the bird as if she was a human. "Looks like we have a pervert as well or something." she said wanting the Soul Reaper to come in even closer.

Kakure ust chuckled to herself as she continued to constantly weave and change the illusion, visible only to herself, Urraca and the drunk Soul Reaper.
He kept getting closer and closer to where her and Sakura were hidden from view. Kakure had to stifle her laughter at her partner and friend using her voice to flirt with the drunkard.

"Perfect." Sakura whispered with an evil grin. She took the bucket and poured it all on the drunk. That'll cool him off. she thought nodding at the success. She stiffled a giggle trying to keep quiet.

All of a sudden Kakure let up her illusion, the Soul Reaper now would only be able to see the magpie in front of him.
The Arrancars couldn't help but loudly burst out into laughter as the Soul Reaper was drenched in water. It didn't take him long to come back to his senses. The alcohol was still affecting him, but the water had shaken him out of the main brunt of his drunken-ness.

The drunk looked around to see nothing but the magpai. He looked up just as Sakura drew back to keep from view. "You don't think he saw us did you?" she asked laughing. "You'll pay for that onna!" he shoutd from behind the two girls. Sakura looked behind her and quickly grabbed Kakure's hand as the Soul reaper withdrew his Zanpakuto and brought it down at them.

Urraca quickly fluttered over to Kakure and with one flick of her wrist a pale green, almost completely transparent shield blocked the zanpakuto.
"Midori fezā, Rakkīshīrudo."

Kakure then dashed off with Sakura, Urraca not far behind.

Sakura laughed as the drunk chased after them. "Follow them, Shiku Kanetsu!(Heat seeker)" he shouted releasing his Zanpakuto. From the looks of it is looked like a Boomerang blade, the Soul Reaper threw it at the girls.

Kakure kept using Urraca's feathers to create Rakkīshīrudo's in an attempt to stop the boomerang-like zanpakuto from harming them. Sometimes the pale green shield would stop the attack completely, but at other times, it would immediately shatter, the ancient runes inscribed in the shield tumbling to the ground before dissipating into thin air.

"You need to get out of here, Kakure! if a sober Soul Reaper sees you then we're both dead." Sakura said not wanting her new friend to be in harms way. She knew that the chain was fully gone before they came into the Seretei but she didn't want to say anything to ruin thier fun.

"Don't worry about me Sakura. I'm used to hiding from Arrancars and Soul Reapers alike. I'll be fine." replied Kakure as she selected another feather from her magpie partner. Any normal person would have asked how Urraca had lost so many feathers and yet didn't seem to lose any at all.

Sakrua continued to run, "Also it's a good thing we found that soul reaper uniform. "Sorry if it offends you." she said looking back to see if the drunk was still chasing them. Not seeing him in site she slowed to a stop, "Where'd he go?" she asked catiously looking around.

"I don't mind. It's more fun when you hide. It's like playing spies," she laughed, always seeming to look on the bright side of things. Kakure glanced around as Sakura asked where the drunken Soul Reaper had gone. She couldn't see him either. Crud.
"I have no idea...."

Sakrua felt something wrap afound her neck as she was pushed into the wall. "Crud, the Zanpakuto was a distractio." she muttered as she tried to claw at what ever was holing her there. "You're not as dumb as you look." the drunk said tightening his grip on her neck. Sakura struggle to break free and was son gasping for air.
