Hidden Myth and Cherry Blossom

A magpie hovered above her head. It seemed like it was frowning down at her.
Kakure just stared at her wrist. The pale green chain seemed to almost fade out of existence when she wasn't pulling at it, though it was always still there, just invisible to the naked eye.
"Urraca..." the blonde Arrancar looked up at the magpie flying above her, "Do you have any idea how to get it off....?"

Urraca sighed, "I still can't think of anything... It might just be a case of waiting for it to disappear completely."

Kakure glanced over at the Soul reaper on the other end of the chain. How the hell had she managed to get herself into such a mess yet again? Kakure always seemed to be in the wrong places at the wrong time, but this just took the biscuit.

"Wait! If we kill the hollow what's gonna happen with the chain?!" Sakura asked the Arrancar. They had to think this through or esle they would be stuck like thids forever. There has to be a way for us to get rid of this chain. she thought. The monky Hollow screeched in anger and released a Cero.

They had carried on like this for a good few hours. Searching for the Hollow, but to no avail.
Soon enough, Kakure had sat down on the ground, Urraca returning not long after. The Arrancar couldn't care less if the Soul reaper wanted to keep going.

--Back in the Present... End Flashback--

"Uuughhh. I never knew a Hollow could be so hard to find."
As Sakura punched a nearby tree, Kakure just flopped down on the grass, her hand behind her head as she stared up at the sky. The tension from the position her hands were now in, made the chain become visible again. The pale green technique seemed to spark with some kind of energy.

"We have searched for hours and still haven't found that hollow." Sakura muttered taking her hand off the tree. They were only a few miles away from Kusagishi; the young Soul Reaper looked at the town with scared eyes. She wanted nothing more to do with it, then she heard someone screaming about a Hollow. "Come on!" she shouted heading for the town.

"Oh for-"
Kakure was yanked up off of the ground and dragged along behind Sakura. Luckily though, she caught up quickly.
"I hope this isn't another random Hollow and is actually the one we're looking for this time," she sighed.

Urraca blinked and swiftly followed the two as they headed towards the screams.

Sakura ran as fast as she could to the town when she heard a familiar sound, a Hooting laughter. "You won't get away this time!" she shouted leaping into the air with her Zanpakuto ready to slice it's head open. "It's the Soul Reaper!" "We're saved!" shouted the villagers.

"That bastard!" yelled Kakure, suddenly more enthusiastic about defeating it now she knew it was the right Hollow.
"Kakure!" yelled Urraca. She didn't care what the situation was. In her mind, there was still no need to loudly swear in front of people.

Kakure on the other hand just seemed to ignore her magpie friend's protests about her language. Instead she just chose a feather from her black and white body.
"Gurēfezā, Suchīruburēdo!"

The feather's pigmentation changed it into a grey colour. It glowed temporarily before lengthening and transforming into a sword once again.
Kakure's wings reappeared on her back as she swiftly headed straight for the offending Hollow. Her own sword was raised as she attempted to slice the Hollow into two.

Sakura also attemped to slice the hollow in haf but when they did the Hollow became leaves. "He made another copy?!" Sakura growled. in the distance on a roof top Monkey used another attack, "Slicing Fire!" he shouted as a fire erupted from his hands and aimed for Sakura. Sakura turned to late to see the flames coming at her she used her arms to protect her face.

Kakure didn't say anything to the pile of leaves that now littered the ground in front of them. She however, noticed the fire much quicker than Sakura and swiftly worked to counter it.
"Midori fezā, Rakkīshīrudo"
Quickly selecting a feather from Urraca, it turned green before glowing and expanding into a shield in front of Sakura.
The shield blocked the brunt of the attack but being as weak as it was, it quickly shattered and dissipated into the air.

Sakura saw that the fire was no longer coming towards her thinking she was safe she moved her arms from her face. This was a bad idea as soon as she moved her arms the shield had shattered, the fire had hit her in the face and across her arms. Reacting quickly she ripped off the sleeves of her Soul Reaper uniform and tore off her purple scarff; revealing her reptealian cat like head and her skinny arms with wide paw like hands.

Despite the Soul Reaper's odd appearance, kakure didn't seem to react to it. Instead, she was just highly disappointed in herself.
Kakure sighed, suddenly feeling rather useless. The only thing that she could successfully do was create illusions. And what use were they if you couldn't actually hurt anything with them.
Her shield was temperamental, her swordsmanship was weak at best, and her healing skills... well to put it mildly, they weren't the best in the world.

After a few seconds of contemplation, the Arrancar summoned Urraca closer and whispered something to her.
Nodding, the bird then flew off.

Sakura could hear the gasps from the villigers and tried to ignor them. Thinking quickly she pulled out her Zanpakuto, "Shine through the Clouds, Sunnaryuu!" she shouted swinging her Zanpakuto sending out a rainbow dragon to head for the Monkey Hollow.

After Urraca left, Kakure began to giggle quietly to herself, and it wasn't long until she whipped out a magpie feather from behind her back.
"Kuroi fezā, Sakushi!"

The feather's pigmentation didn't change, and it remained as jet black as a moonless night sky. The feather then dissipated into ash.

Quickly working her powers, she made Sakura's rainbow dragon look like a tiny butterfly. The way it flew made it look like it was going slower than it actually was, at the same time as making the attack look less scary and menacing.
Then, without warning, a giant black tunnel seemed to appear from nowhere behind the monkey hollow. It drew closer and closer to it before revealing itself as a giant beak.

Though the butterfly illusion was visible to everyone, the second illusion could only be seen by the Hollow. To everyone else, it just looked like a harmless magpie was drawing nearer to the Hollow, just with her beak wide open as if she was yawning.

Monkey Hollow turned when he noticed the ground suddenly turned darker and let out a terriffied screech. Sakura noticed nothing other than the Hollow was scared of something that she couldn't see. She took this oppertunity to vanquish the trouble making hollow. With the rainbow dragon closing in with it's jaws wide, it bit down on the Hollow crushing him into dust till there was nothing left.
