Hidden Myth and Cherry Blossom

A magpie hovered above her head. It seemed like it was frowning down at her.
Kakure just stared at her wrist. The pale green chain seemed to almost fade out of existence when she wasn't pulling at it, though it was always still there, just invisible to the naked eye.
"Urraca..." the blonde Arrancar looked up at the magpie flying above her, "Do you have any idea how to get it off....?"

Urraca sighed, "I still can't think of anything... It might just be a case of waiting for it to disappear completely."

Kakure glanced over at the Soul reaper on the other end of the chain. How the hell had she managed to get herself into such a mess yet again? Kakure always seemed to be in the wrong places at the wrong time, but this just took the biscuit.

Kakure immediately reacted by selecting a feather from Urraca. It's pigmentation changed to a pale grey colour.
"Gurēfezā, Suchīruburēdo!"

The feather began to glow, elongating before forming into a large blade that could easily match a zanpakuto in strength. Kakure wasted no time in leaping at the formerly drunken Soul Reaper, attempting to take him on whilst Urraca figured out how to release Sakura.

"Urgh, let go. You do realize that you attacking fellow Soul reapers right?" Sakura choaked to say as the drunks grip became even tighter. "The other girl isn't a problem. You on the other hand shouldn't even be here. What makes you think you belong here rather then in Kusagishi, eh?" the Drunk asked keeping his attention on the struggleing Soul Reaper.

"You'd better let her go right now otherwise I'm gonna pummel your ass into next week."
Kakure glared at the drunk Soul Reaper, realizing that he was picking on Sakura because of her appearance.
The Soul-Reaper-disguised-arrancar raised her blade, ready to strike the Soul Reaper if it meant he would stop harming Sakura.

"Ok you have some serious issus buddy." Sakrua chocked out.Finally she did something that was unsual for her to do. She kicked him where the sun doesn't shine, the guy let go of her but quickly tried to catch up to her. "You arn't going anywhere" he wheezed.

"Says who?" replied Kakure, in a calm voice unlike her usual own. She brought her blade down on the Soul Reaper's shoulder. Though she wasn't aiming to kill, her more violent side was certainly showing as the cut went deep. Despite all her fun and games, it was true that Kakure and Urraca were still hollows.. well, Arrancars at heart...

The drunk tried to defend himself with his Zanpakuto but remembered that it was fighting the Magpie. The other "Soul reaper's" Zanpakuto made contact with his arm he screamed in pain. "This guy talks big, but can't take a small cut?" Sakura questioned Kakure. She walked closly to the arrancer to keep her out of harms way.

Kakure shrugged, "Guess he's just a weakling."
She removed her blade from his shoulder. "Right, lets move before he decides that this small cut really isn't that bad."
The Arrancar had seemed to retain the more vicious aura as she leaned her blade on her left shoulder. Black and white wings appeared on her back as she prepared to take off. What had started as a small joke had suddenly turned into a serious affair with the drunken Soul Reaper.

Kakure wasn't willing to attempt to harm him more than she already had, though she wouldn't even admit this to Urraca if she asked. She motioned for the magpie to join her before she propelled herself into the air. No doubt some Soul Reapers would spot her as she attempted to leave the Seireitei, but she didn't particularly care right now. Kakure wouldn't even admit it to herself, but sometimes she scared herself whilst she was fighting. IT was one of the main reasons why she tried to avoid it, taking a more light-hearted and jokey view on life.

"I think you should head home, Arrancar." Sakura whispered to Kakure. She didn't want her new somewhat friend to get in trouble. "The link is gone there is no reason for you to stay here." she added looking away from the drunk Soul Reaper.

Kakure seemed to freeze at the words. All of a sudden her eyes were focused on the ground. This was what always happened. She'd meet someone....have fun... They'd become friends.... But no matter who it was. In the end they'd always send her away.. betray her...

A home is many things to different people. To some it is the place where their family are found. To others, its a place where they can truly feel safe and secure. To some.... it isn't even a place at all, but an object such as a car. Something that means more to them than any building ever could.

"What makes you think I have a 'home' to go to?" she whispered back, her magpie wings disappearing.

But Kakure doesn't have any of that. No place. No building. No object. Just herself and Urraca. Not even Las Noches is a home. Just a house. A place to hide and shelter from the dangers of the Soul Society and the World of the Living. Not a home. No. Las Noches could never be a home. Not to her. Not to Urraca.

Sakura let out a small quiet gasp to what Kakure had just said and looked down feeling ashamed for what she just said. "I'm sorry Kakure. I just don't want you to get hurt, also before coming here back in Kusagishi I didn't have a true home either. A home doesn't really have to be a building. A home is a place that make you happy and safe. Doesn't Urraca make you feel that way? As long as you have each other then you already have a home. Why don't we do something like this again? I had fun." Sakura said extending her hand for Kakure.

Urraca landed on her friend's shoulder. Kakure smiled slightly. Sakura was right. As long as she had Urraca, she would have a home, even if it wasn't a building, or a place.. or even an object.
"S-sure..." she replied, taking her new friend's hand.
