Working as a team... right?

It was cold. Kale didn't like the cold.

But he wasn't about to let his partner know that. He was still furious with her for making him look like a fool back in the town market, and he wasn't about to go and let her know about his discomfort. She would probably laugh at him, and Arceus knew that was the last thing he wanted. It was bad enough that she had made a fool out of him one time; two times, even in the face of wild, violent Pokemon, was unthinkable.

The Sandshrew tossed a glare behind him, where Ditrysia was fluttering. He had stated very clearly that they would keep at a distance of at least five yards away from each other, so that he didn't have to talk to her. The Butterfree, however, seemed to notice his attention and drew up her head.

"Kale," she said quietly, much to Kale's annoyance, "are you sure we should be exploring this place? We don't even have any experience fighting or anything, and I --"

"Oh, shut up." Kale sniffed audibly and turned back around. He crossed his arms and continued walking, ignoring his partner's quiet insistences that they turn around now. It can't be that dangerous. What a baby.

"They didnt come to ruin anything! They came to explore! Just like me!!" She spread her wings and used Double Team. "I wont let you hurt them any more than you already have!"

"Ruin its... what?!" Kale spurred indignantly up to his feet, fury giving him energy. He swayed on his feet for a second or two, but regained balance; then, with a furious glower, he walked toward the Luxray, his breathing ragged with exertion. "We were just here to explore!" he spat, stumbling. "What do you mean, 'ruin its beauty'?"

He was done talking, he roared out as he used Discharge

Ciriya winced as she and her copies were hit by the Discharge, causing all but the real one to fade from existance. The Swellow winced in pain as she spread her wings for the second time, and took to the air. Though she was injured, she was still swift on the wing. Ciriya dived down towards the Luxray. "If you wont listen to reason, then i'll have to defeat you first!" she screeched, using Aerial Ace as she headed towards the electic type.

Darkshock used Crunch against the Aerial Ace, even while raging out of control, he still had his expertise at fighting.

Ciriya used Mirror Move, and turning it into an Aerial Crunch, trying to break down Darkshock's defences.

Darkshock tried to dodge the fused attacks but had used his moves too soon from the giga impact and was hit head on.

Ciriya took her chance and used Double team again, followed by a nasy combination of Round and Aerial Ace, all of the copies singing and zooming towards the Luxray.

Darkshock endured the moves (no he dun know the move but you can still endure crap XD) waiting to be able to attack back.

The Swellow retreated to a safe distance then continued to use Round, the amount of copies all singing it at the same time, boosting its power.

The Luxray's eyes glowed as he searched for the real Swellow among the copies, when he did he used wild charge on her to stop the oncoming attacks.

[I dont see how that would help, because the copies are exactly the same as the real one, just when you touch them, they dissapear.]

Ciriya swiftly dodged the electric-cloaked Luxray as he attenpted to use Wild Charge on her. Being a bird of the air was an advantage when it came to physical attacks like that one. She continues to use Round as she flew.

(Well I'm going on Luxray's natural ability to find his prey/enemies even when hiding XD)

Darkshock growled as the attack kept hitting him. He was too weak to use discharge at this time so he needed to find a way to take down the copies quickly without leaving himself open.

(*shrugs* works for me)
"DarkShock, I can see that something is not right." She stopped her Round attack, hoping that the Luxray would listen. "Your eyes weren't red the last time we met."
She narrowed her own blue eyes but continued to hover above him so that she was out of danger for the most part.

He growled and watched the Swellow carefully. (I love it when pokemon do that after I hit them with an attack that needs to recharge XD)

(that made no sense to me but okay XD)

Ciriya closed her eyes and sighed, "Why wont you listen to me....."

(lol ya know when in the games you attack a pokemon and it might watch carefully instead of attack? XD I love it when they do that when I use a move like giga impact or hyper beam)

Darkshock saw his chance and used wild charge again.

[Ahh XD]

Ciriya's eyes snapped open as she heard the crackling of electricity as the Luxray leaped at her with a Wild Charge. She quickly used Double Team, and the Wild Charge hit a fake copy whilst the real one had moved somewhere else.

[And you would have to have jumped cuz im still in the air and for wild charge, the user cloaks themself in electricity then charges at the target soo i dont think thats classed as powerplaying]

Darkshock had still taken damage from the attack and struggled to keep himself standing.

All of the copies screeched loudly before landing on the ground and merging abck into one. "I swear on my life, that these two are no danger to the forest Darkshock. But thats not you in there is it?"

He growled and tried using wild charge again despite being so weak at the moment.

Ciriya closed her eyes and just stood there. She took the attack, bravely decding to not even try and move out of the way. She braced herself for the impact and even took the chance to furl her wings. XD

Darkshock wasn't able to make it all the way to her and fell to the ground, the attack fading as he collapsed.

Ciriya opened her eyes and half hopped, half flew over to the Luxray, thankful that he was weakened that much already. "Whats going on." she demanded, "Its not like im a stranger to you. You know I wouldnt lie."

He growled and looked at the Swellow with his glowing red eyes until he passed out.
