13th Division - Mission from Ukitake?

Kaori was lay, relaxing for once, on the grass. She was taking in the rather beautiful landscapes that you could find near the Thirteenth Division. This was a rare occurrence for her as, despite her love for peaceful and tranquil places, she was a rather hyperactive person at times.
She immediately sat up however, when a jet black butterfly hovered above her head. She outstretched her hand so it could land on her index finger and deliver its message.

"Alright!" she grinned after listening to the Jigokuchō's message. Though she was exited, she couldn't help wondering what mission her captain had in store for her and 5th Seat, Riku Nakushita.

The Hollow was pushed to the left by Ren before moving and charging back towards Riku.

Kaori used Shunpo to get herself back near Ren. This time, she swung her zanpakuto at the arrancar, deciding that enough was enough.

Ren quickly pulled out her Zanpaku-to, "Harden, Tenshineko!" she shouted releasing her Zanpaku-to. Her SP rising and her form was starting to change.

Riku felt the SP get higher, "What's going on?" she struggled to say.

Kaori immediately reacted by releasing her own zanpakuto
"Darkness reigns over, Kuraijikini Negatte."
She ran her hand along the flat side of the blade as it transformed. It looked as if it was surrounded in a black shadowy aura as her zanpakuto's blade became black in colour and split into two identical swords. She held one in each hand and leaped forwards, trying to catch Ren off guard whilst she transformed.

Ren brought her wings around her to protect herself from Kaori's attack.

Riku caught up with the Hollow and slashed it's head with her Zanpaku-to.

"Shadouburēdo."
Kaori swung her blade at Ren and multiple jet black, crescent shaped substances were directed towards Ren. [Sorta like Ichigo's Getsuga Tenshou]

The Hollow roared as it's head was slashed....

"Now that's ove with. Now for the Arrancar." Riku said. Looking at the two spirit that were fighting.

Ren felt the force of the attacks, "Is that all you got?" she asked taking a peek from out of her wings.

"Tsu no shadō"
The two blades of hers merged back into one single blade, it grew slightly longer than both of the smaller blades had been.
She then outstretched her hand,
"Hado Number Thirty-One, Shakkaho!"

The red ball of energy collided with Ren.... or rather Ren's wings and created a small explosion. Kaori used the cover to leap away, onto the roof of a nearby building.

Ren quickly used her Cero to stop the Soul Reaper's attack, and the Hado spell. Two down two to go. she thought

"What are you waiting for up there Arrancar?" she asked from the roof. "Cause im not coming to get you. I'll shoot from here!"
She outstretched her palm again, "Hado Number Thirty-Three, Sokatsui!"

Riku charged at Ren with her Zanpaku-to ready to attack.

Perfect. Ren thought as she dodged the Hado spell and charged at Riku.

Kaori rolled her eyes and Shunpo-ed over to the two charging individuals. She used Shadouburēdo again, though this time, the shadowy attack took the form of long tendrils, controlled by the way she swung her sword. They came at Ren from behind.

Riku stopped in her tracks and watched as Ren was about to get hit by Kaori's attack.

Ren looked at the Soul Reaper in confution the looked behind her and saw what was happening. She quickly turn around to stop the attack but was unable to. Ren grunted in pain as the attack struck her in her shoulder.

Kaori smirked as a second tendril snaked around the arrancar before attempting to strike once again. The Soul Reaper's sword movements seemed graceful and almost like a dance, much like the movement of the tendril itself.

Ren slashed the tendril off and sensed that another one was coming. She glanced behind her and indeed saw another one. I won't fall for the samething twice! she shouted in her head as she did a backflip. When she landed she grabbed at the side of her stomach wincing in pain,"Grr it still hasn't heald yet?" she asked herself.

Kaori blinked, wondering why the arrancar was suddenly clutching her stomach in pain. Who on earth is stupid enough to go searching for a fight when they're already injured? she thought to herself.

Riku charged once again at Ren, "You won't get away!" she shouted. She drew out her Zanpaku-to ready to attack Ren. Ren also charged at Riku, "Don't get cocky!!" she said her claws poised for the attack. There was a loud clash. Both the Soul Reaper and the Arrancar were on the oposit side of each other back to each other.

Kaori had witnessed the scene but hadn't moved. She waited to see what the result of the head on collision would be as nothing was clear yet...

Ren kneeled on the air cluching her shoulder and growled in pain. Riku looked back and then blood suddenly filled the air coing out from an unexpected person. Riku began to fall to the ground.

"Shi-"
Kaori's thoughts suddenly went through ways of preventing further injury to Riku as she fell. Suddenly she outstretched her arms and yelled; "Bakudo Number Thirty-Seven, Tsuriboshi!"
Between two buildings, a star shaped cushion of spiritual energy was formed and broke Riku's fall

Riku fell onto the coushun like thing and tried to keep her eyes open.

"Heh, see you later Soul Reaper."Ren said opening the graganta and going through it as it started to close.

Kaori just let the arrancar leave. She didn't care to win the battle right now, just as long as her fellow squad member was okay. She Flash Stepped down onto the Tsuriboshi to check Riku's injuries.
"Are you alright?"

"W-where is the Arrancar?" Riku asked while she coughed up blood. The wound was deep, it was a clean cut on her chest.

"She left using a garganta." replied Kaori, "Now shh. We need to do something about your wounds...."

Riku was still struggling to stay awake but listend to the 4th Seat, "Alright." she said finally closing her eyes to rest. This was the first time that anyone had tended to her wounds befor. Back then she had to fend for herself.

Kaori stopped the blood flow and tried to temporarily bind the wounds with fabric from her shihakushou. There was no way she would rip her haori, no matter the situation. She began to rack her brains, searching for the little bit of healing kido she had learned from a friend in the fourth division so that she could at least heal Riku so that she could easily return to the soul society without unnecessary pain from her injuries.
