Rai was walking back towards the 5th squad barracks from a meeting with the captains. Ugh...those meetings are brutal...can't they decide on anything without someone thinking differently..., he thought hanging his head. It's been some time since Hamamoto had him be the leader for 5th squad until Hina became well enough to lead or they appointed a new captain. What's with that old guy? Even when he's addressing someone else I feel as if he's staring at me..., he spat onto the ground, It's not like they could seriously be considering making me captain, Hina could easily defeat me, she's just gone psycho because of that bastard Aizen, he thought growling to himself.

"Third seat of 5th squad," Rai replied.

You can't really tell us what to do then can you? We're all third seats." Sakura said. Wxtending her hand to Rai, "I'm Sakura Kuraitsuki of Squad Seven Third Seat. It's nice to meet you." she said.

"Yea I know who you are," Baransugādo said, he is starting to sit back down.

"I actually can since 5th squad's captain betrayed us and our vice-captain isn't well enough to lead us," Rai said bluntly.

Ren hit Rai on the head, "So what?! You're the same rank as us so don't acting like you're the Captain!!" Sakura shouted.

Baransugādo was already asleep again.

Rai sighed, "Yes but I never see you going to the captain meetings, in any case, we all need to tend to our squads."

"Sigh. I hope Captain Kumormora is alright. Hisagi-san aswell. They were both close with Captain Tosen." Sakura said in saddness.

"Kumormora is fine, he's a tough egg to crack but this won't bother him too much." Baransugādo said, only half asleep.

"Yes and you know everyone so well you lazy bum," Rai said as he began walking towards the 5th squad barracks again.

"I should be heading back to Squad 7. See you later Baran." Sakura said walking off.

"Zzz" Baransugādo fell back asleep in his old spot.

Rai blinked and looked at Baran for a moment before shaking his head and disappearing around a corner.
