First Mission

Chronos sat down on the bench in front of his keyboard, "So, what do you think of them?" he asked Derek, the only other person in the room.

Derek was pacing back and forth across the room, "I think they should be good," he said, "But there's something about that Juliet girl that I just can't place."

"Hm... well tell me if you ever place it." he said. Just then a bell rang all throughout the manor. Both Chronos and Derek looked up at the thread of time. There was a small part unraveled, and one of the separated strands was glowing red. "Well, it looks like two of them get their first mission today," Chronos said, "Who do you want to take first?" he asked.

"Lets start with Chris, and that guy with the really long name," Derek said, "They should be a good start."

"Alright then, Charles Francis Martin Arthor Andrew Leonard the Fourth and Chris. Could you two please come down to the control room." Chronos said into an intercom that ran through the entire manor.

Once he was under a table near the crying lady, Chris, on the other hand, tried a different approach; he grabbed his airsoft gun and, as inconspicuously as he could, aimed at the man's leg. It was his plan to get the man's attention to the area where the girl was at, and once he saw her, he would forget about the fight. Chris grinned and fired.

Derek was shocked at how fast the two of them have moved into action. Even though each of them took different approaches, they both worked flawlessly and worked together perfectly. After Debs had talked to the guy, he started looking around. And when Chris shot the guy in the leg he might have almost fell to his knee but he turned around and saw the girl. Once he saw the girl he walked over to her and started talking to her. But not before Chris had gotten out the way. "Not bad not bad," he said to himself, "Now lets make sure everything goes correctly.

Debs went around a crowd and reapproached Derek from behind sliding to his right and standing next to him. " Things should be fixed now right? That wasn't too hard." Debs commented he found it quite simple actually Chris and himself had made very quick work of the situation he wondered if all the mission we're going to be this easy.

Chris grinned when the trio was together again. "Well, that was pretty easy." His grin turned to a frown, then though. "We shouldn't leave any evidence of our being here, right?" Chris started walking to where the man had been, crouched down and grabbed the orange BB he had dropped, just in time for the girl to stand up and run crying.

"Yea good thinking," Derek said. As he watched the girl away he checked his pocket watch, "Good job guys," he said, "Now lets go home." he then turned around and walked through the gateway back to the present.

" missione compiuta" Debs said happily as he followed along back to their own time. And I did it all in the time it took me to smoke one cigarette. he thought to himself as he plucked it from his mouth not going to leave it in the past he waited till they got to the present to leave it in an ash tray.

Chris grinned at the job well done. He and Debs worked well together, and as supernatural as it all was, it still seemed fairly normal to Chris for some reason. He grabbed his MP3 from his pocket, put his earphones on and pressed the on button.
