Breaking in Once Again.... (They must really get bored of this.)

Lauren Dayshade ran, thought not necessarily for her life. This wasn't the first time she had been caught on military premises, and certainly wouldn't be the last. But no matter how many times she sneaked in, they never seemed to catch her.
Lauren's black hair and long grey-black coat flowed out behind her as she dashed through the corridors of the Eastern Command headquarters. She dodged past a few military personnel, before getting cornered between two groups on either side of the corridor. Clapping her hands together, she created her own exit -a plain looking door- using alchemy.
She dashed through it, knowing that they would still try to chase her, but she didn't care. It all seemed like a game to her now. Clapping her hands again, she returned the wall to normal and made a break for the open city.
Lauren hadn't found anything useful in this latest break in, so she would be back fairly soon anyway to snoop around in someone else's office....

Lorelei also began to giggle and then laugh at the small boy who had ran past them. Suddenly, another memory came back to her. It was a very clear image of a small blond boy's face. He seemed very cheery, yet he had a mischievous air about him. Instead of disappearing though, it stayed in her mind. "Who.... Who is that?!?" she wondered, the sudden alarm she felt becoming evident on her face.

Shizu, not an observant person, didn't notice at all as Lauren pocketed her silver watch, the proof that she was a State Alchemist. "Erm.. I don't know really?" she shrugged and gave another laugh, finding it hard to stop her laughter once she had started.

Lauren shrugged, "I have no idea who he is. Why? Do you recognize him?"
The young alchemist thanked her lucky stars that Shizu wasn't very observant.

"No.... No not that boy. I just remembered.... Something or somebody." Lorelei said as she re-observed the image in her head.

"Oh. Well i'm sure you'll figure it out" Shizu smiled warmly. She then continued walking along, only to come to a stop a few steps later. She hadn't heard the familiar jangle of her pocket watch in her pocket as she walked. "Have you two seen my watch? It's gone!" she stuck her hand in her pocket to find nothing.

"Errm...."
Lauren blinked then pretended to be upset. She took the pocket watch out of her own pocket and held it up. It dangled from the chain, spinning around a few times.
"I'm sorry Shizu! I only took it because I really wanted to be a State Alchemist!"
Lauren was a fairly good actor and her voice made her sound as if she was on the verge of tears. "But I know i'm not good enough to be one!!"

Lorelei was still somewhat distracted by the image in her head, but she noticed that Lauren had begun to tear up and panicked a little. "Don't cry, I'm sure you would be an awesome state alchemist!" Lorelei offered.

"A-Ah! N-no! It's completely fine Lauren! You'd make a fantastic state alchemist!" Shizu panicked slightly. "Infact, you can keep it for a while! You'll prove yourself i know it" she was babbling again. Oh well.

Lauren sniffed. She had managed to get a few tears to fall, making the act all the more convincing. "You think so?" she asked quietly, as if she wasn't daring to believe what Shizu had said.

Lorelei continiued to panic a little more. She wasn't sure what to do. She didn't ven know what a State Alchemist was or what they did.

"Y-Yea! I'm positive!" She linked her arm with Lauren's and marched forwards. "Let's go! C'mon we'll cheer you up!" Shizu grinned cheerfully.

Lauren blinked in genuine surprise as she was marched forward. "O-okay..... Th-Thankyou Shizu...." She smiled before wiping away the tears that were still halfway down her face with her free arm.

"Hm," Adam had been watching them from the shop across the street, "So I was right, she does want to become an Alchemist."

"Um yeah! Maybe if we keep moving, you'll find something that will help you!" Lorelei said, still a little unsure. But, she knew that if you keep on moving forward, something would happen. Maybe it would benefit her, too.
