Magic RP: The Parker/Harkness Stoy

Mia walked along the streets she had called home since she was four, since she had been abandoned there. With her was her little sister Iruu. They were just out to take a walk and enjoy the scenery.

Iruu sat on Mia's shoulders, squealing in delight as butterflies fluttered by her face. "Mia-chan! Lets go play with the fishies at the pond!"

Lauren Harkness swooped overhead, kneeling on the back of Hæwen[Hai-wen], her giant bird friend. Instead of her usual attire, she was wearing a black shirt, along with black trousers and a long, dark blue trench coat that blew out behind her as she sped past.
A long tail was curled around her, the blue and green feathers on its tip, rested in her lap. Lauren gripped Hæwen's blue feathers to make sure she didn't fall off.
If it had been night time, you wouldn't have seen her on the back of the giant bird....

"Okay, we can go to the pond" Mia smiled. "Just don't fidget around so roughly, you'll break my neck, silly!" Mia laughed as her sister interacted with the butterflies.

If there was anything above he, she wouldnt see it because, with her sister onher shoulders, she couldn't tip her head backwards.

"Yaay!" Iruu cheered. Seeing the bluish speck in the sky she squinted. "Sissy whats that?" she almost fell off Mia's shoulders from leaning back to far.

"Woah, be more careful!" Mia said as she stumbled backwards to keep her sister from falling. She lifted her from her shoulders so she could get a good look at what Iruu was pointing out. "I can't tell from here Iruu, it's too far up." Mia's hidden natural curiosity was sparked as she watched the blue speck. "I wish it would come down a little farther so we could get a better look at it."

As if it could hear Mia, the blue speck began to descend, heading towards the pond.
"We'll land and you can rest up for a while." whispered Lauren to Hæwen.

"Ooh pretty bird!" Iruu cheered. "Lets go look at it sissy! C'mon! go go go!" The brown haired girl cheered

"Ok, ok!" Mia said as she started twoards the pond. She was excited about finding out what was going on, but she was also worried for her little sister.

As they arrived at the pond, Iruu hopped off of Mia's shoulders, the gravity bending with her so she landed perfectly. "Wow!" she grinned at the person and the bird whirling down from the sky.

Hæwen gracefully landed next to the crystal clear water of the pond and Lauren hopped off of her back and stood next to her, stroking part of her wing. "Ic þancian, woruldfréond," she smiled before walking over to the pond and bending down, cupping water in her hands and taking a drink.

Hæwen shook her feathers then joined Lauren by the pond, taking a long drink.

Mia pulled her sister into a bunch of trees and shrouded them both in darkness. "Wait, remember? We have to be very careful with strangers." Mia was always very cautious when her little sister and her were in a potentially dangerous situation, buther curiosity was getting the better of her.
"Wait here." Mia whispered, and she carefully tip-toed to the very edge of the shadows so she could get a better look at the newcomers.

"Weeheheheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" a yowl came out of the sky, although it sounded more like "Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeowww!" A cream she cat with three brown stripes across her back touched down, white feathered wings clamped on her back. "Iris, pleased to meet yah"

"Wow! A kitty!" Iruu toddled towards the winged cat, seeming to understand the meows of the creature. She obviously didn't understand or pay attention to a word her sister had just said.
(okee so lets say that no one but Iruu can understand what Iris is saying, And maybe Lauren because shes all naturey and crap XD)

[Lol, yea Lauren would understand because her element is nature.]

Lauren got to her feet and stared at the newcomers. She wondered if they had magic... or not.
She crossed her arms and flicked her tail, looking fairly epic all in black with a trench coat flowing out behind her.

After finishing her drink, Hæwen also looked at Iruu and detected Mia. She spread her wings to look menacing, just incase they were a threat.

"Iruu!" Mia hissed silently. "Stay still, you AND your strange cat friend!" Mia was NEVER impatient with Iruu unless it was important or if she felt they were in danger, which she did. Then Mia did a double take. "Strange cat friend....?" Mia thought to herself as she stayed in the shadows where the people couldn't she her. She attached the shadows over her sister and the cat so it appeared as if they had just disappeared.

Hæwen made a sharp but quiet screech, warning Lauren of someone else's presence
Lauren nodded quietly then scanned around for any clues as to where the other person might be.

Iruu looked up at the shadows encasing herself and Iris. "Well ain't that a drag? The sky's so pretty today. Mia-chaaaan! Turn the lights back on!" Hearing the screech, she peered through the shadows at the bird. "Look how pretty Iris!"

"Wowey. Wonder what kind of creature that is" the cat was after all, only a small kitten and didn't understand much of magic.

"IRUU. Hush." Mia hissed again, growing more impatient. She didn't want the others to be able to find them. "You need to stay quiet and DON'T MOVE." Mia herself stood even more still than a statue. She held the shadows in places, making sure that Iruu stayed unseen.

"Why are you hiding?" asked Lauren quietly. This was the first English she had spoken since landing. "I know someone is there, Hæwen can sense you."

"Silly Mia-chan! C'moooon! I wanna see the pretty bird!" Iris's eyes flashed a sudden jade green. She and Iruu were now outside of the barrier of shadows. "Cool!" The four year old grinned, hugging the cat. "Hullo there!" she trilled, turning to the Phoenix and its rider

Mia facepalmed. "Grrrrr....... Wait, how......? How did she break my shadow hold?" Mia watched her sister silently, staying in the concealment of the shadows.

"Hello..." replied Lauren quietly.
Hæwen relaxed slightly as Iruu came out from the shadows, as if sensing that she didn't mean any harm.

"What a pwetty biwd you have thewe!" Iruu grinned, her rper suddenly making her unable to say r's. "Whats youw name huh? I'm Iwuu!" she flashed a grin and two thumbs up, one pointing to her chest.

(Iruu is suddenly a guy now?.... XD)
Mia watched her sister carefully, starting to feel that there was no evident danger in the situation, but she wanted to be sure that Iruu was okay. She stayed in the shadows and watched the scene.

(I just laughed really loudly cause I didnt notice that before! XD)

"Im Lauren." she smiled, her tone was less guarded than before as she was beginning to see that the people Hæwen sensed meant no harm.
"This is Hæwen."
The bird dipped her head and released the menacing looking stance, standing normally and flicking her long tail.
Lauren flicked her own tail as if in reply.
