Battle One: Ellen vs. Hisana

"Now for the first battle in the tornament is... Ellen vs Hisana! This will be a three on three match; the victer shall continue on when all Pokemon are unable to battle." the Refferee said While Hisana aproched the battle areina. I have to play this smart, Ellen has a dark type, Psychic type, and an Electric/flying type. Hisana thought. "So looks like you'll be first, let's go! Rukia!" Hisana called out her Seel. Tossing the Pokeball into the air it clicked open and released the small white seal Pokemon, "Seel! (I'm ready for battle!)" she cried out.

"Switch to Thundershock!"

Once again, Lumi's immense speed worked to her advantage. She quickly flipped once more, her tail still in Iron Form as she shot a much less powerful beam of electricity at the blue Counter move.
The reflected beam was once again absorbed by Lumi's Motor Drive ability, enhancing her speed again.

Now that the Counter was used up, the Emolga used Thundershock again from close range.

Hisana growled in frustration, "There has to be a way to..." she sighed in defeat. "Ichigo let's show them that we won't go down easy! Sky Uppercut!" she shouted fisting the air. The Riolu let out a determained growl as he leapt into the air using Sky Uppercut.

The Emolga swiftly dodged it without even needing Ellen's command. Lumi's speed was so incredible now that she had moved out of the way mere milliseconds after the words 'Sky Uppercut' had come out of Hisana's mouth.

"Keep up the Thundershocks!" yelled Ellen, knowing that this battle would soon be over. "Don't let Ichigo catch you."

Lumi gave a short nod before she was off once again. She glided in seemingly random directions across the battlefield. She began her onslaught of electrical attacks, each one coming from a different direction mere moments apart. Soon one of them would hit. Ichigo couldn't outrun them forever.

Ichgo started dodging without being told. Left, right, forwards, backwards; Hisana knew that the Emotional Pokemon wouldn't survive this match, "Ichigo! Use Quick attack follow up with Focus Palm!" Ichigo growled in understanding and used Quick Attack trying to get closer to the speedy Emolga and used Focus Palm.

"Use Quick Attack to dodge!"

Ellen knew full well that even with his Quick Attack, Lumi was still immensely faster, she just wanted to prove that no matter what happened now, Ichigo had no way to beat Lumi. The Emolga kept spinning through the air, dodging the Riolu's attacks with the white light trailing behind her.

Ichigo watched the Flying/Electric Pokemon dodge his attack. "Ichigo after'em!"Hisana shouted. Ichigo nodded and ran as fast as he could to try to catch up with his opponant. "Use Sky Uppercut!"

"Iron Tail!"
The Emolga cheerfully countered the Sky Uppercut move with her Iron Tail. Her now metal tail collided with the Riolu's paw.

"Thundershock!"
Lumi then released another jolt of electricity whilst she was close to Ichigo.

Ichigo cried out in pain from the Thunderbolt, the blue pokemon soon started to fall to the ground. He was only a few feet in the air but he wasn't moveing, "Ichigo!" Hisana called to her Pokemon running into the battle feild. She leapt inot the air and caught her Pokemon in her arms, sliding across the ground and coming to a hault she looked at her Pokemon. Hisana smiled saddly, "You did amazing today." she said to her knocked out Pokemon. "Riolu is unable to battle! The victor is Emolga whitch means Ellen is the winner!" the Announcer shouted.

Ellen watched as Hisana ran out onto the battlefield. She smiled though when she saw that Ichigo was alright. Her smile turned into a huge grin when the announcer told the crowd that she had won.

She dashed out onto the battlefield, Lumi gliding into her arms. Ellen span around, hugging her Emolga. When she stopped spinning, she ruffled the fur on Lumi's head.
"You were great out there!" she smiled before turning and walking over to Hisana.

Lumi hopped up onto Ellen's shoulder as she held her hand out to the other trainer.
"That was a great battle!" she smiled. "Ichigo is very determined...."

Hisana placed Ichigo on the ground as he came to a little, "You were pretty amazing yourself, it took all three of my pokemon just to defeat Serina." she giggled and shook Ellen's hand. "Mah mah.(I won't lose the next time.)" Ichigo said to the Emolga grinning. "We just need to work hard to catch up. Maybe next time we'll win" Hisana said grinning.

Lumi just smiled at Ichigo, not at all worried about any future battles as she was far to carefree.

Ellen nodded. She was extremely proud of Serena today. All the training she had done beforehand to try and learn Magical Leaf had paid off.
