Returning to Las Noches

Shizu walked through the garganta into Las Noches. She had taken a shorter route so as not to run into many other arrancar. Shizu clutched her right arm with her left hand as she darted around looking for a place just to rest for a while without some random arrancar appearing.

Shizu found herself a nice corner and sat down, still clutching her injured arm. It wasn't useless, but it still hurt, not that she would say anything if anyone asked.
Instead of getting angry at losing the battle, she began to analyze what she had discovered about Raitoningu's bankai.

"Shizu Sayo." Replied the shorter arrancar, seperating another segment of orange before eating that too.

Ren took her apple back, "I'm Ren Zugaikotsu." she said befor taking a bite out of her apple.

She shrugged, "Nice ta meet ya, hey have either of you found a name like mine in the records?"

"Not in the records no," replied Shizu, noting that Hakurai had the same surname as Raitoningu. She seemed to stop to eat another orange segment, but then didn't carry on speaking afterwards.

Hakurai sighed, "Well tell me if ya do, lookin for someone," she said picking up the chef she tore the leg off and dragged him out of the kitchen.

"Well that was wird, is it just me or did she have the same last name as a Soul Reaper named Rai Yobidashi?" Ren asked totally confused.

Shizu simply nodded before eating another segment of orange.
"Yes."

"Why would an Espada have the same last name as a Soul Reaper?" Ren asked.

"She's not an Espada. In fact she's not even a Fraccion, at least not that I know of. Just a normal Arrancar. Even so, I still have no idea why their surnames would be the same, unless they were related."
Shizu was slowly eating all the pieces of orange she had. Currently, she now only had five segments left.

Ren took another bite out of her apple, "I ment to say arrancar not Espada. Is it even Possible for a Soul reaper and an Arrancar to be related?" she asked.

"Since most of us were originally human spirits, it's possible, yes. If they were related, her brother may have just been able to get into the Soul Society, whilst Hakurai herself became a Hollow and then an Arrancar."
Shizu had narrowed her orange down to three segments now.

"how did you become a Hollow Shizu?" Ren asked the Arrancar. Ren herself became a hollow first and after few years she became a Menos Grande. Ren had tried hard to keep herself as a human but failed and came to realize that she was no longer human.

Shizu froze for a second before calmly returning to eating her orange, now down to only two segments. Her past was a touchy subject that she hated to talk about, though she wouldn't admit it to anyone.
"I don't remember," she replied solemnly, knowing that Ren would expect an answer of some description.

"If you don't remember then it's ok. Not everyone can remember." Ren said thinking of when she was alive. She never really had any friends and she was always alone. So it didn't really matter to her.

Shizu didn't react to Ren's calm reply. She stayed silent as always.
Though she had lied to escape discussing her past, for some reason she didn't feel guilty. Instead she just felt betrayal as the memories she had tried so hard to forget washed over her.
Shizu sighed and stared at the ground as she thought.
