Zash stood on a large rock on the mountain side Clarent on his belt he shaded his eyes the sun blazed brightly over head. " Hurry up Wolf! Virgina and June are waiting." He called back to Wolf and jumped off the rock back onto the half made path.

Jake returned in front of them some how in a new suit and and new top hat on his head but the cane was no where to be seen.
" You son of a -" instantly Zash's voice couldn't be heard and Zash's head was thrown back and he let out a scream but held it togather and stayed on his feet blood poured from his nose and ears thou.

Wolf was shocked and caught of gaurd. He wanted to kill him while they had a chance! He'd seen something similar happen when they had an encounter with Athena.

" Why do they always go after me first!" Zash moaned. This was bad Jake was fresh and newly powered up Zash was hurt and was now carrying Virgina too. " Jessi I need you to take-" Zash was cut off by Jake's pain filled scream as Jessi grabbed him by the suit collar and raised him off the ground even thou Jessi was shorter he could still raise him pretty high. " Him on I guess." Zash finished that sentence unexpectingly

Wolf was very impressed by Jessi's attack. He looked for a place to set June but he was also expecting Jake to pull of one of his tricks so he also kept an eye up on the fight. Black aura branched off Bridgets hand as she prepared for an attack .

Jessi held him up and looked to Zash. " What do I do now?" Jessi asked. He had never been in complete control of fight before and he didn't think he had to kill Jake.
Jake looked at Jessi and hissed. " Now would be when you let me go." He suggested.
" Now's when you keep him just the way he is Jess." Zash interjected

Bridget wasn't going to attack yet or was even able to yet as it primed. A thing that seemed like a pitch black shadow of her hand just with razor sharp claws started to branch of of her arm.

Jake looked at Zash a minute and his eyes seemed distant again he whispered something but it was too quite for even Jessi with his super hearing could make out.
" What the heck is with your power?" Zash asked.
" If your friend here would removed his hand from my wind pipe I would gladly share.
Zash debated it a minute. " Fine but remember we just beat you and now Jessi is ten times quicker then you and he has magic." Zash gave Jessi a little nod and he let Jake hit the ground.

By then a ten foot long unholy looking claw had extended. Wolf set June down into the least uncofortable position he could then blinked as he saw the arm but went back to looking to Jake.

Zash was too busy focusing on Jake to notice any unholy arms. Jake fixed his suit collar. " Well then your ruffian friend should really be on a leash." Jake commented giving Jessi a distastful glare.
" Be careful how you talk about my son." Zash warned. Jessi's mouth almost dropped open Zash had never called him son before.
" Yes yes now what is it you want." Jake asked.
" Well you not trying to kill us would be good or maybe a little insight on your powers." Zash offered.
" Well as an honest man and a working man so I have to complete my work." Jake countered.

Wolf huffed, why did this guy present such a problem? He wished they could just be done with him but there was some intearagating to do. But the thing he wondered most was, "Wait, who hired you then?" he butted in.

Jake turned to him and smirked. " If I knew the face and name of all my employers I wouldn't need to be a mercenary now would I?"
Zash shrugged." He's got a point."

Wolf grunted. No further comment.

" Now your powers?" Zash questioned.
" What about them they are simply my nature defense not unlike your magic." Jake replied simpleifing it as much as possible.
Zash held a stare on him as thou that was all he needed to get him to crack.
Jessi squated and started to draw something in the sand.

Wolf and Bridget remained silent as this investagation went on.

Jake held his stare.
" Tell me it's name." Zash finally said.
" Hanuko or in english willpower." Jake replied.

Wolf thought he recognized the term but it didn't come to him.

" Sorry doesn't ring a bell but I can guess what the three powers of it are." Zash said dismissingly.
" How did you know there were three?" Jake asked dumbfounded.
Zash blinked. " How could I not? It was so easy to see them you saw them right Wolf." He said looked to Wolf for reassurence.

"Eh, it wasn't the most obvious trait." He muttered.

Zash shrugged.
Jake looked aw struck at Zash's reasoning then decided he must have had more knowledge on the topic then he was showing.
Zash seeing Jake recalm himself asked his final question. " Why were you after Bridget?" He asked and Jake's looked of complete aw returned. " H- How in Kalergon's name do you know this!?"

Wolf and Bridget were suprised in this new development. More Bridget than Wolf obviously, she couldn't think of what to say.

" Come on this one was very obvious." Zash rolled his eyes like he Jake was playing dumb but of course he was not. " threw out the whole fight you always had a straight line towards her and you were in control at almost all points in the fight you made it so you could dash there at anytime but I just happen to take control with my discovery of your power's weakness." Zash explained.
Jake was honestly stumped at this point he really didn't know how to react this green horn mage had just completely dissected his entire operation in a manner of minutes.

Bridget continued her awe. Wolf interuppted, "Why was he after Bridget.....?" He tried.

" If I knew that I wouldn't be asking I'm not a miracle worker man." Zash answered and looked at Jake.
Jake looked at the whole group in a complete mash of undescribeable aw and many other emotions at once. He looked at all of them in turn lingering on each for only a minute or two then finally rested his gaze on Zash. " There is a long deep hatred breed from my people and her's it is not uncommon I am given a job to assinate one of her kind."

Wolf kept a stare on him. Now making sure he wouldnt make a move for her.
Bridget knew about the past with the cages and khajits. But why her? And why such a high degree mercanary for a relitivley simple job?

Zash crossed his arms. " Well alot of us here aren't that good on cat people's history mind filling us in. "

Jake snorted. " If you would like to sit her for eons I would be glad to."
