Lost and freezing

Avia the staraptor, soared proudly through the sky. Suddenly a heavy snowfall set in, and she was lost. The great bird's left wing became sheeted with ice, and immediately she was sent down into a spiral. Eventually, she landed in the thick pillow of snow with a shiver. She then began to walk through the snow, hopefully she wouldn't freeze to death before someone discovered her.

Avia began to march up the river, checkin back, as usual, to see if her partener ws fine. Suddenly a pokemon came and confronted them, is was a snorunt.Avia stood her ground, what do you want? The pokemon didnt reply and sent out an icey wind.

Dusty took off, flying low just incase. When the Snorunt used Icy Wind, she fired a Fire Blast straight at the offending pokemon.

The snorunt flailed around, burnt by the flames. But he released another icey wind. Avia countered it using aerial ace to cut throuh the snow and land a good blow on the snorunt. The little pokemon fainted."Well that was easy," Avia said, adjusting the blue band on her wing. Luckily it had survived the heat.

Dusty smiled, "At least they wont be any trouble for us."
She landed and decided to walk with Avia again for a while.

Avia nodded and kept trudging along. She wondered if Jay wanted to make something happen in stead of her because she was out of ideas xD

Dusty watched the sky as she walked and noticed a change in the weather. "It looks like its going to start snowing again...."

"Ugh," complqined the bitds, tucking her wings even closer. The snow apways stuck to her feathers, which really bothered her.

"The quicker we get back, the better, but if the snow gets really bad, I'll fly above you to stop the brunt of it hitting your wings.." she smiled, whilst looking up at the sky.

"Thanks," she said, with a quick nod of her head.

"Youre welcome!" she grinned.
After a while of walking, it started snowing, but it wasnt heavy snow.. yet. Dusty continued to watch the sky, and didn't notice a sleep seed in the snow... until she almost tripped over it.
SHe picked up the seed and put it into her backpack, before re-arranging the PEcha Scarf around her neck.

"Good find," she complimented her partener."That could be useful." Hey by the way, who did you think could open the box?"

She shrugged, "A psychic type pokemon might be able to do it... But its worth a try anyways.. I'll only be wondering for years what was in it if we don't manage to open it."

"You've gor a point there," she said, shaking her feathers."Do you think we're close to Grassviel yet?"

"The snow seems to be stopping again, so i'd guess we're getting closer." she grinned.

"Finally!" she said wih a sigh of relief."I can't wait to get back to good old Grassviel."She smiled in a bird-like way.

Dusty laughed, "Those wings feeling any better?"

"A little better, but My feathers will probably take a couple days to regrow.." She said, trailing off at the feling of not being able to fly.

"In that case, you'd better hold on!"
She pushed herself from the ground with her powerful legs, and picked up Avia using her front claws. She headed upwards, higher into the sky, spinning around and having fun at the same time. After a few seconds she stopped and hovered in the air, still holding the Staraptor, being careful not to drop the injured bird as she spoke,
"If you spread your wings, It'll almost be like flying yourself."

[Lol yes, Flygon is big enough to do this. I checked XD I didnt compare weights though, so lets just pretend that youre not that heavy.]

Avia spread out her wings and closed her eyes, taking in every blow of air as they."Keep going, I hink I can see Grassviel from here!"

Dusty grinned and kept flying, feeling the breeze through her scales... She watched at the left the icy lands and began to draw neared to Grassveil.

Avia seemed to quicken her pace as they grew closer. She couldn't wait to see her home otwn once more.

Dusty dived downwards as they neared the town. She bagan to soar over it before preparing to land in the Town Square.
