Hanging in Laurel's room

Ripple bounced into laurels room and took off her bag. "Lets search on the internet" (LOL i highly doubt pokemon have the internet XD) She took the egg out of the bag and settled in an empty bed, wrapping blankets and hay around it. "Keep warm little one" she said as she bundled up the egg

[LOL yea i dont think they have internet. WELL anyhow i started another chapter of explorers of the night this morning]


Laurel did the same with her egg. Keeping it warm was their priority at the moment.

Ripple began chatting with Laurel but stopped abruptly as she heard a noise. crrrrrkk there it was. "Laurel do you hear that?" Ripple asked suspiciously

Laurel looked directly at the eggs... noticing that each one had an identical crack in them...
The snivy would have raised an eyebrow, had she got one. She sat and watched as they cracked a bit more.

Ripple watched transfixed as a ralts stepped out of the shell. Except this ralts head wasn't green and red. It was blue and orange. "Laurel.. Why aren't they green white and red?" she asked perplexed.
"ralts..." the pokemon who had hatched out of Ripples egg chimed in

A second Ralts, exactly the same as the other, blue, white and orange in colour, stepped out from the other egg. "I.. I think they are shiny Ralts...!" she smiled.

"ralts..."

"How adorable!" Ripple exclaimed. "Well we should name them shouldnt we?"

Laurel smiled. "Im gonna name this one Jay." she grinned, pointing to the female Ralts.

"I'll name this on Kaz" she said, laughing as the shiny ralts ran around in circled after figuring out that it could move. "Hi Kaz im Ripple" she said, waving towards the little pokemon

"Ripple..." Kaz said after blinking slowly at Ripple

"Kaz....Ripple...." squeaked Jay, repeating each of the names "...Jay..."

"Im Laurel." grinned the snivy.

"Laurel...." The baby Ralts bllinked.

"Jay.." Kaz replied, poking his twin sister. "What should we do with them? Well i mean i suppose we should teach them how to speak. They seem like fast learners."

In a matter of minutes Kaz was saying full sentences with the occasional help from Ripple and Laurel. "Kaz can speak real good now!" he said proud of himself. "You don't call yourself Kaz. When you talk about yourself you say 'I'" Ripple corrected the young pokemon. "Oohhh. I like doughnuts" Kaz grinned. Ripple had given him one since he had complained about being hungry

Jay has been mostly silent, but was learning from what Kaz was saying. "My name is Jay..." she smiled. The shiny ralts sat down and nibbled on an apple that Laurel had left on the table.

Laurel grinned and pointed to the apple. "And what's that?" she asked gently.

"An Apple!!" grinned the young pokemon.

Kaz ran ran around saying "My name is Kaz and i like doughnuts!!" Ripple laughed "Wow that was a stupid idea giving him a doughnut" she giggled as she watched the shiny ralts run around and around. " I think he has a sugar high"

Laurel giggled. Jay giggled telepathically, but stayed silently sat down.
"Shouldn't we go and report to the guildmaster, so that she knows who these two are. We dont know what sort of mischeif they could get up to!"

"Yes we should" Ripple grabbed Kaz's hand and led him to the Guildmasters door. "Sapphire Gold?" she called, knocking on the door.

Laurel picked up Jay and carried her to the Guildmaster's room.

Ripple continued to pound on the door

Sapphire Gold had been sleeping. She rose blearily at the knocking and opened the door. "What?"

"Well um.. Me and Laurel were out on an expedition in Shadowhue and we found these two eggs. We were going to show them to you so you could tell us what they were and then they hatched. Two twin shiny ralts'! This is Kaz" she pointed to the male ralts. "And thats Jay" she finished,pointing at the female ralts

Jay smiled and looked up at Sapphire Gold. As she looked up, you could see her big eyes from underneath the blue and orange hat-type thing that all ralts have XD

Laurel stayed silent as Ripple explained then spoke after she finished. "We were hoping we could look after them and maybe when theyre old enough, they could join the guild and become proper exploration team members."

"Um. Sure. They'll have to stay in your room(s), though, until they're old enough to be apprenticed. Where did you get the eggs?"

Ripple nodded vigorously. "Shadowhue" the glaceon repeated,answering the guildmaster's question

Jay repeated Ripple's word. "Shadowhue!!!"

"Did you just find it there, or was it from a job, or what?"
