First topic message reminder :

Sorren ran through the brush dodging trees in his path in split second intervals. this was one of his many ways to train, but this time it was more for fun, for the rush. that was once what someone told him flying was like. he saw a flash of purple in the brush and followed it to a clearing, then he saw it a rattatta, it bared it's fangs and attacked, sorren dodged and landed a kick square on it's head. he then used brick break to send it flying. it also sent a few trees on a downward coarse. he had managed to break all of three tree trunks with his attack, not much, considering the small size of the trees, but the noise was quite loud. Sorren climbed a taller tree to survey his surroundings and have a break.

Sharpeye shrugged, "Fair enough."
She sensed the relief in the short sigh though and wondered why he was so relieved. After all, it was only a question and it had been his idea in the first place. She then decided to ignore it and move on.

"wait, there is something i wanted to ask you." Sorren said quickly. he got up in a motion to stop the pidgeot from leaveing. "have you seen a flock of pidgy, pidgeoto, and pidgeot when you were traveling?"

The Pidgeot stopped, her wings mid-open. She turned back around to face the Combusken, furling her wings again before she spoke.
"I've seen a few of them," she replied, "Including the one I used to belong to. They're quite commonplace. Especially around here."
Sharpeye's own former flock traveled around, much like she did now, but Pidgey were mostly found here in Pecha Forest. Arowena didn't mind that Sorren had lost the battle, she was usually happy to answer whatever questions anyone threw at her.

"oh, i didn't know they were that commen here. i'm sorry. i knew i was never going to find her." the last bit sorren said under his breath. he waved a goodbye before turning around and leaving himself. the tears he shed did not want to be seen.

The Pidgeot tilted her head to the side in a way almost unique to birds. "Find who?" she asked gently, sensing the Combusken's sadness as he made to walk away. Sharpeye was fairly curious as to why he would want to know about flocks in the first place.... it sounded as if it was something to do with this 'her' that he had just mentioned though.

Sorren stoped. he didn't want to turn around, but he didn't want to keep his feelings bottled up any more. so he screemed...

Flaaaasssssshhhhhbaaaaaackkkk~

"Sorren, what is it like to breath fire?" Shara asked, the little pidgy smiling to her friend.

"that's a weird question Shara, hmm... it's like this warm feeling, like siting by a fire, but you are the fire, it doesn't hurt, so it feels kinda nice sometimes." Sorren said, the little torchick thinking about his answer. "my turn! what is it like to fly?!"

"flying, it's like a whole bunch of freedom. you are above the entire world, not held back by anything."

"sounds nice. when i evolve i'll be able to fly too! these little wings will grow big and i can soar above the skies with you!"

"uh... that sounds great!"

"she spared my feelings, so i could be happy and live in hope for a little longer. she was my best friend, but the moment my dad died, she left. her flock apparently didn't want to be anywhere near the scene of a murder. i never even got to say goodbye." Sorren said to no one in particular. he fell to his knees as the memories poured back. he didn't care anymore. he didn't care who saw him, or who herd him. he just cried.

The Pidgeot blinked at the Combusken's sudden breakdown. Her head tilted to the other side as he told her that 'she' was his best friend. Sharpeye couldn't help but wonder who 'she' really was, but instead she gently walked over to Sorren, putting a wing on his shoulder as she tried to comfort him. Whoever 'she' was, she must have been special to Sorren, for Arowena knew that someone with such determination as he had wouldn't break down like this without good reason.
