Josie makes her rounds

Josie hung her head as she trotted around the town.She sighed as she watched pokemon gleefuly move around Grassveil.She wondered when she would find a freind.Who am I kidding?No one wants to be freinds with an orphin.Orphins dont have parents to buy them gummis,orphins cant afford berries and scarfs,and orphins dont have homes you can lounge in. Josie's list of reasons why everyone hated orphins went on forever.At least she stopped crying in the middle of town.

"Good to know." Jake said, and he waited for the Quilava to answer.

"Im Josie." She said."Do you mind if I come with you to the guild?Ive never been there before."

"Sure!" smiled Dusty. "Come on then, lets not waste time."

Ripple bounced along beside them "I'm a member at the guild" she said happily, as she followed the,

Josie nodded in agreement with the Flygon.She smiled to the Glaceon,"Ok then.We should go."

Dusty nodded and led the way to the guild. She shouted down at the sentry, stating that Jacob and Josie were friends, before going in.

Josie fought back a giggle,and instead smiled,when Dusty yelled at the sentry post.

Ripple pranced into the guild door and waved her tail around the room."Check it out!" she said cheerily to the pokemon before her

Josie looked around excitedly."Woah!" she couldnt help but to blurt out woah.She turned around in every which way so she could see the guild from every angle and direction.

Dusty grinned then strolled over to the bulletin board and chose an outlaw mission. Apparantly a Starly had its amber tear stolen.

Ripple pranced over to see the board,not really intending to go out on a mission. SHe let out a small laugh "A Rhyperior got an orb of some sort stolen by a rattata"

Josie laughed,"Its probably level 1 or something."

"is that even possible?" she asked confusedly. "I thought Rhyperiors had to be at least level 33?" she said in a quiet voice

"Yes. It is impossible for a Rhyperior to be level 1 because it evolved from Rhydon which evolves from Rhyhorn at a certain level." Dusty pointed out.
"In other words, its probably a high level Rattata"

Ripple considered that for a moment. "Yes i suppose but Doesnt rattata evolve at level 16?" she asked

"It could be holding an everstone." she shrugged, putting the outlaw request in her treasure bag.

Josie figured Dusty was right."Enough about the rattata,what are those boards with messages on them?"

"Oh these?" Ripple said motioning towards the boards behind her."These are mission boards! The members of the guilds form exploration groups and then the groups go on missions other pokemon post on these boards!" she explained enthusiastically

Josie eyed them curiously."What kind of missions?" she asked .She began to walk up to the boards to get a closer look.

"Some are just as easy as finding an item someone wants, but some are taking down powerful outlaws."

Josie remembered watching other pokemon be mugged.She sighed,"Oh.Well,this place is cool!"

"Tell me about it!" grinned Dusty, "I used to train here when i was still a Trapinch. I evolved into Vibrava just before i graduated and then into a Flygon soon after. In a way, i sorta miss living here. But im an independant team now... so yea..."

Josie imagened living in this place.She wondered what it was like to stay with the other guild members,"Whats it like living here?I mean with so many other pokemon here..."

"Its awesome." she grinned. "Everyone is so enjoyable to be around. And if your ever feeling the slightest bit down there is always someone to cheer you up."

Josie thought about how it would feel to be surronded by freinds.She walked around the guild with awe.She felt kind of snopy asking all these questions,so she changed the subject,"Well I should get going,I need to stock my house with apples again." she waved goodbye to everyone and trotted downtown to buy some apples.
