Josie makes her rounds

Josie hung her head as she trotted around the town.She sighed as she watched pokemon gleefuly move around Grassveil.She wondered when she would find a freind.Who am I kidding?No one wants to be freinds with an orphin.Orphins dont have parents to buy them gummis,orphins cant afford berries and scarfs,and orphins dont have homes you can lounge in. Josie's list of reasons why everyone hated orphins went on forever.At least she stopped crying in the middle of town.

Ripple cheerily stepped out of Tobi's Shop."Hey! You look lonely" she said to the Quilava."Dont you have something to do?" she asked the sad looking creature

Dusty plodded through the bustling town. Not wanting to whip up small sandstorms with her wings in the middle of the square. She noticed Ripple and the crying Quilava, and walked over to them.

Josie sighed,"Nope"she hung her head.

Ripple tilted her head "Well theres never nothing to do!" she said."You can always tramp through the forest like an explorer! and theres no limit to the number of times you can run around wit outlaws!" Ripple giggled

"Is everything alright?" asked Dusty.

Josie considered it,"Yeah,but the only problem is no one wants to be freinds with an orphin." her fire was blue,due to her special power called,"emotional flame" where her fire represented her feelings.

The glaceon tilted her head "Even though I believe its strange that you have no friends,you dont need any to have fun!" she said.

[sorry but you cant make up abilities and stuff. Josie. A quilava's flames cant change colour.]

Josie thought for a moment about it."I guess your right." she turned around and said,"Thanks for telling me.I guess i'll go to the woods." she then started to walk through the town,not stoping once to think about her unkown past.

Jake walked through the town, the stalls next to him bustling with activity. "Oh, why did I lose that map?" he groaned. "Where in the world is the guild?" he wondered aloud. He kept walking, and looked down in frustration, not stopping to look out for the Quilava that was in his way. Too late, the Oshawott looked up, tripped on a rock, and tumbled into the Quilava.

Josie fell down with a bam.She brushed the dirt off her."Watch where your go-" she froze when she looked up.She jumped up to her feet and backed away slowly.Oh great,a water type!,she thought.Josie quickly said,"Are you ok?",not wanting to get splashed.

Jake rubbed his head, which was giving a tiny red shade in a circle. "Ow, ow..." he muttered. When he saw the Quilava jump back in fear, he asked, "What's wrong? I don't bite, you know!" he said humorously. "Sorry about that, I wasn't looking. Sorry." he quickly apologized. He wondered if he should ask this Pokemon where was the guild. It would be a good idea, but what if it doesn't know?

OOC: Jake doesn't know what gender Josie is...XD

Dusty watched Josie leave then saw the Oshawott crash into her. She padded over to see if both pokemon were okay.

Josie,not wanting to be water gunned,said,"No,its fine.Really." she brushed dirt off her and remembered her idea,"Oh right!Im going to the forest!" she waved to the Flygon and the Oshawott.

Dusty shrugged then waved her off. "Good Luck!"

"Oh, wait!" Jake said. "I, uh, wanted to ask you something. Do you know where the Guild is?" The Oshawott thought he saw a flash of fear in the Quilava's eyes.

OOC: Come on, something crisis-ish happen!

Josie heard the Oshawott's voice,"Its,um,over th-h-at wayyyy." she trembled with fear over the small water type.

"Oh, thanks." Jake nodded in thanks, then padded in the direction that the Quilava pointed. Then, he spun around, and inquired, "Why do you look at me as if I'll blast you off into space? Or as if I was some bomb waiting to explode?" He was really curious about it.

Dusty waited for Josie's answer even though everyone else was ignoring her presence

She smiled.Maybe water types wernt so bad."Your welcome." it was the first time she had smiled,since she could ever remember.

Jake smiled in response, then went on to the path to the Guild. Then he noticed the Flygon. "Oh, hi there!" he greeted. He didn't want to act mean and get swept away in a sandstorm, so he put on his best smile, and tried to hide the fear that was glinting in his eyes.

"Hello!" she smiled, "I dont bite, dont worry. " she winked, noticing the fearful glint in Jake's eyes. "I'll walk you to the guild if you like. I need to go there myself to check the bulletin boards"

"Oh, OK. Lead the way!" Jake said, the fear fading away. "Oh, uh, um, Quilava? Sorry, I don't know your name, do you wanna come too?" he asked the Quilava nicely. "By the way, I'm Jacob, but you can call me Jake." he added cheerfully.

"Im Dusty." she replied, before waiting for the Quilava to answer.
