Exploring Unknown Lands - Part 2

Ciriya woke early in the morning, as most birds did. She stretched her wings then looked around. Yes. It waasnt a dream, they were still in the forest they had reached the night before. But the leaved werent glowing as before.... It was as if the energy had gone. The Swellow however, knew it hadnt, because she could still feel it. She shrugged, Maybe its just more powerful at night...

Her thoughts wandered back to the night before as she walked over to wake Roman. She remembered the playful giggle she had heard, and wondered what pokemon had been watching them....

(Celebi? Thats the first thing that came to mind lol)
Roman blinked open his eyes, his mouth stretching in a large yawn. "Onwards!" he grinned, leaping to his paws. He began to study the forest with a great intensity. "what makes it tick?" he murmured. And what was the pokemon...

(Right on I planned for Celebi to be in the Mysterious Grove before i even created the forum for it)

Ciriya jumped backwards slightly as the Arcanine lept to his paws. But she took off shortly after, following her new Leader.
After a while of silence and scouting around, Ciriya decided to mention the experiences from last night.
"So what do you think of this forest then? Wherever I go, I seem to sense this... thise pwoerful energy... And I dont understand why..."

(YUSS)
"As do I" the arcanine spoke quietly,sniffing a leaf. "I feel that is comes from something more then a pokemon. Something stronger.." (Lol that unexpectedly could tie in my plot~ XD)

Ciriya nodded, "Maybe the energy just comes from the forest itself....."

He shook his head in confusion "No its not that either..." he growled in frustration. "Well lets keep going" he grinned

The Swellow nodded then flew on ahead. She continued to wonder where the strange energy came from.

The Arcanine dashed after his partner, following the shadow she cast on the ground. Unbeknownst to him a rustle in the leaves accompanied by a giggle announced the presence of a certain pokemon.

The pokemon giggled again, before loosing an array of deadly leaves towards Roman.
Ciriya turned and saw the leaves, quickly using Aerial Ace to slice through them before they could hurt her partner.

Letting out a yip of shock Roman sent a silent thank you to his partner. "Who goes there?" he growled

The pokemon giggled again then zoomed out from the trees, twirling around as she flew past them. Instead of the normal healthy green, the pokemon's fur(?) was a lilac colour, and the bits that would normally have been dark green, were a deeper purple. The blue tips of her antennae remained, but the eyes..... Her eyes were no longer the pretty pale blue they should be, but a dark, deep purple, almost black.

"Its a Celebi!" chirruped Ciriya, thinking back to all the times she had read about legendary pokemon, "Though I've never heard of one with this colouring before..."

Roman's brow furrowed "Thats not the right coloring for a shiny. What is it?" he barked, keeping his eyes on the Celebi at all times

"I dont know!" she admitted, staring at the odd creature.
The Celebi made an odd shrieking noise as it summoned a Shadow ball. She fired it at Ciriya, who was closest. The Swellow quickly used Mirror Move to counter it, but instead of Shadow Ball, an Energy Ball formed in her claws. She blinked in surprise, but fired it anyways, making sure that no one got hurt.

Roman shot off a fire blast as a warning rather then an attack. "Stay back Celebi i don't wish to hurt you!"

Thats not TRUE!! she screeched telepathically, her voice reaching out across the forest, making it seem like time stood still as all the native pokemon listened to her shrieks. You ALL want to hurt me, you're ALL hurting me!!!
Celebi surrounded herself with Magical Leaf, and then fired them at both Roman and Ciriya.

Roman burnt the leaves to crisps with his Fire Blast but that wasn't what was worrying him. "Celebi Whats wrong? Why are your colors different?"

The Celebi ignored him and shrieked again. Her body seemed to become surrounded in a dark aura. She used Water Pulse, aiming at Roman. Ciriya, having dodged the Magical Leaf, leaving Roman to burn it, dived in front of the attack, knowing that it was super effective on the Arcanine.
She sank to the ground, and tried to pull herself up so that she could brace herself for the next attack. Celebi didnt give her this chance, and immediately used Shadow Ball again, this time towards the Swellow.

Roman roared in anger, embers flaring off of his fur. He used Fire Blast, his eyes ablaze with fury. "Its as if shes being brain washed" he woofed. "Or mind controlled..."

Celebi hissed as she realised that she couldnt avoid the Fire Blast. She ended up landing in a soft patch of grass. She shook her head then tested her wings. They were fine so she took off again.

Ciriya got to her feet after recieving the Shadow Ball. She ruffled her feathers, then used Aerial Ace.

Growing tired of using the same move, Roman used Fire blast one last time, hoping the Celebi would fall from the air once more so he could use Extremespeed. "Are you okay Ciriya?"

"I'm fine..." she replied. Though she was lying, because she actually felt drained of her energy.

After the Aerial Ace, Celebi was hit by another Fire Blast, and then Roman's Extremespeed.
The legendary pokemon tried to get back into the air, but only succeeded in rising a few inches off the ground.

"Quit this!" Roman roared,placing two broad paws on the pokemons chest after pushing her back towards the ground. "Celebi grow some common sense!" he looked cool and collected but his eyes betrayed his exasperated mood

Ciriya fluttered over, landing next to Roman.

Celebi struggled under Roman's paws, her deep purple eyes glaring up at the Arcanine. You're all wrong. You're all bad! You're all Evil!!!
She screeched the words in her own head, and every other mind in the forest.

Roman didnt know what he could do. "Leave these pokemon in peace and I will let you go" he asid, gritting his teeth in helplessness

"You're the intruders here. You're the ones disturbing the peace!!" she hissed, out loud aswell as in both of their heads.
