Hello, could we get a paramedic here?

Kale was jubliant.
Ecstatic.
Excessively giddy, even.

He was so giddy that he didn't take notice of the stares that were directed his way, as he pranced about on the streets of Grassveil Town, whooping and clapping his paws together. "The guild," he kept saying, his voice interrupted by his bouts of laughter, "I got into the guild!"

Indeed, the Sandshrew was so drunk on happiness that he paid no attention to his partner Ditrysia, who was hovering a few feet behind him. The Butterfree's head was lowered and her antennae drooping, as though she was trying to shrink in on herself. "Kale," she whispered, her eyes roaming about the lines of merchant stalls, "could you calm down? You're making a scene."

"I got in, I got in!"

Ditrysia sighed, forlorn. This was going to be harder than she thought.

"Trust, huh?" It was easier said than done, to be honest, but there was truth in Nightshade's words. Ditrysia had partnered up with Kale, which meant that she had been ready enough to entrust him with her life. It shouldn't change just because the Sandshrew had acted unfavorably in the crowd. "I... suppose," she said, still reluctant. "I'll try to follow your advice, Nightshade. Thank you."

She looked at Nightshade, sympathetic. "It is a little scary at first," she admitted, thinking back to Team Assault's sign-up only this morning. "But once you get it done and over with, it's a great feeling." Unless you find that your partner is like Kale, she thought cynically, but did not voice her thoughts.

Nightshade smiled, Youre welcome."

"I bet it is a wonderful feeling when you finally manage to sign up." she agreed, "But I think i'll leave it a little longer anyway."

"Well, whatever you choose. When you do join the guild though, please do come and tell us... or, er, at least tell me. Kale might try to strangle you if you found out." Ditri chuckled, grinning. "Or, you can tell him, and then give him a lecture about how your partner or teammates are so much more well-behaved than him. That would be quite a scene to behold."

Nightshade laughed, imagining the scene. "I'll remember that. But hopefully, Kale will already be a much better partner to you by the time I join the guild."

"Well, I'll see if I can whip him into shape," the Butterfree laughed, loosening up. "I'll try to do that as fast as possible so that you can join the guild in a heartbeat." She winked at Nightshade.

Nightshade grinned and ruffled her feathers. She cocked her head to the side slightly as she heard noises outside. They sounded like someone was cheering. "Wanna check it out?" she asked, nodding towards the veil of vines that was the door.

Ditri turned her head towards the noise, confused. She hadn't seen anybody here when they had arrived... so when did these other Pokemon come? It hadn't been too long ago that Butterfree and Murkrow had come, and besides that Ditri herself had looked outside and saw nothing but nature. "Yeah," she replied, distinctly curious. "I wonder what's going on."

The Murkrow grinned and fluttered out of the house, landing on the branch outside. She waited for Ditrysia. "Something must be going on in the town." she cawed, spreading her wings again as she prepared to fly into Grassveil.

"The sound carries that far?" Ditri poked her head out of the tangle of vines and looked about. When she couldn't see anything in the immediate vicinity, she fluttered out of the house and hovered just above Nightshade, still scanning the area. "Must be a pretty big commotion. Let's go check it out."

Nightshade nodded. "Grassveil isnt actually as far away as you might think."
She leaped into the air and flew off towards the town.
Once she got there, she landed in the town centre to find that there were three pokemon, performing, using water. One was a Milotic, one was a Medicham, and the other a Squirtle.
The Squirtle was using water gun to spary water into the air, and the Medicham was using her psychic abilities to form the water into bubbles. The Milotic was gracefully weaving through the water, performing all sorts of moves.
There was a small bag at their feet with poke in it.
A rather big crowd had gathered to watch them.

Ditri followed dutifully behind Nightshade, her curiosity growing more and more as they neared the town. When they landed at the sight of the commotion, her breath caught into her lungs and she stared openly at the performers, awe making her eyes bigger than usual. "Wow," she muttered, half of her exclamation a gasp, "this is amazing." She turned to Nightshade, bouncing excitedly. "Who are they? Are they a traveling group? Oh, they're amazing!"

(I think so XD yea.)

Nightshade grinned as she hovered above the crowd. "Yes. They are a travelling group. And very skilled at what they do. They havent visited Grassveil in a long time."
She watched as the Milotic gracefully twisted and turned, changing the angle her scales were seen from, and making her tail appear to be hundreds of different colours.

"A long time, huh?" Ditri's eyes positively shimmered as she watched the performers, chiefly Milotic. "I actually have never seen them before, and I've lived in Grassveil all my life... huh. I must have stayed home more than I thought." But none of that really mattered now, and as time passed the Butterfree found herself joining the general crowd in their cheers.

"They're so amazing!" she shouted, finding that her normal speaking voice couldn't be heard above the clamor. "I wish I could perform as well as they do."

Nightshade chuckled, "If you did, you'd have to do something other than water."

As the performance reached its climax, the Milotic leaped out from the water and cloaked herself in water using Aqua Ring as she gracefully slithered to the ground. The Medicham formed the water into droplets of rain, focused above all three of them, then let it go. Then all three performers bowed to the crowd as the rain reflected the sun's rays, creating a faint rainbow. It lasted for a few seconds, before the rain stopped.

Ditri laughed. "Yeah," she said, "I guess so. My wings would probably get ruined if they got that wet." She fell silent then, watching the performance until it ended. When the rainbow shimmered in the air, she looked up and giggled out of sheer joy; then, on an impulse, she floated up into the air to join the water droplets, closing her eyes as the rain fell onto her face.

Nightshade smiled as the Butterfree went and hovered in the rain.
The traveling performers, collected the bag of poke then bowed again saying that they'd be staying in the guild if anyone wanted to ask them anything.

"The guild?"

Ditri landed beside Nightshade, her cheeks a dusted with red. She didn't think that she had made that much of a scene, but the few Pokemon that were staring up at her when she looked down... her blush became deeper just thinking about it. "They're really staying at the guild? That's great! I guess it's a good thing that Kale and I joined earlier today, huh? Maybe I can go ask them some questions and hang out with them later on." Her eyes shone with the prospect, and she made a wild grab for one of the Murkrow's wings.

"Nightshade, will you come with me? We could meet those performers together."

"Uhm.... I dunno... I'm still hesitant about setting foot in the guild..." she admitted as the performers made their way up towards the guild.

"Oh, come on," Ditri chirped, already edging in the direction of the guild. "It's not scary, I promise. It's actually a very nice place. And maybe while we're there, you'll meet a nice team to join, or decide to create your own team... or something." She giggled sheepishly. "I'm sorry, I'm rambling. So, what do you say?"

"Okay..." she agreed, reluctantly, "I guess it wouldn't hurt..."
She forced a smile, then took off towards the guild. She arrived at the entrance and landed neatly outside and waited for Distrysia to catch up.

"Great, thank you so much!" Ditri giggled like a little girl before taking off to follow Nightshade. At the entrance to the guild, she hung a little behind the Murkrow, panting. "I really... need to... work out more... hoo. You're a fast flier, Nightshade."

Nightshade smiled, "Sorry, Ditri."
The Murkrow took a few tentative steps into the entrance hall of the guild. A Swablu seemed to drop out from nowhere and landed in front of her, "
Hello." she chirruped, "What's your business in the guild?"

"It's alright," Ditri said, laughing. "I can still keep up with you... somewhat. At least I won't drop dead in midair." She was about to say more, when the Swablu intercepted them. She sidled a little bit closer to her, in case the Swablu didn't know that Ditri was there. "Hello," she responded. "We're here to meet those traveling performers. They said they'd be staying at the guild."

Swablu nodded, also recognizing Ditri from earlier, when she had registered the new team along with Kale. She wondered where the Sandshrew was, but didnt like to prise into other pokemon's business without good reason. "You may pass then. They are currantly in the Mess Hall."

Nightshade couldnt help but smile. The guild was alot more friendlier than she had first thought.

"Alright," Ditri said, nodding. "Thank you for the information, Swablu!" With a quick wave towards the Pokemon, she proceeded into the guild, taking a quick look back at Nightshade. "Come on, I'll lead you to the mess hall!"
