Shadowhue expedition

Ripple bounced into the dark forest, her blue bandanna tied around her neck. "So what are we here for?" she asked the snivy who was coming up behind her. She noticed to round objects in the distance. "What are those??" she interupted Laurel's answer as she squinted at the shapes

"Were supposed to find some rare berries for a starly." she replied, glancing at the request she had taken from the bulletin board. She looked up as Ripple mentoined the round things. "I dont know... Lets go see!!" she grinned, rushing towards them.

Ripple stopped in front of the round objects which she had now realized were white and green with a small splash of red at the top. "Well they aren't rare berries" Ripple confirmed. She screeched an leaped into Laurel's arms as one of them wiggled.

Laurel collapsed onto the ground as Ripple landed on her. "You do realise i cant carry you Ripple...." she sighed. She looked towards the objects. "Now that i think about it, they look like eggs...."

"heh sorry" the glaceon laughed, leaping off of the smaller pokemon. (oh snap i g2g) "What kind of egg?"

"I dont know..." she replied, getting back to her feet.

"Well we should take them back to the guild. I bet Sapphire Gold will know what they are." the blue pokemon decided. She gently picked one up, setting it in her bag. "Laurel can you take the other one? i want to be sure they don't break" she explained, cradling the second egg. "its quite cold." she murmured, feeling her egg after she handed the other to her partner. She untied her bandanna and gently wrapped it around the egg. As she set a paw on it she felt the creature inside jump. A small smile played on her lips and she closed the flap to the bag. "Alright let's find those berries. We're not leaving this mission until its done!" she exclaimed with a grin

Laurel smiled and cradled the first egg. She retrieved her scarf from the treasure bag and wrapped it around her egg. Laurel smiled and got it comfortable in her bag before nodding. "I think the berries must be deeper in the forest."

"Watch out for criminals!" Ripple cried her eyes sparkling. As they delved deeper into the forest many rustles could be heard. "Let's find those berries and get outta here! its creepy around these parts!" she said, her eyes darting around

Laurel nodded, looking around. She spotted a rather tall tree not far away. "Lets check over there!"

Ripple nodded, running up to the tree. Near the top the boughs were filled with rich red berries. "Does the notice say that the berries are red? cause here's some of em." Ripple asked, beginning to shimmy up the tree. She had left her bag on the ground in fear of the egg breaking wile she was up in the tree.

She nodded and did the same, swiftly climbing the tree and fetching some of the berries. "Woot!"

Ripple picked up her bag and put the berries inside. "Alright lets get back to the guild and give these berries to Starly" the glaceon said. "I want to make sure these eggs get proper care" she said with a slight look of worry on her face.

Laurel nodded, looking into her bag to check that the egg was alright. She then positioned the berries so that they wouldnt get squished and smiled. "Lets go then!!"
