Sakura and Lauren's expedition

Sakura sat on the roof o the school building, petting Radar's head. She let out a sigh, the painful memories o losin her first bttle still on her mind.

Lauren climbed up and sat next to Sakura. "Hey..." she smiled. She wanted to make sure that Sakura wasnt bitter about losing the battle...

"Oh, it's you.." She muttered, her boice trailing off."Are you going to strt bragging about how you won that battle because I don't care. Hmph, I'm not some cry baby y'know. I'm the mighty Sakura!"(BlackStar reference XD)She tried to hide the fact that she was depressed, and stopped stroking her starly. He fluttered onto her shoulder and began to glare at Lauren.

Sakura obviously wasnt hiding it very wel because both Lauren and Cloud seemed to sense her depression. "I didnt come to brag. I just came to make sure there werent any hard feelings between us.. since I didnt get to talk to you after the battle."

"Then what do you want? Come on, spit it out!" She began to lose her patience. Normally, a depressed person would barely dare to speak, but Sakura stays about the same. She changes her sadness into loud insults instead. Radar kept his gaze.

Lauren shrugged, "Well I thought, since you only have one pokemon, Do you want to come with me and you can catch a second? Everyone else has two now." She stood up as if to leave, "But if you dont want to, thats fine too."

"Wait..!" Sakura said with a sigh. She hated to admit it, but she was weaker with just a party of one."Sure..But this doean't change anyhing!" Shhe warned, jut to make herself seem tough.

Lauren laughed quietly. "Alright then Sakura, lets go!"
She climbed down from the roof, Cloud fluttering down with ease, and waited for the other trainer.

Sakura leaped down with a heavy thud, punching the air with her fists. Alright, let's go! Radar was now hovering above her head, hoping to avoid possible injury.

"What sort of pokemon are you aiming to capture?" asked Lauren., "A certain type? Or.. is there a pokemon you especially like?"

"I want a larvitar! Once I get my hands on one of those, Ill be invincible! HAHAHA!" She shouted at the top of her lungs, practically back to her old self.

"O....kay.." sighed Lauren, "That'll probably be hard to find, but since it's a Ground/Rock type, we should probably head up Spiralspine to try and find one. Its where I caught Dusty."

[Lol. btw, Spiralspine is Lauren's nickname for the Spiraling Hill, so Sakura probably wont know what she means.]

"..Wha..?" Sakura didn't know didly squat about spiral hill or the fact that Lauren called it Spiralspine. She just went with the flow, following Lauren to wherever she was headed.

Lauren shrugged and just lead Sakura away from the school building, towards a tall, spiraling, rocky hill.

Sakura didn't bother to look around, she just clutched her fists abd cracked her knuckles, ready to fight.

"Okay...." said Lauren to herself as she reached the base of the hill. She turned to Sakura. "You're in charge from here on in. Since you're the one who's catching the pokemon. But if you want any help K.O.ing any pokemon you dont want to catch, just ask."
She laughed, then motioned for Sakura to take the lead.

Sakura ventured off with Radar as her only company. She nearly fell backwards as a stone started to move. It turned out to only be a geodude. Hastily, she began to stomp on the pokemon, Radar using wing attack to help. Even the rock hard heas of a geodude wasn't tough ebough for Sakura. When the pokemon faibted from being pummeled by the pair, she and Radar high fived. As they went even farther, she didn't see much, just rocks and dirt. Suddenly something popped out of the ground, a larvitar. Almost immediately, Sakura and Radar ganged up on the little pokemon. She stomped on it an Radar used wing attack."Aha, I've got you now!"she shouting, stopping o stabd in hlory of her accomplishment. Suddenly a dandstorm brewed, the sand blowing into Sakura an radar's eyes. She began to vigorously rub them, only to feel a sharp pain as the larvitar bit into her leg. She flailed frantically around Radar aimlessly throwing out Wing Attacks. Sakura shouted for Laurwn, not able to see a thing in the midst of the storm.

Lauren quickly dashed over, having defeated the same Sandshrew that had escaped her last time. "Whats- oh.... Dusty!!"
She threw the pokeball that contained her Trapinch and Dusty matieriallized in front of her.
"None of us can see in the sandstorm, but you can. Right? Help Sakura!"

The Trapinch nodded and dissapeared of into the Sandstorm. She located Sakura and Radar and then the Larvitar. Dusty walked up to it and used Bite on it whilst it was occupied with Biting Sakura's leg.

The larvitar let go and began to squirm around. It was obviously at a low level and weakened by the pummeling. But although the sand storm stopped, it wouldn't let go of Sakura's leg. Radar began to peck furiously at it, hating to see his trainer suffer the bite. Eventually the larvitar let go, but as soon as it did, it began to tunnel underground, pulling Dusty with it. Sakura growled and tried to shove herself into the tunnel. She ended up getting stuck at her waiste. Radar let out a sigh.

Dusty kept hold of the Larvitar as it tunneled away. Lauren rushed over as the Sandstorm cleared to pull Sakura out.

The Trapinch dragged the Larvitar out of the -now clear- hole and used Earth Power on it to stop it from running away. The mini eruptions did a fair amount of damage, despite the typing.

He larvitar Ran franticqlly around, he spouts of lava burning its feet. Eventually, it fainted, dropping right on the spot."Argh!" Sakura yelled, ficing her hair.She reached into her pocjet to pull out a pokeball, but unforyunately she left her pack at the dorms. She froze on the spot twitching with frustration as all her hard work was thrown away.

"Oh for crying out loud Sakura. How could you forget the most important tool for a capture!?" sighed Lauren "You owe me." she tossed one of her own, spare pokeballs at Sakura and waited for her to throw it at the Larvitar.

"Yeah whatever." She said, taking the pokeball. Shen threw it at the larvitsr the ball wiggling for a little, then stopping as the larvitar was captured. She picked up the pokeball,"I shall call you Drake!" She stffed the ball into her pocket."Alrighy, let's go!" Exclaimed the dirt blonde trainer, as she marched in the wrong direction.

"Uh.... Campus is that way..." se pointed towards the opposite direction that Sakura had been walking in.

Sakura quickly hanged direction with a fake smile.
"I knew that!"
