Running along side the Wind

Swift let out a small whiney as she ran around her herd. She stayed with in the safty of it knowing of the dangers of Mountain Lions and other things out in the Savvana. She loved racing with the other ponies in the herd she would almost always win; with a flick of her tail she looked back to see two other ponies skidding to a stop. With a confused look she looked back in front of her and saw the Leader of the herd, she tried to stop but was too late and bumped into him and fell softly onto the ground.

Silen was following the herd from the air. She was curious about wild horses. The raven saw ones tied up in fields all the time and kept by humans, but here they roamed free. The jet black bird made a cawing noise that sounded like laughter as one of the herd's foals bumped into the herd leader.

Silen was always on the move, never really staying in one place for long, and just flying wherever she felt like going. Ravens have a rather wide and varied diet, so it is also extremely easy for her to find food.

Swift shook her head as she looked at the Leader, "Make sure you keep an eye of what is in front of you. There are dangerous creatures out there." he said in a stern but gentle voice. Swift brought her head down with her ears to the back of her heas as if to appoligize she let out a small whiney. The Leader walked away to a small patch of grass and began to graze. She looked up and saw a black bird cawing as if it was laghing. She let out an angery whiney as if to say "stop laughing!"

The bird didn't stop, knowing that the young foal couldn't do anything from down there anyway. After the novelty wore off though, she fluttered down and flew alongside the young female.
"So who are you then?" she asked.
