The huntresses meet

Yuki had broken into a gas station to refill her humvee and replenish her food and drinks only a few minutes ago, but zombies were already a few feet away as she finished filling up her vehicle. Knowing they'd jam up her humvee if she tried plowing through them she began to cut them down as quickly as she could with her swords. It wasn't a large horde, but unlike them she had a limit and the fighting she did early that day had already worn her down.

"You're kidding me! You wasted all that gunpowder on one explosion when you could of used it to survive longer and get to safety? You idiot!" Jill said and slapped Dio in the face.

The peregrine would have sniggered had she been able to make such a sound. Instead she found herself a position where she would be able to watch the new guy with her beady black eyes.

Yuki looked at the man and sighed, "See that hole on top of the humvee? Take my sniper and shoot at one of the places where you set up the dynamite, we're out of the area now right?" she said handing him her dragonuv.

Dio whistled. " Dang your packing heat. " HE slid open the roof hatch and got his torse out. " Asta lavesta babies!" He shouted as he racked the dynamite loaded area with gun fire until with another even bigger explosion took out the large Zombie horde that had collected around the bridge and it fell. " OOOOOOOH YEAH KABOOM !!"

Yuki sighed, "Just what we needed, a psychotic man who gets off on explosions.." she said as she started driving away from the area again.

Jill sighed too, and looked back at the explosion from the bridge, and wondered where they were going. "So where to now?" she asked Yuki.

The peregrine falcon screeched. It was a longer one than the others, but she was hungry. She didn't care where they went next as long as there was pigeon or two that she could try to catch.

" Oh yeah man!" He still yelled excited over the explosion. " Did you see that ?!" he asked them going back down closing the hatch behind him. " It took out the whole bridge!"

Yuki rolled her eyes, "Yeah we saw it," she said snatching her sniper rifle back. she then picked up the falcon and set it down in the nest she made for it, "Name's Raitoyuki, you can just call me Yuki though."

"Yeah, and now we can't use the bridge." Jill said to Dio, then said to Yuki "My name's Jill." she said, and wondered where the heck they were going.

The falcon was put back into the nest, where she fluffed up her feathers again as everyone introduced themselves.

" My name's Dio, Dio Sharp, pleasure to meet you ladies." He said adjusting his swords to sit more comfortablly also ignoring Jill's little comment. " So we're heading out of town fast as possible right?" He asked the girl in the driver seat she had a japanese name much like Dio he had noted.

Yuki nodded then looked at the falcon, "How about we call you Shadowflash? For the way you saved my neck back at the gas station."

" How about we call her dinner?" Dio suggested starting to unsheath his second fav sword

Yuki narrowed her eyes and pointed her pistol at Dio's face as she drove, "How about we call you dead?"

"How about we call us all dead if we can't work together and get slowly devoured by the living dead?" Jill said to Yuki and Dio. "But no eating the bird." she added on specifically towards Dio.

Shadowflash screeched twice and turned to Yuki. Somehow she seemed more intelligent than the average bird, but maybe it was just peoples imagination. Her screeches sounded almost cheerful as she accepted the name Yuki had given her.

She seemed to ignore Dio's remark, knowing that she'd claw and peck him to pieces before anyone ate her.

Yuki smiled and pet Shadowflash gently. "Alright, I suggest we head towards Atlanta, Georgia, I hear they were able to exterminate all the zombies in the area and barricaded the entire city from the rest of the world," Yuki said.

Dio frown and sheathed his sword. " Lously flying rat." he mummbled under his breath. " No 87 kills for you." He said to his katana

What if they think we're infected and don't let us in?" Jill asked, finding a comfortable position in the humvee. "Also, where are we right now?" she added on.

Shadowflash kept her eyes and ears on Dio as Yuki petted her. She wasn't about to drop her guard, even if he had.

"They'll let us in, you're only infected if you're bit by one, and we're in Washington D.C..." Yuki said.

Dio kept a stare on the bird. " Why not just take the walking undead -" And he drops the f bomb. " Out?" He asked. This was survival and the zombies were a threat so you elimanate the threat that was Dio's thoughts anyway.

"Well then, that's a bit of a road trip, and who knows who else we'll find." Jill said, then turned to Dio and said "Because there are too many of them, safety should be our priority."

Shadowflash shook her feathers again, they fluffed up again making her look bigger than she actually was. It was like a staring contest between Dio and herself, as she still didn't let up her black gaze.
