Breaking free

"Get away from me!" Cole shouted as he threw a scientist off of him. Cole was being tested to see what fire powers he could use. This time he did a little experiment, 'lets see who gets incinerated first!' "I've had enough of your stupid little tests! Get out of my way or I'll make you into a nice pile of ashes!" Cole screamed at the men who were guarding the doors. The men took out cattle-prods and turned them on. Cole just laughed at them and rushed towards them. The second the men lunged at Cole with their weapons he lit himself on fire and slammed into them. "I told you I'd hurt you, that's what you get for not listening!" Cole yelled at the guards who were flailing about trying to put out the fires that had started on their bodies. Cole ran out of the Testing room and down into the hallways.

"Some one help me!!" Sonjia pleaded to anyone that could here her. She had only been in this lab for a few weeks. She had been tested on by needles, and tests of agillity; she couldn't take it anymore. She sat alone in her small cage in darkness. I want my Mom and Dad. she thought as she started to cry.

Josh had heard the commotion from his own cage, and looked out. He had just been caught a week ago, and was sick of being stuck in a cage and tested on. He started to kick the door on his cage to try and get out while the scientists were distracted by whatever was going on.

Cole heard someone yelling for help so he ran in that direction. He came upon a single cage with someone in it. "I'm going to get you out don't worry." Cole reassured the person in the cage. "The name's Cole." He added. He broke the lock on the cage and opened the door.

Josh kept kicking the door, and finally broke the lock on the cage door. He crawled out of the cage, and got up with a slight limp on his leg he kicked the door with. He ran out and went down to the hall to go to where he heard someone yell for help.

Sonija went as far back to her cage as she could in fear of what this person may do to her. Slowly she extended her hand for Cole's, "I'm Sonija." she whispered wiping her eyes. She got out of the cage still holding Cole's hand.

Josh continued to run down the hall and saw Cole and Sonija. "Hey" he said, coming to a stop next to them. "What's going on?" he asked as calmly as he could, curious about the situation.

Cole noticed someone running towards him and Sonija. "Well, I'll keep it short and sweet, were getting out of here by force." Cole replied to Josh's question. "Oh and the name's Cole. Now we'd better book it because the guards are going on lock down." Cole added.

Sonjia quickly turned into her Pokeform. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's get out of here!" she said running for the door.

"Yeah, we should go. SOmething tells me they won't be very peachy to find us gone." Josh said, and started to run behind Sonija.

"Lets light 'em up" Cole said as he ran with the others. "I think that will be my catch phrase." Cole laughed as he ran.

"What do you think my catphrase should be?" Sonjia asked. She thought for a moment. "No matter what, i'll never give up!" she said trying it out.

Josh laughed slightly while he was running. "How about we all discuss catchphrases when we get out of here?" he suggested.

"Umm you might want to keep trying on that, and ya probably not the best time for worrying about that." Cole chuckled, " now lets see if those tests really paid off!" Cole shouted.

"What did they do to you?" Sonjia aske tilting her head in confrsion. She looked in front of her and saw a small group of Houndoom blocking the exit. "Can we make it?!"

Josh looked ahead and noticed the group of houndoom too. "We might be able too, or we could see if there's another way around, though we might loose our oppurtunity to escape if we detour." he said, still running.

"Hold on I'll give us a distraction then you two sneak around I'll try and catch up. If we take a different route there might be something worse then a few hounddoom." Kyle said, he wass now running faster. Soon he shot embers at the hound like Pokemon to get there attention. He shifted into his Pokemon form and dashed into one of them.

Sandy had been sat in her own cage when all of this commotion had started. She was used to this by now, every so often a few 'experiments' would break out, but usually they would just get recaptured again an hour later.
She sighed, her tail twitching as she listened to what was going on. Finally, after a few minutes of contemplation, the half Flygon picked her cage's lock and decided she would at least help these few pokemon-human hybrids escape.

She flexed her wings before spreading them completely and taking off. She had no need for her entire pokemon form when she had the necessary means to fly in this one. She used her keen senses to locate the area where the escapees were now stuck. Once she arrived on the scene, she found the reason why.
A group of Houndoom.
No competition for a fully evolved dragon type? She hoped so.

With that thought, Sandy dived into the fray, releasing a few meteor-like dragon attacks at the dark type pokemon. She backed that attack up with a sandstorm, created by the vigorous flapping of her diamond shaped wings.

Sonjia suddenly felt a huge blast of wind. Just then a meteor like attack hit the Houndoom, "What was that?!" she shouted/asked the small group.

"Well whatever it was, it helped. So um thank you?" Cole said as he turned back into his human form.

The Flygon-human hybrid giggled cheerfully as she gracefully landed further up the corridor. She flattened her dress and flicked her tail, bowing as if she had just finished an awe inspiring display. "You're welcome!" she grinned.

"By any chance would you join a rebellion? Beacuse we would need someone like you." Cole asked as he brushed off his hoody and smoothed his hair.

"Can we talk about this later? We should go before those houndoom wake up or something else comes." Sonjia said eyeing the knocked out Houndoom. She took off running towards the door.

"A rebellion? Love to. I'm sick to death of them using me to try and understand the conditions of evolution for a human pokemon hybrid." She sighed, flicking her tail again.
"Anyhow. I guess she's right. Lets go."
With that she took off again, following Sonjia.

"Alright lets get out of here." Cole responded as the others started to leave.
