~Physical description~
Lauren is young and has fairly pale skin. She has long brown hair that is usually tied up. Lauren has purple eyes and often fashions a beautiful tail for herself, using her illusionary powers.
~Clothing~
A black shirt, along with black trousers and a long, dark blue trench coat. Black sneakers. She even sometimes uses her illusionary magic to make her hair look shorter, so she can wear a black fedora. If she's not wearing this, she's wearing the casual wear in the picture[See links at the bottom]

~History~
Lauren was born in the city of Hereford, and lived with her father until she was chased out of the city when she was 7 because of her magical abilities. She had kept them secret for years, but after playing a trick on one of her neighbors using her illusionary powers, they began to treat her as if she was a monster, driving her away.
Lauren had to try on survive on what little she had managed to grab while she was escaping and what the animals she befriended[using her element] could scavenge for her. Now she is older, she is able to find her own food and survive alone. Lauren can be secretive when she wants to but will open up to almost anyone else who is able to use magic. She is rather mature for her age but can be rather childish when she knows she's safe from danger.

~Family~
Lauren's only known family are her parents. She never knew her mother because she died of cancer when Lauren was just a baby. Her father raised her until she was 7 and was driven away.

This may be added to the History: After a while of living off the land, Lauren settled down in Cardiff, forming a secret organisation in Cardiff bay.

~Entrance link
After walking into the abandoned tourist office you can either use the lift, or take the stairs to go underground. At the bottom of both, you will find the entrance to the hub. The giant gear rolls out of your way so you can enter...

~Relaxation Area link
A sofa with a desk, perfect for eating or just taking a seat for a while. As you can see, its right next to the medical/autopsy room.

~Work Stations link
A set of work stations that are all similar to the picture. Each member of the institute has one of their own.

~Conference Room link
A comfortable looking room with a large six seated oval shaped table taking up the middle of it. There is also a screen for presentations and a table for refreshments. Also used fairly casually.

~Medical Room link
An area equipped with the latest medicinal technology and equipment. Also used for autopsy on those rare occasions.

~Office link
An office for the institute's leader. There is also a safe and storage places for information on certain objects and people. There is also a small entrance that looks like a trapdoor fashioned to look like a manhole, which leads down to some sleeping quarters.

~Sleeping Quarters link
Probably the nicest furnished room in the hub. It currently belongs to Lauren. The numerous maps are used to map certain things like object sightings and battles with the Gail. Aswell as a simple bed, there is a desk and a personal computer.

Torchwood collects Objects of power that dont have a specific owner, or have fallen into the wrong hands, to keep them from being used for the wrong reasons..... and also goes around trying to destroy the Gails so that magicians can live peacefully.
