Taming a Zenar

Jason was slowly walking to the Arena where they kept the Wild Zenar. There were so many to choose from. He past most of rhe Zenar till he came to the very back. Heard something calling him then he stopped. "Find something you like?" a man in his forties asked.

Scythetail nodded and grinned. She lay down as the other military guys came rushing out, so that Jason could climb up onto her back with ease. Once she knew he was safe, she spread her wings out, her full wingspan being alot bigger than she had demonstrated when creating the smaller gusts of wind. She flapped a few times before taking off. "Where will we go?" she asked as she rose higher, escaping from the arena.

Jason grinned, "Let's Get away from here first. But you want to get rid of the ones who took you away?" he asked her. He to wanted to get back at the one who hurt both of them.

"Yes!" she replied, her powerful feathered wings taking them further away from the arena as they spoke.

Jason wanted to ease his friends pain, "Then do what you want to them. Let them see the fear of a zenar." he said as he felt the joy of flying with Scythetail.

The black dragon swiftly flipped around so that she was facing the arena far down below. She gathered up alot of energy into a bright blue ball of ice, before shooting it down towards where all the military men were.
Scythetail's icy energy impacted the ground in the centre of the arena, but it spread so that it froze the entire place, catching many of the military guys who hadnt yet escaped, freezing them in place.

Jason could hear the screams of the men as they became froze. "Now to free the other Zenar Scythetail." Jason said.

Scythetail nodded and dived back downwards. She swooped over the arena and hovered just above it, wondering what to do next. "I dont know how to open these cages...."

"Don't worry I'll get the cages you just keep the other people bakc."Jason said as he started to unlock the Zenar's cages.

Scythetail nodded and used her icy attacks to get the humans to stay back whilst Jason unlocked the cages.

A white haired girl appeared behind the duo. "Need some help?" She pushed a piece of hair behind her ear, her eyes looking on in interest. She flipped up the hood of her Batman hoodie and grinned. "They'll never identify me"

Jason stared at the girl for a second and shook his head, "Yes help me get these cages unlocked." he said while getting to another Zenar cage open.

Scythetail looked at the girl curiously, before nodding, showing that she wouldnt hurt her, and turning her attention back to the military guys that had escaped her icy breath and were now trying to stop them from freeing the zenar.

Skylar dropped to her knees and undid a latch. "Phsaw. What do these wretched people need them for anyway?" She undid another latch and grumbled to herself

"The way I see it they are for Military use. And to keep them under controle but they were here first." Jason explained. as he unlached another cage.

"Hmph" Skylar busied herself opening another cage. "The Zenar are so clever. How do they capture them so easily?"

As one of the humans got dangerously close to getting past her, Scythetail blocked his path with her bladed tail. He looked into her eyes and she growled at him, the peircing blue not wavering once as she stared him down.

"The military make these special nets that drains their power. So if they get caught in the net and try to use the abilities then they'll be drained." Jason explained. "Scythetail creat an ice wall!" the boy camanded his Zenar.



Ooc: If any of my Zenar can they be with Skylar?

Scythetail nodded and stopped staring at the military guy. She easily created a large wall of ice between them and the other guys with her frozen breath.

Skylar looked on in shock. Staring down at her turquoisy squid bag that i just now gave her, She pulled out a bow and arrow she had stolen.

Jason looked at the girl in confusion, "Wheredid you get that? And What could it do?" he asked still getting latches off the cages.



Ooc: My Zenar is in the Forest you'll have to go to her. *Evil grins*

Since the military people werent going to be much of a problem thanks to the ice wall, Scythetail set about hacking some of the locks off with her bladed tail.

"You'd be surprised how handy i am with the Bow at age eleven" Skylar winked, unlatching the last cages in the row. "And i've always had this" she said with a mischievous grin

Jason raised a brow, "Sweet. This should be the last one." he grinned. Getting the last cage he saw a half dead Zenar with a sad gasp he was unsure of what to do.

Scythetail heard Jason's gasp and came to investigate. She saw the half dead Zenar, a Phoenix. Its once firey feathers has lost their sheen and it curled up in one of the corners of the cage, too weak to move. The black dragon felt a wave of sympathy wash over her as she watched its struggles.

Carefully, she walked into the cage and over to the bird. It tried to shy away, thinking that Scythetail would hurt it further. Instead, she gently touched the tip of her snout to the phoenix's wing, her eyes flashing dull and grey.
Starting from Scythetail's snout, a pale blue light seemed to swim over the phoenix's feathers. After a few seconds, the glow faded and the Phoenix looked as good as new.
Scythetail stood back, the piercing blue colour returning to her eyes.

The Phoenix looked gratefully up at Scythetail and gave her a smile before it spread its wings and fluttered out of the cage while it still had the chance.

Jason watch Scythetail in aw, "When did you learn to do that?" he asked walking closer to her. He could hear the muffled shouting of the Military, "Get the Flamethrowers!" The boys eyes widend, "Never mide lets go! Skylar you comming?" he asked as he got on the Zenar.
