Taming a Zenar

Jason was slowly walking to the Arena where they kept the Wild Zenar. There were so many to choose from. He past most of rhe Zenar till he came to the very back. Heard something calling him then he stopped. "Find something you like?" a man in his forties asked.

A jet black dragon-like Zenar with feathered wings and a sharp silver blade for a tail tip, snapped at anyone who came near her. She was confused, but didnt want to show it... She wanted to get out of this arena and back into the forested areas where she could hide from all the humans.

"I'll give this one a try." Jason said to the man. "I'm not sure about this one kid. She a real peice of work. She's killed several people before." Jason looked into the Zenar's eyes something told him that she was the one. "No has ever tried to reason with her. I want to give this one a try." he said. The man sighed,"Ok kid it's your funeral. *mutters*Litteraly. Boys send out the Stormageddon." She must be firce. Jason thought.

Storm flicked her tail, the swift, threatening swipes of the blade clattering againsed the bars of her cage. She growled as they opened the gate and tried to get her to move into the arena.
After a minute or so of defying the humans, Scythetail did enter the arena. She spread her feathered wings and flapped them a few times, making her look bigger and more menacing.

Jason walked in the Arena with Scythetail. She was big he had to admit. Slowly he stuck his hand out to touch her snout. "It's ok girl." he whispered. Very slowly he stepped closer.

Scythetail growled at Jason as he held his hand out towards her. With each step he took, she waved her tail threateningly.

Jason flinched when Sythetail growled. He watch her tail closely. "It's ok I won't hurt you." he said gentaly.

The dragon-like creature flapped her wings again, creating large gusts of wind. Jason was the most gentle out of the humans who had tried to tame her so far... and she was grateful for that.

But she still didnt trust them.


Scythetail leaped to the side and lashed out with her claws, narrowly missing Jason as he spoke.

Jason Braced himself from the wind. When Sythetail lashed at him he moved back the claw snaged his shirt. "I know your afraid. You can trust me." he told her in a gental voice.

Scythetail opened her mouth, a jet of piercing blue shot from her mouth. It matched the colour of her eyes and froze the ground between them both. "How do I know that you arent lying!!" she hissed, every word dripping with hatred for the humans that had captured her, even though Jason wouldnt be able to understand her.

Scythetail hissed at Jason not befor she shot a strange blue beam at the ground. Jason stopped when the ground froze. He could not explain it but he felt his heart stop as if everything he love was taken from him, his home, his friend, even his family. He grabbed his shirt right where his heart was, "What have they done to you?" he whispered.

The dragon-like zenar blinked at the whispered words. This human.... he seemed different from the others. He wasnt just another mindless goon who wanted to control a powerful creature.. to be able to use her for their own ends...

....he cared.

Jason's throat felt tight and his eyes stung. He couldn't explain why butit felt like Scythetail and him were conected. "How can I help you Scythetail?" he asked in a quiet voice.

Scythetail didnt answer... instead she took one cautious step forwards. The fact that she was now half standing on the frozen patch of ground didnt seem to bother her at all. This human... Jason... he knew her name..

Jason put his hand out again and slowly walked on the ice, "I won't hurt you Scythetail. That's you name right? I feel your pain as if it was my own. They took everything from you did they?" he asked ther giant Zenar.

Scythetail took another step across the ice. "They....took everything..." she repeated, as if to acknowledge the fact that it was true. Her piercing blue eyes searched his deep purple ones... She felt comfortable in the prescence of him... of Jason.

She felt safe.

Jason's hand very close to Scythetail's snout if she attacks then he could lose his hand or worse. "I'll help you get out of this place. I don't know if I could get you home though, but I would be honnored if you could stay with me. They did the same thing to me in a way." he shuddered at the memory. "I could see things noone else could. I could hear something more from the Zenar. They took me from my family. I can help you get out from here." he ended in a whisper.His hand inches fron the Dragons snout it was up to Scythetail on what she would do.

Scythetail froze for a second and thought about Jason's words. Her gaze flicked from his eyes, to his outstretched arm. She flapped her wings gently as she thought... then gently pushed her snout into his hand. "You can help me...." she whispered.

"You can help me." Jason let out a small gasp Scythetail had trusted him. The young man felt something around his neck. He looked down to see a necklace with a small light blue stone(Element of ice). "What do you say we get out of here?" he asked her. "Hold it right there!" a voice came from behind him. Jason looked to see a militay type man comeing twoard them.



(Ooc: We can both be the Military guy.)

As Jason gasped, Scythetail felt something near the tip of her tail. She glanced around and noticed a small stone, identical to the one on Jason's new necklace, on a small silver chain, tied just under the blade on her tail.
"What do you say we get out of here?"
She quickly nodded before a man yelled from behind him, "Hold it right there!"

Scythetail growled at the other human. Unlike Jason, she didnt trust this military guy whatsoever.

(kk XD I didnt this time cause i didnt know what to make him say or anything..)

The military guy came closer, "You are under arrest Jason Kruger. And that thing behind you is going to be put down!" he shouted pointing at Scythetail. Jason stood in front of his Zenar, "I'm not going with you, and Scythetail is not a 'thing'. She has feling just like we do. I won't let you take her!" Jason shouted back.



Ooc: I realized that I copied lines from Bleach the first movie. Sorry about that.

ooc: its okay XD I copy words from alot of shows i watch into alot of random things so yea.

Scythetail suddenly turned fairly agressive towards the military guy. She lashed her tail to and fro, the blade glinting in the light. She growled at the new guy wondering why he wanted to hurt her... and arrest Jason. She didnt really know what arrest meant, but she knew it probably wasnt anything good xD

"Scythetail use Shadow Ice!" Jason told the Dragon. "You really think that creture will listen to you?" the man asked in confendens that the Zenar would not listen to Jason.



Ooc: The Zenar name their attacks. Shadow Ice is a combo of Darkness and Ice.

Scythetail growled again, determined to prove the annoying human wrong. She used her Darkness and Ice elemental attacks to create the combination of Shadow Ice.
The piercing blue of the beam of ice seemed to radiate with a dull black, shadowey aura. The attack was aimed straight at the man, and it was up to him to either dodge or stay still.

The military guy gasped in shock and was quickly frozen. Jason turned to Scythetail, "What do you say we get out of here?" he asked her when he did more military guys came out shouting at them to stop. Jason got on the Black Dragon.
