Sneaking Outside DWMA

"Alright Renee follow my lead" Arika hissed in her partners ear. She tucked a stray strand of ginger hair behind her ear then trotted off to the teacher at the door. "Ah I forgot my schedule outside! Please can i go get it?" she begged, her puppy dog eyes unbearably persuasive. Given a small nod the new student practically flew outside, waiting for Renee to pull something like that

Hijiro looked to Zero." Let's try it." Hijiro looked fiercly at zero.

Renee closed her eyes and concentrated. She reached into the very depths of her soul and tried to perfectly match wavelengths with Arika. Her eyes burst open as she felt a massive surge of power, but she lost her concentration in surprise....

"wait. let's be patient. let's let them have a turn." zero said.

"There's more then one dummy we can take another ." Hijiro did not like to be up showed especaly by these two pre picked to be a team.

"just wait ok, i want to see what happens. don't forget that you draged me aout here." zero said.

Hjiro opened his mouth to protest but Zero was way too much of a downer to even care. Man this guy needs to lighten up. Hijiro reached into his pocket and fished out his ipod to play some music.

"Concentrate Renee!" Arika hissed, more frustrated at her own inability then her partners. Her focus increased and sticks and stones began to fly

"Sorry.." she whispered, getting over the initial shock nd trying to focus the power on creating the special move thing XDD

Feeling an intense surge of power Arika tilted her head up victoriously. She swung the blade around in an ark, hardly able to keep her balance as the tug of gravity intended to make her fall and fail. She sliced cleanly through three of the dummies, digging the bottom of the scythe into teh dirt to keep herself from falling over completely.

Renee's blade had started to glow a soft blue colour as Arika sliced through the dummies. This was the result of the Soul Resonance. Fairly weak for now... but with practice, it would get better.

Hijiro moved over too her side as he saw her start to lose balence." Hey you okay?" He helped her stand straighter.

"a-Ah I'm fine!" She hissed, standing as strait as one could possibly get. "That was fantastic!" Arika grinned wildly

The image of Renee on the side of the blade grinned, "I honestly didnt think anything would happen!"

"Have faith in us dear" Arika laughed, letting go of the scythe

"our turn." zero said. transforming into his weapon form and landing in Hijiro's hands.

Renee transformed back into a human. She smoothed down her checkered dress and pulled a ribbon from.. well it seemed like nowhere. She tied her hair up into a pony tail to keep it away from her face. "What are we going to do now Arika?"

" Now your ready? Seriously Zero?" Hijiro made sure the girls were okay first then walked ahead to a good place to attack from.

"yep, i'm ready. ok here goes nothing. SOUL RESONANCE!" zero yelled. he concentrated on bringing his soul together with Hijiro's.

"I guess we should head back soon. Lets see how their resonance goes" the ginger haired girl said after a moment of thought. "This should be interesting."

"Interesting, yes. No one has ever been able to resonate their souls their first time battling before." Renee sat down on the steps and watched.

Arika sat down beside her partner, swinging her legs. "Lets see how they do" she murmured, a cocky glint in her eyes. She flipped her hair onto one shoulder so she wasn't sitting on it
