Frienemies- Back on the Boat

Hisana was leaning back on the ships railing feeling the breeze of the wind. Ichigo, Hisana's Riolu had decided to go off to explor the ship. He felt a strange Aura close by and went to see what it was. He started to run and when he turned the corner he bumpped into something, someone slightly taller then him.

Ellen wasn't far away doing pretty much the same thing as Hisana and though Lumi, her Emolga, and Nightshade, her Murkrow were both stood on the railings, Serena, Ellen's Kirlia had decided to go and see where everything was.

The Kirlia was looking up at a small map attached to the wall of the boat. It showed where everything was on the ship. All of a sudden something bumped into her, nearly causing her to fall over due to her rather delicate body. Luckily, with a few steps forwards she managed to steady herself again. Serena turned around realized that it was a Riolu that had bumped into her.

"Mah bar. Mah?(Sorry about that. You ok?)" Ichigo asked. He ment to catched the Pokemon but it seemed that she had caught herself already.(I'm just going to type what he's saying for now.) Ichigo scratched the back of his head not fully sure on what to say. He wasn't very good at talking to other Pokemon he just met.

"Kirli(It's alright.)" she smiled, perfectly balanced on the tips of her thin, pale green feet once more. The Kirlia then stood strong on her right leg whilst she moved her left to the side. She spread her delicate white arms out either side of her. In one soft, fluid movement, the left leg was behind her, then the left foot met the knee of her right leg, her pale arms drew back in and she span three times consecutively, performing a perfect pirouette.
She stopped spinning as her left leg rejoined the ground, the whole top half of her body seemingly doubling over before she gently rose beck into her normal standing position, the graceful movement of her arms making it look like a dance.

ichigo watch the Pokemon's movements with a slight shock. he knew that Kirlia were gracefull but nothing compaired to this one. he quickly shook his head and indroduced himself, "I'm Ichigo, what's your name?" he asked extending his paw.

"Serena." she replied, her arms by her sides now. She still balanced precariously on the tips of her feet and thought it was natural for her to do so, it looked as if the slightest nudge could send her flying. The Kirlia smiled, "Pleased to meet you."

Ichigo just stood there, "Ichigo, where'd you go?!" called a voce from around the corner. One could hear the sound of something being dragged. From around the corner came a Seel named Rukia, "Ichigo Hisana's been calling you. Come on; she can see the island." she said ijnoring the Kirlia.

"Ellen usually doesn't mind where I go..." commented Serena tilting her head slightly to the side. In a second the tips of the Kirlia's thin white arms were surrounded in a soft blue light. She raised them above her head and suddenly the three pokemon appeared next to Hisana with Serena herself sat on the railing.
"She knows that I can always Teleport back."

"Wow that was cool." Ichigo said looking around to see Senna walking over to a Murkrow. "Pichu?(What kind of Pokemon are you?)" she asked the flying dark type. Hisana looked over to see Rukia and Ichigo with a Kirlia. "Hey ichigo did you have fun exploring?" she asked the Aura Pokemon. "Mah.(It was ok.)" he said looking away as if it was nothing.

Ellen wandered over to where she saw that Nightshade had landed. Serena seemed to have appeared there too.

Nightshade was perched on the railings, further away from where Serena was with Hisana and her other pokemon. Anyone looking on might think she was lonely, though that wasn't the case.
She looked down at the Pichu as she asked her what pokemon she was. Tilting her head to the side slightly, she replied, "Murkrow."

Lumi glided over and landed on the railing next to where Serena was sat. Serena looked down at the Emolga and smiled cheerfully, pointing out to the ocean and commenting on how the way the sun shone on the ocean...it was almost hypnotic.

"Pichu? Pi pichu!(Murkrow? My name's Senna)" the small yellow Pokemon said twiching her left ear which had a red ribbon tied to it. Rukia just stared at the Kirlia for a moment and wobbled back to Hisana. The young trainer looked down and saw her Pokemon, "Hey Rukia, did you find Ichigo?" she asked as the Seel glanced back to the Riolu and Kirlia. Hisana walked over to her Pokemon, "Hey Ichigo, who's your new friend?" she asked in a small tease. "Mah mah bar!(It's not like that!)" he shouted.

Ellen saw Hisana, another trainer by the looks of it, and moved over to stand nearer to where she was.
"Hi," she smiled, feeling rather awkward at attempting to start a conversation.

"Murkrow krow.(I'm Nightshade.)" replied the Darkness Pokemon turning her attention back to the clear skies.

Serena tilted her head slightly at Hisana's comment, seemingly not understanding what she meant behind it. Shrugging she turned back to Lumi. The electric type still seemed very interested in the ocean having never seen it before now.

Hisana looked back and saw another person. Is she a trainer too? she asked herself. "Hi. My name's Hisana what's your name?" she asked politly extending her hand to shake the other girls. Senna saw the Emolga and raced over to her. "Pi pichu!(Hi my name's Senna)" she said loudly.

"Ellen." she smiled, taking Hisana's offer and shaking her hand, "Are you going for the tournament too?"

Lumi heard the voice behind her but instead of turning around she leaned backwards, clinging onto the boats railings to make sure she didn't fall whilst she saw who was speaking to her. Blinking when she realized it was another electric type, the Emolga spun round on the railing, her feet still clinging to it until she got halfway around when she let go and glided back up, landing, but this time she was facing the Pichu.
"Emolga!(I'm Lumi!)" she grinned, "Emol Emolga(Pleased to meet you!)" she grinned

Hisana shook Ellen's hand in turn. "Yep. This is already so much fun. But just because we met doesn't mean that I'll go easy on you if we battle." she said with a deternened look. "By the way these are my Pokemon: Ichigo, Rukia, and Senna." she said pointing to each of her Pokemon. Senna started to run around in circles, "Pi pichu pi!(awsome I made two new friends!!)" she shouted with joy.

"I didn't expect you to." she replied, her own blue eyes just shining with determination.
Ellen glanced around at each of Hisana's pokemon then introduced her own.
"This is Serena, Lumi and Nightshade..."

The young trainer stopped when she saw that Nightshade was separating herself from the others again. She frowned slightly, the determined look in her eyes from before softened into one more of sympathy.

"Emolgaa!~"
Lumi leaped off of the railing and glided around Hisana. Her cheerful cries were obviously full of enthusiasm and excitement.

Senna started to chase after the Emolga. Hisana laughed at the Pokemon, "How long have you been a trainer?" she asked Ellen. She herself started two years ago but this was her own way of starting over.

"About two years..." she replied, only half into the conversation as she wandered over to Nightshade.
Leaning against the railings next to the Darkness Pokemon she asked her what was wrong. Nightshade, as stoic and secretive as ever just turned away, not intending to say anything. Ellen sighed. Though Nightshade was a loyal pokemon, she just couldn't seem to get to the bottom of what seemed to bug her all the time.

Meanwhile, Lumi was gliding across the ship's deck, performing all sorts of clever manoeuvres.

Serena all of a sudden hopped down from the railings and began to wander off again.
