Return to the bookstore.

In the town of Bayville, Troy was walking around the area again, looking at the various places to go around the area. As he walked past a bookstore, he remembered that Allison had been working there, and she had shown him the shop. Wondering if anyone was in there, Troy opened the door to the shop and looked inside. "Is anyone here?" he asked, wondering if he would receive a response.

Alison was in the back of the store putting books on the shelp on the step ladder when she heard the door open. When she went to the front she saw a boy that looked familiar to her. What was his name again? she thought taking out her earbuds. She was listening to a Skillet song on her I-pod Touch when she just remembered. "Troy! How have you been?" she asked giving him a light hug.

Troy flinched slightly, not expecting the hug, or anyone to be there, for that matter. "Hey Allison. I've been fine, how about you?" he asked, giving her a small hug back. He wasn't sure if she would remember him or not, so it was nice to see her happy to see him. He turned his head to see if anyone else was in the store, but couldn't see anything.

""Ivy's gone off somewhere so I'm watching the stor for now. What brings you here?" Alison asked the young man. She felt happy to have some company then just being by herself all day to be honest she was board out of her mind. She grabbed a book that she was reading from the counter and placed it safly in her arms.

Troy nodded his head, remembering Ivy, the strange girl sleeping in the back of the bookstore. "I'm just here because I felt like it. I was bored, felt like I should go talk to someone." he said, looking at the books in the store also as he talked. "Do you get many customers usually?" he asked.

"Not really," Garret said, he was sitting in the back room.

Alison jumpped slightly not expecting Garret to be there. "Where have you been?" she asked the manturning to face him. He had been gone for a few weeks and she had been waundering where he had been, "Troy this is Garret, Garret this is Troy."

Troy jumped at the man talking from the back of the shop. "Hi Garret." he said, hearing Allison introduce him. How long was he in there? Troy wondered, not able to imagine being stuck in the back of a book shop all day.

"I have been down at the local precinct," Garret said, "I finally got on the Director's good side and I am almost going to be re-instated as a detective." he finished, he also completely ignored Troy.

"And you've been gone for almost two weeks for just that?" Alison asked the older man. She put her book down on the counter and disapiered into the back room to get something to eat. "Try not to kill each other guys. I don't want to deal with the mes." she said walking away.

Troy watched Allison walk into the back room, and turned around to look at some of the things on the bookshelf. He didn't know why, but he didn't feel absolutely comfortable with Garret. He tried not to ignore him, occasionally looking back at him, but didn't try to create conversation, leaving a sort of awkward silence.

"So how are things going Troy?" Garret asked, flipping through a magazine. His feet were now up on the table.

Alison decidd to go buy some lunch for everyone luckly there was a Chinese resteraunt near by. Taking the back door she started her motercycle and went off. Maybe some Fried Rice, noodles, Sweet and Sour Chicken, three eggrolls she thought as she turned left at the traffic light.

Troy looked back at Garret and replied. "Good, good." he said. "How are things going with you?" he asked back to Garret, now paying attention to him since he started some conversation. He glanced at the magazine that Garret was reading, and looked at it.

"Going good," he said, and then an awkward silence kicked in around the store.

Troy remained quiet for a couple of seconds, before deciding to try and bring conversation back. "So, you're a detective, right?" He asked.
