History : Marie's father is the leader of one of the highest-ranked team of the guild,so he insists that his children follow his path and join an exploration team.His son,Nicky,died while being on a mission.He was the only one in the family who actually cared for Marie,so she never got over it.Being old enough to join a team,her dad forces her to join the guild.He doesn't care if whether she wants to or not.Unfortunately,the latter is the case.
Other : Marie is the kind,relaxed type.She is simple and hates drama.She however tends to be shy around people she doesn't know.

Also, You'd need a reason why she has flowers instead of leaves because I dont feel that it would be something that occurs naturally in the Turtwig species.

Just realized, according to serebii.net, Turtwig cannot learn Petal Dance and Sweet Scent, so you'll either have to find conclusive proof that Turtwig can learn them and PM me/post it here, or you'll have to change part of her moveset.
