Whats Wrong with Ikazuma Sensei?

Kajiro sat bored out of his mind in History class, he was leaning on one arm that was propped up like a stand. Everyone else in the class seemed to be doing the same, other than the few students who actually seemed to be taking notes. And even those students were bored out of their mind, their bars where barely at 25% percent full. Kajiro re-directed his attention to the board where their teacher, Mr. Ikazuma, was writing things on the board. "Man even Ikazuma Sensei doesn't want to be here." Kajiro thought to himself, "Normally his bar is at least 75% full, but today he is barely reaching 10%... I wonder whats up." Kajiro then decided to write down at least a few things so that he wouldn't bomb the class.

Renee sat at her desk, absentmindedly staring out of the window as the teacher explained the things he had written on the board. Every so often she would glance down at her book and make as if she was noting things down, when in reality she was doodling one of the trees outside in the bottom left corner of her exercise book. She took down the odd note from the board every so often, but it was mainly whenever she glanced up to make it look like she was listening.

[I know Renee probably wouldn't legitimately be in this class since she's two years younger than Kajiro... Buut... yea. xD You're the only person with a 16-year-old character so far.]

Asuka stared blankly at the chalkboard in the fron of her history classroom.
"Clocks...... Clocks........"
All the terrible people that could happen to other people.... all the things she could prevent..... The warnings were right there in front of her eyes. And she had no clue wht they ment. She sighed. Even the teacher had one. It never ended.

Hajime was sitting in the back of the classroom, silently taking notes from the teacher. Looking around, he could see a variety of colors in the area. He really noticed the teacher, Ikazuma, who had a dark purple tint of color. That's odd... Hajime thought, and went back to work on his class notes.

Man this class is so boring, Kajiro thought to himself, If I could see my own bar I am sure it would be empty. He kept storing at chalk board, bored out of his mind. Just then Ikazuma sensei turned around and said, "Okay class, I will be seperating you into groups and assigning you topics to complete a research problem on. The groups are: Kajiro, Hajime, Asuka, Renee, and even though he is absent today he will be in your group, Shinajacki. You five will be research the rise and fall of the Ninja of fuedal Japan." Ikazuma then kept on talking and assigning groups. Kajiro thought to himself, Eh, I can work with those people.

Renee suddenly snapped to attention as Ikazuma-sensei began separating the class into groups. She glanced over at the people she would be working with and wondered if she'd be able to draw something for the project.
The Ninja.... At least it's not an entirely boring topic... she thought, turning her attention back to finishing the tree in her book as the teacher announced the rest of the groups.

Asuka looked around at her new groupmates, glancing at the clocks above her heads. Then, she noticed something odd about one of them. "His name is Kajiro, I believe....." She thought, staring at the space above his head. The empty space. No clock.
"... What?" Asuka thought. That had never happened before. Normally there was ALWAYS a clock above a person's head. But no, not him. "Wh-where is it?" she said, staring fixatedly at the empty space above his head.

Hajime sighed and leaned back in his seat. Great, a project. At least my partners can help out, I hope. And it's about ninjas. he thought, and looked at his partners, checking their colors. Asuka was weird. Her color was a mix and blend of different colors.

shin walked down the halls of the school he carried his back pack and a hall pass slip from the front office. He picked at a lose piece of food in his teeth. He had eaten on his walk to school his Mom had been called into work and he had not set his alarm clock. Shin turned around a corner and arrived at his locker he opened it shoved his back pack into his locker grabbed his books from the bottom of the locker and tucked a pencil above his ear. He started to walk to history class. Man mom and dad sure have been working alot he thought to himself his father had just taken on a second job and his mother had just taken a job herself. HE opened the door to the class and looked to the teacher flashing him his pass. His flame's low Shin noticed normally Ikazuma Sensei normally had a healthy flame that at least would have light up the room but his flame now was barely enough to challenge a candle. he glanced at the rest of the class pretty much all of them had cinders and nothing more.

"Aw Shinajacki, your here," Ikazuma said taking the late pass, "All you missed was that you were split into groups for research projects. Your are in a group with Kajiro, Hajime, Asuka, and Renee. Okay now everyone split up into your groups and start planning your project." he said taking a seat at his desk. Kajiro then stood up and looked around for his group members in the chaos, Looks like everyones bar is slowly rising, he noted to himself.

Renee sighed. She quite liked her seat by the window, it gave her ideas to draw and took her mind off of other things, but if it must be sacrificed then so be it. She got to her feet, silently scanning the classroom for the other students whom she would be working on the project with.
She closed the book with the drawing of the tree in, so as to hide it from any prying eyes. Renee then wandered over to Asuka who happened to be seated nearest to her.

Asuka liked projects. Normally she could just do her part and people would leave her alone. She was always eager to get started and finish as quickly as possible, that way she had one less thing toworry about. At the same time though, she didn't like to rush right through and turn in a load of garbage. That was just a waste of time and effort. She looked at the notes in her notebook, not noticing that Renee had approached her.

Hajime walked over to Asuka and Renee, noticing that that seemed to be the place the group was gathering. He sighed, and said "Well, lets get this project over with." He didn't like projects, they were too long and tedious, and just so much unecessary work for students to do.

Shin nodded. " Okay then." He moved over to his group scratched the back of his head he was still half asleep. He turned a chair around and sat in it backwards and stayed on the relative outside of the group.

Kajiro walked over to the where the group had situated, "So where does everyone want to start?" he asked, "Obviously none of you want to do this, so we might as well get it over with." he said, looking around at everyones low bars.

Renee shrugged, her book clutched in her arms. She honestly didn't know much about the Ninjas, as she hardly ever actually listened in her History lessons, so she didn't know where on earth she would start.

Lan hadn't heard his group called out yet, but that was probably because he was a living encyclopedia. he flipped through all of the text books at the beginning of the school year, so it was obvious that a research assignment would be to easy, having any partners would be like cheating, so he was content at his seat in the back of class, reading a book he flipped though at the library. all he needed was a single glance, so every once and a while he would go to the library and flip through some books, so he could actually read them later.

Asuka whipped out a notebook, flipping it open to a clean page. She was excited to see what she would be doing this time around. She didn't really aknowlage anyone, just waited for someone to speak.

Hajime sighed, and looked at Kajiro. "Yeah, might as well." he grumbled, and looked back over to the rest of the group. "So, ninjas, anyone have any ideas on where to start?" he asked, sitting in a chair and leaning backwards on it.

"I don't know, maybe we could split up into groups." Kajiro said, "One taking the rise of the ninja the other taking their fall." he said. "What do you guys think of that?" he asked, taking a look at all of their bars as he asked the question.

"I don't mind...." replied Renee quietly. "I mean... I'm not much good at anything other than drawing."
The quiet young girl carefully watched each of the members of the group as they too answered.

Shin looked back at their sensei and still his flame was so low that a sneeze could put it out. " Hey anyone notice how down sensei is?"

"yeah i have" Lan said, putting down a book with blank pages. "i have never seen him this way, literally, his body language, and his expression do not match a single of my memories."
Lan picked the book back up and projected one from the library on the surface, it made it feel more real that way.

Asuka sighed, but at the same time was worried for her teacher. "Perhaps there's something he has to do that he doesn't want to." she finally spoke, taking a look at the clock above his head.

Renee stayed silent but also glanced over at their teacher. She watched him for a few moments before she turned back to the group she was working with.
"Should we ask him?" she wondered, her voice quiet as usual. Renee realized that she probably sounded rather nosy, but her curiosity was starting to get the better of her.
