The Weisal, The Dog, and the Bug

Mission: Client: Ariados
Objective: Escort Ariados through Shadowhue Forest, and collect 2 Oran Berries and 3 Cheri Berries
Place: Shadowhue Forest
Difficulty: B
Reward: 360 Poke+Power Band

Kurotaiyou was walking throught the guild trying to find Tsukishiro but with no luck. "I guess I'll have to find someone else to help me." she mused. She continued to look around when she saw Oswald, "Hey Ozwald!! Want to come with me on a Mission?!" she asked.

Oswald sat on the floor, meditating silently as he tried to collect his thoughts. However, this was quickly ruined by Kuro, who's request threw the mienfoo out of his trance. With red eyes, Oswald looked over to the Houndoom and nodded, "Sure thing. I'm not doing anything else at the moment. Where will we be heading?"

Kuroyou handed the Mianfoo the paper, "We go to Shadowhue Forest. We need to escourt an Ariadous, apparently he lost some items." she explained. The reward looks interesting. she thought.

Oswald smiled, "Well, we already have the two Oran berries accounted for, so long as I don't use mine. We just need to find three Cheri Berries, escort this fellow around the forest, and we'll be set!"

Oswald patted his satchel, making sure that the contents were still inside. Then again, he didn't really carry all that much, and the only accessory on him was the Courage Dust that hung off the Mienfoo's neck inside of a little pouch, like a makeshift necklace.

"Let's get going then." the Houndoom said impationtly already heading for the door. She had her pack ready to go aswell. She had an Oran Berry so if she needed it she will be fine.

The Mienfoo nodded, following closely behind the Houndoom as they left for Shadowhue forest. The forest, as it's name preceded, was incredibly dark and was very ominous. Oswald was not afraid, as he he was more than ready for the challenge ahead. At least, that was what he believed.

"I hope the client doesn't try to scare us." Kurotaiyou growled. She continued to walk throught the forest and sent out a small Ember flame to light the way.

"I don't see why an Ariados would want to scare a Houndoom...I mean, think of the catastrophic misunderstanding..." Oswald mused, picturing the bug type scaring the duo, only for the Ariados to be roasted by the surprised Houndoom. The Mienfoo shuddered at the thought, and instead focused on the surrounding forest. After all, it would be embarassing if they fell into a trap so early on in the mission.

"There you are! I've been waiting for ages for someone to come help me!!" a voice from the trees called out. "Oi you the cliant?!" Kurotaiyou asked the Pokemon in the tree. "Why is this guy in the tree?" she asked Oswald.

"They're probably up there hiding. After all, I wouldn't want to be standing around on the forest floor, where anything could come out and assault me. Would you?" Oswald replied, looking up at their client, who was hanging from one of the tree branches by their web.

"You need any help getting down?" Oswald asked, though he doubted that the spidery pokemon would need any assistance. Still, the bug might have been injured, so it was always good to ask before jumping to conclusions.

The Ariaduos \lept down from his web with a loud thud, "Does it look like I need any help? Come on boy. "he said to the Houndoom.

Kurotaioyu stopped herself from using Fire Fang on the cliant, Think of the reward. she told herself.

"B-boy? But she's a girl," Oswald replied, following the Ariados and silently wondering how he couldn't tell that Kuro was a female. Oh well, the reward would be well worth the effort...

"My horns are smaller. A male Houndoom's horns are larger." Kurotaiyou explained softly to the Mianfoo.

Oswald nodded, "Ah, I'll keep that in mind then. Still, I don't see how our client mistook you for a male. By the way, how deep are going...into the forest, of course."

It wasn't like Oswald was scared of the creatures and dangers that laid in wait deep in the Shadowhue forest. To be honest, Oswald only asked so that he could estimate how long it would take to complete the mission. Not that he was impatient or anything, but it would be nice to finish before nightfall.

"It just says "Escort him through the forest" and to get some Oran Berries and Charrie Berries." Kurotaiyou said looking at the flyer again. "Will you two hurry up!?" the Ariadous shouted asked. "You bhetter be strong, Girl" he said to the Mienfoo.

Oswald stifled a growl, not wanting to further irritate their client and drag this mission out any longer than it needed to be. Though, now that Oswald was starting to become aqquainted with this client, he realized how much of a mistake it was to come along. Still, a mission was a mission, and that Power Band sounded mighty useful, especially to such a physical fighter like Oswald.

"Hey, don't you think you should stick between us Ariados? You'll be safer that way." Oswald suggested, speeding up his pace so that he now traveled slightly ahead of the Ariados.

"I don't need your protection!" he snapped as he used String Shot to get into the trees. "Why did I pick this flayer?" Kuro asked herself.

"Because I don't think anyone else would've taken the job..." Oswald replied, frowning slightly at their client's stubborn, rude attitude. Wasn't he the one asking for the guild's help in the first place? If so, then why was the Ariados being such a massive pain in the butt?

"Let's just get this over with, the reward had better be worth it." Kurotaiyou said as she began to walk below the Ariadous. Little did she know that there was a small pack of Poochyana.

"Yeah, the sooner the bet- Wait...I think there's something following us." Oswald stated, looking around to see a small group of Poochyena, roughly five or six of them, slowly circling the trio of adventurers, growling at them as menacingly as they could.

"Alright, we split them half way. You take three, I take three?" Oswald proposed, entering a battle stance as he started to use Meditate.

"That fine by me." the Houndoom said using Flame Charge on one of the three Poochyana.

The three Poochyena's charged at the Mienfoo, all of them leaping at the martial arts pokemon at once. Their sharp teeth were readied for a Bite attack, but neither of the three hit, as Oswald planted a right hook esque Force Palm against the side of the closest Poochyena, causing the recipient of the blow to collide with his duo of partners due to the force of the following shockwave emitted by the Force Palm.

Of course, the two Poochyena's were mostly unharmed by this, but the third quickly got up and ran away, no doubt to warn others of the intruding adventurers.

"Darn, one of mine got away!" Oswald exclaimed, frowning as he readied himself for a counter attack from the gang of Poochyenas.

Kurotaiyou howled(Not the move "Howl" It's just a howl) to get the Poochyana's attention. She managed to get the 5 Poochyana's to focus on her. "Come at me with your Best shot." she growled with her head low and bareing her teeth.

Oswald smiled at the distraction, and was quick to tackle one of the Poochyena's to the ground, quickly smacking it upside the head with a swift Pound attack before it proceeded to use Bite and latch onto the Mienfoo's left arm.

"Ow! Get off, get off!" Oswald exclaimed, smacking the Poochyena over and over with Pound attacks with his right arm, if only so that the fiesty little pooch would just let go.

Kurotaiyou giggled at the funny scene, "Faint Attack." she whispered disappiering from the Poochyana's sight for a moment and reappiering behind them and hit the four of them.
