The heavy, misty fog that surrounded the hill of Pricklemist was almost blinding, and it was almost obvious why there was a request for someone of the guild to come and deliver a Blast Seed and Blue Ribbon to the location. And, while Oswald had obtained a Blue Ribbon earlier on from his client, it was still strange for the customer to ask for two completely unrelated items, and to have them be delivered to a place like this was even more puzzling. Still, it wasn't Oswald's job to ask questions, he just needed to get there and deliver the items, that was all.
Still, with this blue ribbon he was carrying, he was almost positive that a certain thief would pop around and try to take it. Oswald would just have to make sure to stay on his guard, to make sure that he wouldn't be taking the first blow.

| Vanilla walked over to him. His words made her melt to the point where she wobbled when walking for a few moments. She understood how he felt, she did, but after seeing how bad his burns were she sighed. Vanilla knew he couldn't stay any longer otherwise he'd faint right in front of her, something she didn't want to see. "You need to go, now." She said and tried to reach for his satchel to search for the badge every guild member carried to teleport them back to their guild as well as others. | |

| Oswald gently held onto Vanilla's paw, and smiled at the gesture before replying, "I can...get it."
Oswald slowly dug his paw into his bag, and carefully rummaged through it before pulling out his guild badge. He looked up to the Minccino, his garnet colored irises catching the moonlight as he asked, "Hopefully, the next time we meet, we won't be "enemies", ya know? It'd suck to see your poster on the board when I get back to the guild. Well, I'll see you later then?"

| Vanilla gave him a weak smile. She gently pulled her paw away. "Yeah... We'll see." She said quietly and backed away from him. She blinked a few times, as if something was caught in her large brown eyes. Vanilla didn't want a lengthy goodbye, and thus created a gap between them while waiting for him to be on his way by using the guild badge. "I'll see you around." | |

| Oswald nodded, looking down at his badge and rubbing it for a moment or so, then chuckled, "You say maybe, but you say you'll see me around regardless...how true. Well, have a safe trip back...see you later."
Oswald was surrounded by a golden ray of light, and in an instant, he vanished without a trace.

| Vanilla watched him leave. The sudden lack of her companion made it seem more chilly... And dark. She shook herself as if trying to shake off of the cold feeling and turned to disappear into the forest back to find Rayo. The memories of the journey lingered fresh in her mind, a bittersweet mix of good and bad, painful and joyful. All together she couldn't help but tear up a little, and yet smile at the same time even though she knew the times ahead would be rough. | |
