Client: Ariados
Objective: Escort Ariados through Shadowhue Forest, and collect 2 Oran Berries and 3 Cheri Berries
Place: Shadowhue Forest
Difficulty: B
Reward: 360 Poke+Power Band

Oswald smirked, taking up the job the moment he saw the word "power" on the form. After all, it was his goal to become as strong as he possibly could, and if this band could help him achieve this goal, then any risk was worth taking, any task was worth accomplishing. Besides, Oswald had tried his hand at an A rank mission before, so surely this would be easier to accomplish by leaps and bounds! With a moment to pause, Oswald took out his map, and flattened it against the wall, glancing over the wrinkled page until finding the little label that anounced that one of the markers lead to Shadowhue Forest.

Of course, this made it hard for other members to see the other jobs posted on the bulletin board, and some voiced their displeasure to the young Mienfoo, but Oswald was too absorbed in charting a course from the guild to the Shadowhue Forest to pay attention.

Aqua had re joined the guild not to long and had not acommplished much new members seemed to flood in every day and take all the B and A missions she had been stuck with D and maybe C if she was lucky and now yet again there was another noob taking an a mission. " Hey! Will you please leave some good missions for the veterns here!' she snapped at the Mienfoo

Oswald barely heard Aqua, smiling to himself and rolling up his map and the mission form, and simply walking away from the Bulletin Board. It was only after he was finally finished that he finally noticed Aqua's disapproval. He looked over to her, and frowned, "Well, if you have such a problem about it, then why don't you help me? I could certainly use a helping hand."

The Mienfoo opened up the form and said, "An Ariados wants us to escort him through Shadowhue Forest, and collect 2 Oran and Cheri Berries. The reward is 360 poke and a power band. You can take the money, and I'll take the power band, that sound good to you?"

" Wait what's this us business I haven't a agreed and you seriously don't want the money?" Aqua was confused normally it was the other way around and she had to get the crappy item while the other one got the money. "Um well um I don't know." she picked furously at her nub where her left arm would have been if she had not lost it.

"Yeah, I don't. If I wanted money, I'd just do a bunch of low rank quests. It's the experience and the trophy, that power band that I'm getting by the end of this, that's what I want out of this mission, aside from the satisfaction of helping Ariados in his time of need." Oswald replied, heading towards the ladder before stopping for a brief moment.

"By the way, my name is Oswald. Now, do you want to come along or not?" Oswald asked, his tone subdued, with no hint of irritation in his voice as he pondered whether or not this "veteran" would aid him on this mission.

" Well I guess I',m not going to get a good mission any other way. " she sighed and jumped to above Oswald and started to climb/skip rungs up the ladder she was far quicker then you would have expected for only having one arm. she stopped and looked back down. " Oh and by the way My names Aquamarine but you can just call me aqua."

Oswald nodded up to Aqua, and instead of exchanging banter, simply continued to climb, and didn't say a word until the duo had gotten to the entrance of the guild. Cool air blew through the fence that kept unwanted pokemon out of the guild, but the Mienfoo could barely feel anything, due to his fur coat growing out for the upcoming winter.

He looked over to the stub of an arm on Aqua, but only briefly. He knew it wasn't his place to ask about it, so he left it at that and concentrated his view on the beautiful afternoon sunshine, it's rays bouncing off of everything it could touch.

The gates slowly rose, and Oswald, holding onto the map that would lead the duo to their client, set off.

Larse had been sitting around towards the front of the guild waiting for something to happen. Then he saw Aqua and another pokemon come from the gate. Since he couldn't really wave he called "Hey" Over to her.

"Larse!" She called and rushed over to him. " Hey!' she greeted. " how have you been I haven't seen you in forever."

Oswald tilted his head to the side in confusion and walked over to the duo, "Who is this, a friend of yours I assume?"

Larse answered for her. "Yeah." He said with a remaining enthusiasm. "And you are?" He asked remembering that she was just with him.

"I'm Oswald. Aqua wanted to do a higher ranking mission, so I let her join me on my B rank mission. So, how do you know her?" Oswald asked, itching the back of his head with his right paw, all the while looking over the Eevee and the Buizel and wondering just how it was the two met each other. Not that there weren't weirder couples in the world, but this one certainly needed elaboration.

" Hey what's with that tone?" She asked glarring at him they weren't a couple least not yet and she didn't like to be forced into realtionships by assumetions.

Larse was a little caught off gaurd by both things that each one said. He tried thinking of a way to make this less of an uncomfortable situation.

Oswald blinked a few times, not really understanding where this sudden tension cropped up from.

"Um, what tone? He just said that you were friends, right? There's no reason to get upset," Oswald butted in, fully expecting to get something thrown back at him for sticking his nose in other Pokemon's business. Regardless, he didn't want this to slow down the mission, after all, they had a client who was in desperate need of their services.
