The Journey Begins: An Unova Region Adventure!

Hikari awoke from a strange dream. It was already leaving her mind as she tried to remember it. She looked at her Calender and suddenly remembered today was the day she would get her first Pokemon. Quickly she jumped out of bed an got dressed. Running down stairs she nearly bumped into her Mom, Oh sorry Mom I don't want to be late for getting my first Pokemon." she said rather quickly. Her mom chuckled in response, "I know dear just be careful okay? And also make sure you call me when you get to a town." "Right I will Mom I'll miss you." Hikari left her home and was off to the Pokemon Research lab.

"Alright Mizukaren!" Axineld cheered, "We won!" he said as he pumped his fist into the air. Mizukaren then copied the pose that Axineld made, "Osha!(Thats right!)" he then walked over to Axineld and jumped up and hung from the sheathed sword.

Once Mizukaren was hanging from his sword Axineld walked over to where the kid and Cruncher were, "Hey that was a good match," he said, as he held out his hand so he could shake the kids hand.

"Whatever," the kid said, he then returned Cruncher to his pokeball. Instead of shaking Axineld's hand he just pulled out 100 poke and slapped it into Axineld's hand. "See ya around chum." he said as he turned and walked off towards Accumula Town.

"Well that kid was a real jerk," Axineld said as he put the money in his pocket, "Come on Mizukaren, lets go find the girls." he said as he turned around and went in the direction he came from.

Hikari blinked, "Did I just win or something?" she asked Kaori. Roscoe tilted his in confusion and a coriuos bark.

Kaori blinked for a moment before she realized what Umbra had done. It had worked beautifully.
She smiled, not answering Hikari's question.
"Assist!"

The Purrloin suddenly grinned another white ball of light forming on the tip of her front paw. She held it up in the air and a strong Gust attack came from it, heading straight for the Lillipup.

"Mizukaren that battle was amazing," Axineld said to his partner, "You followed the strategy perfectly and you also adapted to the unexpected. That is exactly what I want you to do." he said. "Osha(Thank you,)," Mizukaren responded.

Axineld stopped by a tree and leaned on it, he had finally reached where the girls were battling, "It looks like the girls are still in the middle of their battle." he said.

The Lillipup braces himself against the Gust attack with all he could. That was Fake Tears? Well I have to admit that was a good stratigy. Hikari thought. "Roscoe Try to use Tackle!" she shouted. Roscoe looked up opening one eye and struggled to get up. With will power and determination he tried to run against the Gust attack.

"Keep up the Gust attack but kick up the dust with your tail!"
The Purrloin nodded, the Gust attack still going strong as she used her crescent shaped tail-tip to fling dust into the Gust, propelling it towards the Lillipup.

"This battle looks engaging," Axineld said, still leaning on the tree, "What do you think Mizukaren?" he asked.
Mizukaren was still hanging from Axineld's sword, "Osha...(Yea...)"

Roscoe flinched as the dust got in his eyes. out of instinct he lifted his paw to get the dust out, by doing so he was lifted slightly off the ground and was sent flying back. Hikari saw thing and dashed over to her Pokemon to catch him. "You ok Roscoe?" she asked the Pokemon. "Pup!(I'm ok.) he barked. Hikari sighed in relief, "Thank goodness."

Kaori smiled and picked up Umbra after she stopped her onslaught of Gust and Sand-Attack. The young trainer scratched the Purrloin's head behind her ears eliciting a soft purr from the cat-like Pokemon.

"Hey Axineld!" she waved, realizing that her new friend was stood just there leaning up against the tree.

"Hey girls," Axineld said, he walked over to them since their battle was over, "That seemed like an intense battle." he said.

Hikari giggled as she rubbed her Lillipup's head. Muramasa made a small smile meaning that the small Pokemon did his best. Roscoe barked in happyness. He then looked at the Purrloin, "Pup pup lillipup!(That was a great battle but I'm not going to lose to you again!) he barked with a determained smile

"Puurr, Purrloin.(I look forward to the next time, Roscoe)" replied Umbra, a mischevious glint in her eyes.
Kaori chuckled at their Pokemon's mini rivalry. She couldn't help but wonder exactly what they had said to each other.

"So where to next?" Axineld asked. Mizukaren hopped off of Axineld sword and walked over to the other pokemon.

Hikari picked up Roscoe while Muramasa was on her shoulder. "I think it's called Striaton City. Is that right Kaori?" she asked the other girl.

Kaori nodded as she returned Umbra to her Pokeball.
"Yup. That's correct."

"Well all right then," Axineld said, "Striaton City it is. Mizukaren, I am going to keep you in your pokeball for now so you can rest, alight?" Mizukaren looked over at Axineld, "Osha(Alright,)." he said. Axineld then pulled out Mizukaren's pokeball and sent him back in. "Lets go," he said.
