Re-Building a Home Part 2

Senshi walked up to the top of the hill and took a look at the large pile if wood left over from yesterday. "Well, I will just get starter before Jet gets here." He draws his sword and prepares to cut the wood."

Admiring the beautiful day, Jet padded up the hill, fresh and ready to meet Senshi.
"Oh. Hello Senshi! Did you start already?" he asked. He had specifically not worn his shades today because they'd just hinder his work.

"Well I got one cut in," he takes a look at the pile of wood. "Unfortunatly, I don't know what we need to do next. Architecture isn't my specialty."

"Its not exactly mine either..." admitted Jet, nimbly hopping over to Senshi, also glancing at the pile of wood.

"Hm, I guess we could take a look at the original house." He takes a look over at the small house. "What do you think?"

Jet nodded and padded over to the original house. "Maybe we could just focus on repairs for now... and add to the structure when we feel necessary?" he asked.

"Yea i mean really," he punches a hole in the wall of the building, "look how weak the wood has gotten." He doesn't even take in to considereation his own strength.

Jet had a sort of 'seriously?' look on his face after Senshi punched a hole in the walls of the house. He blinked and shook it off. "Well we'd best get started then."

"Yup," He picks up two halfs of a large log, "I will start with the roof." He then hops up top of the small house, carefull not to cause the roof to fall in.

The Vaporeon nodded and set about repairing and strengthening the wall that Senshi smashed through.

After a majority of the day taken up, the two had replaced a large portion of the roof. The sun was starting set so Senshi decided to finish up for the day. "Well, I think we made a pretty good dent in todays work. What do you think?" he takes a look at Jet.

Jet nodded, wiping a bead of sweat from his face with one paw. "I'm so hungry I could eat a tree."

"Haha, well take your pick they are everywhere." he indicates all the trees surrounding them. "We are going to have to have to postone the rest of the reconstruction fow awhile. Johno is going down to Grassveil for a visit, and I need to watch his shop."

Jet nodded, "I think we'd both benefit from the break. Lots of long days of hard work aren't good for the health."

"Yea, but too little hard work and you could end up," he pauses, "Well you could end up like Johno."

Jet chuckled at the statement. "I guess."
He flicked his tail, "I think I'll stick around for a while and see if I can find any berries in these woods."

"Okay," I will see you in a few days. Senshi heads down the hill back into town, for one last night at his own home before staying at Senshi's.
