Everyone has a song inside
A little flame that keeps on burning
Billowing gusts of wind keep blowing
But the fire inside will keep on glowing
Ashes will fly, light will twist
But not one thing will go amiss
Set it free, it won't come back
Your smuggling body keeps it trapped
There is no latch to open and close
No "Out the window, there it goes!"
Will reach your ears while you're alive
Because no song can look outside
But fear not, all will get their chance
By bullet, blade or passing glance
One by one, population diminish
And all at once your song will finish
