The Pokemon Academy RP! (Signups Only)

It's been some time since the destruction of the evil teams, and now, peace has returned to the land of Pokemon. Now, a fairly recent 'thing' has begun. Pokemon Academies, spread worldwide. New Trainers, when they receive a scholarship, can go off and stay in an Academy.

At an Academy, one is able to learn about the aspects of battle, training, Pokemon Contests, breeding, Pokemon facts, and Musicals. There also annual competitions between academies. Students compete by battling, coordinating, and simply showing off their Pokemon's inner beauty. Also, there are special Pokemon Musical contests, where the best composer of music wins.

The first year at Cobblestone Academy, you'll be placed in either the Oshawott Blue dorm, or the Snivy Green or maybe the Tepig Red. Anyhow, it doesn't matter, besides who you'll be staying with. And those are for the girls. The boys' dorms are: Eevee White, Zorua Black, and Axew Gray. Each month, a random rare Pokemon will be released in the school. Whoever manages to capture it will keep it as their Pokemon, and receive a medal.

Now, Cobblestone Academy is set upon an island, only reachable by ferry. Don't worry, as the ferry is free for students and teachers. The island is called Paradise Island, for the many Pokemon there. However, there is a part in the forest where you are forbidden from going. If you're caught, you'll be expelled immediately. Will you go there and investigate the unknown terror that lives in the cave?

Also, at light's out, high-leveled Pokemon will patrol the hallways, and they are highly trained. They'll beat you in battle in a flash, and bring you to the headmaster. So, I advise you to NOT sneak out.

Tidalcoast Beach
A large beach on the side of the island, and a few meters away from the campus, Tidalcoast is a comfortable place to spend in the sunshine. The sparkly blue waves, the clear blue, sky, it makes me want to jump in there. xD A little to the end of the coast, is a beautiful and colorful coral reef. It's a nice place for water Pokemon.

Campus
The Cobblestone Academy is vast, with the canteen, the classrooms, and the other stuff. There's also the dorms, which take up half the school. There's an amphitheatre for practicing for Pokemon Musicals, a stage for coordinating, and such. There's everything you need, even individual showers. Don't ask how that came to be. Also, there has been a rumor that the lunch ladies accidentally serve Vanillite instead of ice cream for dessert. So be careful!

Training Field
Very simple. Just a large area outside the school, complete with a table tennis court, a running track, a battling ground, and a soccer pitch.

Forest of Paradise
The forest is the pride of the island, with its tropical colors and abundance of Pokemon and plants. This is where all the fresh fruits for dessert come from. However, deep inside the forest is a cave, which is forbidden from the students.

Spiraling Hill
The Spiraling Hill is a tall mountain next to The Forest of Paradise. The hill spirals upwards, hence the name, and it is barren and rocky. At the top is something special, but only the headmaster of the school knows, though he would never share it with anyone, the reason unknown.

The Meadows of Bloom
This meadow is situated right outside of the Paradise Forest. Every single day there are flowers in bloom for some strange reason. Even in winter, the flowers bloom, but they turn white or light blue. It's actually a nice place to relax and be in sync with nature.

Glimmering Lake
This lake is nothing special, though in the sunlight, it seems to glow in the seven colors of the rainbow. A small stream runs from the lake to the open sea, transporting water from the latter to the former.

The Forbidden Cave
Ah, the cave which is so forbidden. The headmaster, before the founding of the school, explored into it. For an unknown reason, known only to the headmaster himself, the man ran terrified out of the cave, with wounds, and his Pokemon all fainted. It took him almost a year to recover from the shock. The only thing he says about the cave, is that there's some sort of 'demon' in there. Even the wild Pokemon stay well away.

Midnight Woods
Midnight Woods is a small forest. It got its name from the tall trees, which cover the sky entirely, spreading a cloak of darkness over the entire forest. The Pokemon here, unlike the ones in the Paradise Forest, are fairly aggressive and mean. However, that doesn't mean they're strong. If you have a reliable Pokemon, then you should be fine. Hopefully.

The Volcanic Underground
This underground valley has rivers of lava flowing in branches everywhere, and sometimes the magma will shoot up at random. The very ground is rocky and rough. It may be a haven for Fire-types, but for humans, just make sure you don't get burned.

The Great Oak
A large, and ancient oak tree. It's usually a place where the students hang out when they're bored, but even Pokemon like to stay here. The tree seems to give off a comforting and relaxing atmosphere.

Icebreeze Cavern
A large cavern inside the foot of the Spiraling Hill. For some reason, it's freezing cold inside there, even in summer. It's actually nice if you want to cool down from the blazing sun. Not to mention that its a haven for Ice-types.

These are the festivities and events in the Academy each year. Sometimes, new ones may be added to ensure that every year, is an exciting one.

The Monthly Capture Contest
Every end of the month, a single rare Pokemon will be released into the school at night, and the students will have to find, and capture it. Also, be careful as you may have to fight for it. The person who captures it first wins, and receives a medal and the Pokemon he/she caught is theirs.

The Great Race of Paradise Island!
Every year, there will be a race, which takes place on Paradise Island, as the name implies. From the school, each student and their Pokemon will have to get through obstacles, navigate through mazes, and such to get to the finish line, which is back to the school, though at the back. The winner, and his/her dorm will all get a pizza party and a trophy, plus a day off to do anything they like.

The Halloween Treasure Hunt
Every Halloween, Cobblestone Academy will have a special treasure hunt, every time with different items, riddles, etc. At night, all the students, forming a pair, even from different dorms, will go off with a piece of paper with the hunt items on and must find them. They are also given a small bag to place the items in. The items are spread over the whole island except for the school and the Forbidden Cave. Also, spooks and traps lay and are changed every year to keep you on your toes. So, be careful out there! Oh, right, prize for winning? Nothing. This is for fun!

The Mini-Battle Tournament
In the amphitheater there will be small battle tournament, each month. Nothing needed to be explained here. You win, you lose, and the winner of the overall tournament earns a medal. And that's it.

Christmas Party
As simple as that. Christmas carols, the tree with decorations, cookies, presents, and everything else and in between. There are also games and fun stuff, as well as plays, musicals and Pokemon contest shows from the Coordinators-in-training.

Snow-Sleighing Races
From atop the Spiraling Hill, which is covered completely white with snow in winter, contestants will ride their sleigh, with up to three Pokemon boosting the sleigh's speed, maneuvering and such with their moves. Teamwork is key here.

Gender: Boy
Age: 13

Appearance: He is a Caucasian boy, with short and spiky black hair, with a tiny hint of dark blue. Damon has dark eyes, and set on his head are a pair of goggles, a black frame and pale blue lens. He wears a plain dark blue shirt under a lighter sweater, as well as a pair of black pants and a pair of black sneakers with a white trim. Sometimes, Damon wears a pair of fingerless dark blue gloves.

History: Damon grew up in Sinnoh, desiring like crazy to become a Trainer. However, he lived in a place where there were bullies running about, and so he trusted nobody but himself and his family. However, he bonded with the wild Pokemon. Eventually, at the age of 13, he came back home, suddenly having a scholarship thrust into his face. He was happy at first, but he hated the idea of having to live with strangers. But, his parents made him go, for his own well-being.

Personality: He isn't very good at making friends and prefers to stay on his own as the lone wolf. Deep inside though, he's caring, loyal and friendly. You just need to pierce through his tough exterior to get to the soft under part. However, when around Pokemon, he is a whole different person. He loves Pokemon and makes friends with them very willingly. He has a natural affinity for Pokemon Battling, as well.

Name: Lauren Rose Song(Lol)
Gender: Female
Age: 12

Appearance: Pale young girl with long black hair, thats usually slightly wavy. Lauren has bright blue eys that always seem to be looking for adventure. When she's not in school, she wears a checkered dress like this.
When in school, Lauren usually just wears three quarter length jeans and an orange checkered blouse like this. On her feet she usually wears blue checkered pumps like this.

History: None of interest. She had a normal life and joined the school when her parents got her a scholarship

Personality: Laurel is a cheerful person, but finds it hard to make friends. Usually, other people approach her rather that her approaching them. With friends though, Lauren is a happy-go-lucky person who always tries to look on the brightside of things. If she looks down, you can tell that something just isnt right. Lauren has always loved pokemon contests and looks forward to when she can compete in real ones.

After a bit of looking you would soon notice his peircing icy blue eyes. He most often wears a black t0shirt with rather tight jeans for a dude. Thin rimmed, modern looking glasses rest upon the bridge of his nose.

History (optional) : nothing really
Personality: A kind and polite person to those he doesnt know, but once you get to know this thirteen your old you'll notice his personality change. He's a bit girly and laughs ridiculously loud. Riru always stands up for what he believes is right, no matter the consequences to himself and others.

Appearance: Tall for his age, he has short buzz cut brown hair. He wears glasses over his large brown eyes. His skin is slightly tanned from all of his laying around in the sun. He wears simple yellow T-shirts usually having a pokeball symbol on his chest. He wears jeans when he is not out looking around. If he is hiking he usually wears light brown khaki pants.

History (optional) : He has lived all over the world due to his parents being scientists, he does not have a specific home except for where his family and friends are. He believes family is the most important thing because they are always around. He has also made friends all over the world so that he always has something to do, and somewhere to go. His parents decided to send him to the Academy so that he could have a "normal" life without jumping around from place to place.
Personality:He is very out going and does his best to make friends with everyone. He hopes that the people at the academy will become his new family for the next few years. Along with being out going when it comes to people, he is very athletic and does a lot of outdoor activities (running, biking, hiking, swimming, rockcliming, rappelling). His excuse for doing odd things is, "I am the son of two scientists, I am naturally curious." Whenever he says this something bad happens, so be ready to run. He wants to be a pokemon breeder and be able to understand exactly how pokemon feel.

History: Nothing very interesting, he grew up in Kanto and lived there, exploring around his hometown area. He didn’t expect a scholarship, but didn’t hesitate to accept it.
Personality: Nick is kindhearted but can get into trouble often. He has a curiosity with machines and other things, and likes to see what he can do with them. He has a temper for people who annoy him, but it isn’t an easy thing to do to him.

History (optional): Danial was always smart, top of his class, but he didn't care, he always was on the internet or fiddling with some gadget. his parents decided to send him to Pokemon school to help him open up a bit.

Personality: Daniel likes to distance himself from others. he often doesn't show emotion and is usually on his phone or handheld.

Personality: One of the brave. Sakura is a fiersome warrior, never giving up the fight. Her wheels will keep spinning as lon as the wind is blowing and the air is flowing! She loves to fiht, and never takes a loss quietly, if she ever has one. Even though this girl has a large ego, she can't help old habits of studying other hings of intrest other then battling. The fact that she came to the academy to learn how to fight like a champ is true, and sheis always striving to fulfil her wishes, in front of her friends atleast.

Appearance (a picture will also be fine): She is 5' 5". She has strait, shoulder-length red hair which she often pulls back into a high ponytail. She is caucasian. Her usual day attire consists of a white tank top with jean-shorts that are about 6" abve her knee. When ith gets cool outside she replaces the shorts with full-length jeans and adds a gray jacket.
History (optional) :Chell originally comes from the Oblivia region and her parents were both pokemon pinchers. She very rarely saw them, and even when she did they were too busy to really talk to her or get to know her. She already hated them for their professions as it was. Feeling sad, bitter and lonely, she began to seek out a plan for her near future, which was when she recieved a scholarship to the Pokemon Academy. She is now torn between becoming a pokemon ranger or a pokemon trainer, and she hopes to find her answer during her time at the academy.
Personality: Her strongest attribute is tenacity. She is so headstrong and feirce that she won't give up on anything, even a seemingly lost cause. She will follow a plan through to the end. Once she is convinced of something, she won't allow anyone to convice her otherwise. You have to earn her trust, but she is an amazingly good friend regardless.
