Oyu! We need your help!

Cobalt helped Shaman into the guild and into the Infirmary, where they looked around to find Oyu.

Cobalt blinked at his words, and then again in surprise as Shaman burst into tears.

"don't worry shaman. i'll find her. i'll get her back safely." Sorren turned to cobalt. "you work at the cafe. do you know what happened?" Sorren asked, eyes watering.

"Sorren do as he says. Help him." Oyu murmured, urging Shaman to eat the berries

Cobalt shook her head, "I was fetching soemthing when it happened..."

Shaman ate the berries and slowly slid into sleep. His mind was filled with nightmares of what Lance could be doing right now to Dyami.

"OK, first. who is Dyami? second, where would they take her? third, why would they take her?" Sorren said, pacing.

"Dyami is the waitress at Feather Cafe..." replied Cobalt quietly. She didnt know the answer to any of the other questions.

"whoever did this wanted Shaman hurt instead of just knocked out. that means that they were either realy brutal or they had a bone to pick with Shaman. is there any sort of records room where i can find the jobs that Shaman has done in the past?" Sorren asked no one in particular.

"No one is allowed access to those types of things" Oyu said. "You'll have a hard time trying to get anything there"

Cobalt looked at Shaman curiously, "Perhaps one of his teammates knows...?"

"maybe, who are his teammates?" Sorren asked.

Cobalt shrugged, "I didnt know him until today..."

" we are at a dead end, we don't know who did it or where they are. we can only wait for Shaman to wake up, then we might get some details from him" Sorren said, frustrated.

"Shaman...?" she asked quietly, "Please wake up...... we need to know who kidnapped Dyami..."

Oyu sighed "You must let him sleep. He needs to sleep to fight off these injuries. I will call you once he wakes."

"What about Dyami?" she sighed, looking at the yamask.

" Lance! Lance! no. No!" Shaman screamed in his sleep. He tossed and turned already trapped in his nightmare from only asleep for a few seconds he was in hell.

"hmm. weird nightmare. why a lance and not a sword, swords sound scarier. oh well. dreams are weird like that" Sorren said.

Oyu winced, knowing there was nothing she could do to cure his scarred mind. She idly blew a breeze over him with a flap of her arms. "It is time you leave and give Shaman some peace." she said the words kindly but firmly.

Cobalt nodded, "I'll go back to the cafe and tell Rowan that Dyami is missing..."

i guess i'll just go back to my room and wait. WAIT! i have an idea. maybe the police chief might know something. i'll go there right away." Sorren said leaving Shaman to his dreams.
