Back at the boards.

Nate had walked back over to the area where the Job boards were, not sure if Jake was with him. He wasn't to sure about what to do next, so he just stood there looking at the boards.

Jake had brought Leafeon to the hospital, and as a result, came much later than his Pikachu friend. As expected, a Glaceon had made his way to where the two Guild members were.

"Hi. So how's Leafeon? Is he OK?" he asked, concerned about his friend.

"He's fine. Not life-threatening." Jake mumbled, not sure what to say.

"Thank you so much. As a reward, you can have this." Glaceon said, offering a black candy. "It's a Black Gummi. It's all I have. Please accept it." Jake nodded in thanks, before the client went off to check up on his friend at the hospital. He glanced down at the candy, not sure he wanted to eat it.

"Want it?" he asked, offering the Gummi to Nate.

Nate was happy that they had managed to rescue the Leafeon, and smiled when he saw how relieved the Glaceon was that his friend was ok. He almost didn't notice when Jake had offered him the black gummi. "Oh, no thanks, you can have it." Nate replied.

"No, no. You have it." Jake held out the gummi closer to Nate, intentionally. The black color of it made him almost vomit on sight. He preferred Blue Gummis, with their lustrous blue color and their nice scent and taste. It was almost a matter of time before dinner time began, he noted.

Nate backe up a little, having the same effect from the black gummi. He wasn't overly picky about the gummies, but the black one's just didn't go well with him. He got an idea, though, and replied to Jake "If you insist, I'll take it." and reached out to get the black gummi.

"Oh, great!" Jake felt relieved that he didn't have to eat it. He dropped it into Nate's yellow paws before slapping his own paws together.

Nate held on to the gummi, resisting the urge to get sick. "Well, we should probably eat dinner first!" he said cheerfully, hoping that he wouldn't have to eat the gummi right there. He almost gagged when he finished talking.

Jake could see that Nate was feeling sick, and silently giggled. As the bell rang, the Oshawott went down to the Mess Hall for some nice food. He gestured for Nate to follow, still humoring on the Pikachu's gagging.

Nate started walking along with Jake, keeping in mind to get rid of it as soon as possible. He saw the oshawott giggle, and tried not to do the same, since it was kind of funny.

Jake kept going, walking down the steps towards the Mess Hall, while his stomach growled more fiercely than a pack of Houndoom. he clutched it in embarrassment, his white cheeks now blushing. he made note to store his TM the next day before another mission.

Nate heard Jake's stomache growl, and finally couldn't help it. He laughed out loud quickly, and then stopped laughing. His stomache also growled, but more quietly. He hadn't realized how hungry he was before, during the mission, but now it was obvious. He kept following Jake to the mess hall, still holding the black gummi.
