Catching Up

Arty made his way into the police station. "wow, this place has really changed. can't belive this is the old police station." arty said, examining all the shiny new stuff. :3

Twayblade hopped over and claimed the seat next to the desk. She got herself comfortable then put her feet up on the desk.

Kei chuckled "Yes it has changed quite a bit" he fell silent for a few minutes, reminiscing. "So what brings you back to town?"

"well the guild is here. i found what i was looking for and have a bunch of artifacts to prove it. there was a town built inside of a cave, not exactly the lost civilization i was hoping for, but still worth it." arty said, sitting down on the couch, his large body taking up most of it.

"Intriguing" Kei murmured, hovering above the couch rather then sitting on it.

Twayblade was quite content to just listen to the two oldies reminisc for the time being.

"yeah, apparently they made their town in a cave to avoid ash that was spewing from a volcano, when i made it to the town, there was a river of lava. they put their town in a cave on the side of the volcano they were trying to avoid. its weird. oh, on my travels i got a TM. i can use ice beam now, very helpful for crossing rivers of lava." Arty said with a little chuckle.

Kei chuckled along with his old friend. "Its good seeing you again Arty" he said after a moment. "How long will you be staying?"

I wish i could use Ice Beam... she thought to herself.

"don't know, maybe days, weeks even months. it all depends on when i get my next lead." arty said. "the deeper i dig, the weirder history gets."

Kei guffawed at this last statement

"well i best be off. thanks for taking the time to talk to me Kie, nice meeting you Twayblade." arty said, walking out the door.

"Good bye Arty! Farewell!" he called after the pokemon

Twayblade nodded, "Bye!"
