On a Break....

Twayblade wandered through the Pecha Forest, picking the odd ripe berry from a tree every so often. She was taking a short, hour or so break from the paperwork of the Police Station to enjoy the fresh air. She took a bit into one of the sweet pink berries and savoured its taste, before climbing into a tree to watch the world go by.

"Ahhhhh!!!! Starfire! Where are you?!" a voice as there was a cloud of dust following a Purloin. She turned her head to see a flock of angry Pidgey gaining up on her fast. Panting heard she ran a little bit faster but she then tripped over a rock. She was in the air for a moment and siked to a halt on the ground a few feet away the Pidgey caught up to her and started to use their Peck attack. Trying to cover her face Ren was unablbe to do anything, "Someone help me!! she shouted hopeing that there was someone close by.

Twayblade heard the cries for help and darted off, scrambling from tree to tree as she followed the cries. She arrived at the scene and saw how many Pidgey there were. There were way too many for her to attack each of them, so she put one of the leaves on her arm to her mouth and used Grasswhistle. The soothing melody sent the attacking pidgey to sleep.

When Ren had shouted for help she notice a soothing sound and the pecking was stopping. Slowly she looked up and saw a Grovyle on a breanch using Grass Whistle then she looked down and saw that the Pidgey were fast asleep. Gasping in awe Ren got up but she was still hurt from the Peck attack and she flinched in pain.

The Grovyle blinked as she finished the song she had used for her Grasswhistle attack, then peered down to check that all the Pidgey were soundly asleep. They were, so she hopped down onto the ground. "Are you alright?" she asked gently.

Ren looked at the Grovyle as it asked her if she was ok, "Yes I'm alright." Ren winced inpain but shookit off. "Have you seen a Vulpix around here?" she asked out of concern for her friend. I hope Starfire is ok. she thought with worry.

She shook her head, "Sorry.. I havent seen anyone today but you and those Pidgey... I'm Twayblade by the way."

"Nice to meet you Twayblade. I'm Ren. Can you help me find my friend please. We got sepporated in a storm not to long ago." Ren explained, she didn't want to bother anyone with her trobles but she needed the extra help.

"I'd love to help!" she grinned, "Where did you last see each other?"

Ren explained that night during the storm. It was raining and the two friend were trying to find shelter. Only there was a powerful gust of wind and it blew her friend into the forest. "And that's why I'm out here. Next thing I know I spooked those Pidgey by cslling my friends name and then they started to chase me."

"Come on then. I'll help you search. We'd best get away from here before the Pidgey wake up anyways."
She smiled, then began to walk away further into the forest.

"Ok lead the way my friend." Ren said to Twayblade. Heading into the forest Ren made a new friend in hopes of finding her old one.

Twayblade marched along whilst humming Oracion. "What pokemon is your friend?" she asked.

"She's a Vulpix named Starfire. I hope she's ok, she gets shy around new pokemon." Ren said getting worried for her lost friend. Starfire where are you? she thought.

Twayblade nodded, "Okay... at least she'll stand out amongst all the green leaves!" she grinned, looking onto the bright side of things, as usual.

Ren laughed at the comint,"Your right. That one good thing of being a fire type in a forest. Huh?" she stopped talking as she heard a faint buzzing sound. "What's that buzz?" she asked Twayblade. The sound of the buzzing was getting louder.

"I would say it sounded like some Beedrill.. but Beedril dont live in Pecha Forest.."

Ren looked ahead of her and sure enough there was a swarm of beedrill coming there way looking petrified. Ren didn't know what to do and she started to panic. "What do we do? What do we do? What do we do?!" she asked in a hurry. When she was by her self Ren often panics easily.

The Grovyle was a quick thinker but racked her brains for an answer. "Can you climb trees?" she asked suddenly.

"Yes, but I can only climb small one I don't know if i can climb these." Ren explained. Ren ran to the nearest tree and jumped up with her claws extended, "But that doesn't mean I can't try!"

"Great!" she grinned. She climbed the same tree, then pulled Ren up onto a higher branch. "I can quickly hop along the branches of trees.. but i wouldnt think a Purrloin could... If they notice us here, I'll try using Grasswhistle on them, like the Pidgey."

"Right. Are Beedrill common in this forest?" Ren asked as she waspull on to the breanch. The Beedrill were flying passed the tree not notice in the two pokemon.

The Grovyle sighed in relief as they flew past. Even she didnt want to get stung by a Beedrill. "No... Beedrill dont live in the Pecha Forest.. so i dont know why these ones are here..."

Ren looked up at the Grovyle in aw that she knew somuch about the forest. "Maybe something spooked them. Hey!" she gasped noticing something odd about the Beedrill. "Some of them had brun marks on them." she told Twayblade.

Twayblade blinked, "Maybe they got scared of your friend."
She chuckled, "C'mon, lets go look!"
