Solis's recovery.

Solis opened his eyes and remembered falling over. he saw a ceiling above him, he was indoors. he sat up, feeling a headache. he saw a yamask across the room. "excuse me, but did you bring me here?" Solis asked.

"what's your name again?" Solis asked from his place in the ward. "hawkeye?"

"Sharpeye..." she corrected, switching her gaze to the Xatu.

"sorry i didn't come sooner. i didn't know you would be here, strange, the way fate shapes the world. i knew i would have to be here, but i slept in too late. some things just defy all explanation. now, sharpeye, can i call you arrow yet. i would like to count you as one of my friends." Solis said.

If she had use of her broken wing, she would hav crossed them. "I dont know anything about you.. apart from the fact that you're called Solis and are a Xatu with an odd underlying condition that Oyu hasnt said anything about."

"sorry, this happens all to often with me. i lived alone until recently, when i got ill. sometimes i take my predictions to seriously. i saw our lives cris-crossing throughout the future. of course my predictions aren't completely reliable. at the cafe i acted as though we were friends, because we already were in the future. my mind is starting to fail me and sometimes i get mixed up with the past or the future." Solis said.

"Time can be re-written. The future isnt sealed in stone." she replied pointedly.

"i forget that all too often. i know my illness is fatal, and i have the clearest vision of when i die. one year from now, i will be bedridden. a month later i will die. the most clear of any of my visions. it is almost as if it has just happened." Solis said, starring at the ceiling.

"As I said, time can be re-written. You have a whole year to try and find a cure, and then everyone else has the best part of a month on top of that."
The Pidgeot wondered what it must be like, to have a fatal illness like this, and see yourself die in your visions of the future...

"there is no cure. this disease has plagued many, taking different forms. it is always deadly. i have lived a long live, i only wish to have lived a long happy life in one years time." Solis said.

"Then I will make it my task to make sure you do have a happy life."

"told you we would be friends. tell you what, tomorrow come by my house. its a little green cottage on the south side of town. i will be baking, come by for tea and some fresh cookies." Solis said, chuckling

The Pidgeot tilted her head and nodded.

"you can take your team with you if you want, the more the merrier!" Solis added, thankful that he would have some rampancy over.

Arowena smiled, "I'll go and find them. Ive gotta get out of here anyways.. See you tomorrow then."
She waved with her non-injured wing then left the ward, leaving Solis and the sleeping Dragonair alone.
