Alone and Wandering

The lithe, blue-scaled pokemon slithered through the bustling town. She tried not to stand out in the crowds. It wasnt hard because of the sheer amount of pokemon there were in the town square. She spotted a bench not far away and decided to rest there a while, whilst she gathered her thoughts.

" What is that thing? " Billy looked at the orb.

She blinked at the unexppected question, but answered quietly. "I dont know what anyone else would call it... but its a part of me, just like a Spoink's pearl is a part of him...."

" Wow amazing. All I have is this old hat my pa gave me." Billy adjusted his hat.

"A hat is more unique than my orb." she replied, "Every Dragonair has one....... and two more like it on their tail........ See?"
She flicked her tail again, so that Billy could see the other two orb-like crystals on her tail.

" Well your orbs seem more useful then my hat." Billy loved the hat but it was true it was useless to say the least.

She shrugged then looked at the now sunny sky, before speaking in her extremely quiet voice that i have run out of words to describe, "That may be so, but they are not as valuable on a personal level as your hat."

" well I guess." Billy shrugged and took out a blade of grass to swoosh from side to side in his mouth.

Cobalt curled up on the bench, coiling her body and tail around her. She began to hum softly.

"what's that your humming." Billy sat on the bench and listened for her voice that was so dang hard to hear.

A blue colored Ralts tugged lightly on the tail of the Dragonair, stirking a Ralts pose with his hand up to his mouth. "Hello..." he murmured

"Just something i'm creating.... I haven't perfected it yet..." she replied quietly, stopping her humming and making a mental note before starting again.
She paused her humming again as a shiny Ralts tugged on her tail.She looked down at him as he said 'Hello..'
Cobalt returned the greeting, in an equally quiet murmur, then continued forming the words of her song in her head.

The Ralts smiled and sat on the ground, trying to hum along with her tune.

"hey there little fella." Billy turned to the small pokemon." now miss I hurt your tail so by my code of a cowboy you need to let me get you something." Billy had been raised well by his moma.

She shook her head and paused her humming again to reply. "Really.. its fine...."

"No miss I insist." Billy wouldn't feel right if he didn't do something anything.

She sighed... "Well.. if you want to do something to help me... you can tell me if this sounds alright..."
She blinked then began to sing to this tune.
"Under the stor-my sky,
The tears are falling so freely,
Lost and alone to-night.
Through the lands, she trav-els far,
TheStars will guide her way."

She stopped singing and blushed. She didnt usually like to sing in front of others, but her voice seemed to be perfect for the job... She looked to Billy and the shiny ralts for their opinion. "Its only the first verse..." she clarified, quietly...

"Its beautiful" Kaz smiled warmly. "You should keep going! It sounds great" he encouraged

She smiled at the Ralts' praise. "Thankyou.... I'll have to find some inspiration for the chorus though..."

"Inspiration.." he murmured, sitting back down with an expression of extreme thought on his face

She smiled as she watched the Ralts and his expression of extreme thought. "Usually, whenever i want some inspiration, I find somewhere nice and calming, and just look around me.."

Billy had pulled his hat over his face. He wads blushing. She had sung wonderful. Billy was at a loss for words.

The Dragonair glanced at Billy with his hat over his face, and wondered what his thoughts were...

Billy moved his hat." It ... It is perfect miss." Billy replaced his hat on his head.

She smiled shyly, "Thankyou.... It means more to me than anyone could ever hope to know..."

" Really? Well I can try to understand what it means." Billy didn't like to be told he couldn't do something for another's own good.
